About Stackelberg-Goerne

Welcome to my comfortable, very relaxing Casa Benty, Marbella. I was born in a German castle, Viktoria-Luise Princess zu Schaumburg-Lippe, studied Interior Architecture in Paris and Germany. Happily married twice to well-known gentlemen, both died of cancer.For 10 years I worked freelanced for the best German Interior Arch.magazine worldwide. My 2nd husband (Olympic game rider, racing driver, publisher constructing houses in Germany and Pavona Real Urban. In Marbella. With the advice of Prince Hohenlohe, founder of the elegant high society Marbella Club, he bought the best land for constructing individual elegant villas in 1200m to 4000m gardens near the historical town. Everybody loves my relaxing, quiet house, excellent service,(maid) the colourful garden of roses, red bougainvilleas, palm trees ....

the name of my house is casa Benty. The Pavona Real, the famous Golden Mile starts here, is an ideal location so close to town, a place where you cannot buy any more property nowadays. Elegant, well kept, practical with access in walking distance to golf, tennis, restaurants, beaches, shops, bus stop, the old town but without noisy roads in a green park of old trees,exotic plants,blooming the whole year round. An undisturbed paradise with outstanding sea-and mountain view, nice neighbors,ideal for the whole family. The little guesthouse gives extra privacy for 2 or grown-ups,who want to come home late without disturbing. Garden, terrace with its BBC, furniture and sunbeds, the pool just invites to enjoy life away from the crowds. No steps or staircases in casa Benty. We would not change!

What makes this villa unique

Casa Benty, constructed by my husband is situated in the middle of elegant properties around, so that no noisy road disturbs this so well kept paradise. You will not easily find a better situation,as there is not the humidity of a house near the beach,but you are there in 10 min walk, by car 5 min.The service of the perfect maid Olga will help to make your stay very comfortable. One level Casa Benty,without steps, is also the ideal house for guests in a wheelchair. You can stay there without car.,as several supermarkets are in 5 min.walk,also restaurants,bars,bank, Casa Benty is nicely hidden in this park,the house cannot be seen from the road (calle de San Rodolfo).As there are no steps,the property is ideal for young and old.,fenced,quiet.,relaxing,beautiful with its tropical garden.

We have an alarm system.The house cannot be seen from the little road San Rodolfo,just the entrance gate.

Maria-José, the perfect maid, 55 comes Mo-Fri 2hrs. during the morning to clean the house and the little guest cottage,to wash and iron for you. She is trustable and works since more than 15 years in casa Benty.The German gardener comes twice each week,looks also after the pool. Guests like to come back every year and wrote 18 reviews in the last 3 years. Outside: Private 50 years old relaxing tropical garden full of flowers in the quiet, best exclusive private villa-area of Marbella, free sea-view to Africa and Gibraltar,also Concha mountain view to N to the National Park . Private German gardener.comes twice each week for the garden and the private pool .The 1200m2 property is AAA located, very safe and fenced in the middle of the surrounding gardens, no disturbing road can be seen.On the terrace is outdoor furniture, BBQ . Privacy, unspoiled view to Africa, Gibraltar, the Concha mountain in the National Park, just 2km away.The private pool about 4x7m2 surrounded by roses and tropical trees full of flowers,lots of different palm-trees.At the entrance you have a Carport for 2 cars under Glycinias. In 5 min. walk you find 3 supermarkets, several busstations, bars, restaurants, banks, shops, tennis, squash, children-playground playground,caves. In 10 min. walk:Golf,10 km sandy beaches, famous old town center, overland bus station Portillo. Utility Room: Part 1: laundry-room with washing machine, dryer, ironing. Part 2: gardener's utilities. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Perfect maid comes 5x2hrs for cleaning, laundry (included). All linen is also included. She changes linen weekly, if dirty, daily.Towels have not to be taken to the beaches! A little bit of paradise! The gardens and pool are

We arrived at Casa Benty early and was met by a wonderful lady called Olga who explained everything we needed to know about the villa. There were just the two of us, myself and my husband staying and I can honestly say we more or less lived outside in the wonderful area of the gardens and the patio. The villa itself is charming with everything you could need in a holiday home - home from home! The property is situated in a lovely residential area where you feel safe, yet close to all amenities. We were delighted to meet the owner, albeit briefly, and would like to thank her personally for the experience. We would recommend this villa and can honestly say two weeks was not long enough, we could have stayed much much longer. We are already looking forward to booking again.

Home owner asked us for Social Security Numbers. Beware of this Owner!

I booked this home in Feb 2017 for a stay in 6/2017. About 25 days before we are to stay here (conveniently inside the 30 day window for cancellations) the owner emails me up saying that she needs copies of passports of all guests, a tax ID number, and to make payment to her German bank directly. A red flag went up to us and we called VRBO about this because we didn't trust the owner. Well, VRBO said we could not do anything until we got to Spain and the house was not available. So we wait until our trip. In the meanwhile, we tell the owner we do not have a tax ID number and she insists on having our social security numbers, which we do not give to her. We finally make it to Spain and the house is pretty much as described. It is not a luxury home and it is too far away to walk to any attractions. You will need a car. Neighborhood is quiet and google maps took us directly there on the first try. We get settled in and it is kind of warm but cooling off. A/C units are mini splits and only in the 2 bedrooms. One of them leaked all over the floor the entire time we were there. The mattresses are not very good at all. Good luck getting a good nights sleep on them. The pans in the kitchen were mostly teflon and were very worn out. The teflon coating actually came off in a paper towel when I wiped it. The yard/garden is beautiful. The pool is nice but a little too cool for swimming in June. The housekeeper did show up the next day (as well as every other day thereafter). She seemed like she was only there to check up on us & multiple times asked us to take things out of the dryer for her or unplug all the water heaters when we left. The 2nd day we were there she came over and called the owner. The owner again demanded a social security number saying she had to have it because it was a new spanish law. What a load of BS. We gave her some random number so she would leave us alone about it. But seriously who demands a social security number for people renting your home in another country? That's ridiculous. I am fairly certain she is scamming some people. Just not sure how she is doing it. Be cautious renting from this owner.

Owner's Response: renter 3365772 Roger D.M. 1) Sorry if there has been a misunderstanding. I have experience in renting out my holiday homes since about 35 years. We always trusted each other. 2) I asked Mr. R.D.M. not to send money to the Spanish bank because it nearly bankrupt and was sold this summer 2017 for 1€ to Banco Santander. For weeks I could not reach the bank. 3) The Spanish government had years of problems with corruption, immigration from Africa and drug dealing. To avoid problems, all guests of hotels and private homes are asked to present copies of their passports and their tax numbers. The home owners are obliged to forward the documents to the local authorities. Home Owners have to be registered by the Tourist office. I got my number 2017. 4) My help for the house Olga (language teacher) and gardener José M. are experienced, well trained, honest, polite, sometimes working more hours than they are obliged to. 5) Mr. R.D.M. has never been asked by me to present his social security number. It has been his idea and he told me not to have a tax number at his age over 65. 6) My late husband constructed about 40 practical elegant villas with gardens between 1200 m2 and 4000 m2. They all have nordic roofs which are protecting against rain and sun, Benty has been his last construction. So I use air condition during the winter in "Benty" and have also planted a dozen high Palm trees to protect the house against summer heat. 7) The air condition did not leak before the arrival of these renters and had to be repaired by a specialist after their departure . Luxurious retreat

Our stay at the Casa Benty was delightful. The accommodations were beautiful combined with an enchanting garden and pool area. The location was ideal. The restaurants, the beach and shopping in Marbella were close by. As well it was a great location to visit some of the local sights for day trips in Grenada, Morocco, Gilbraltr and Ronda. Olga the maid and the gardeners were very responsive to any questions and maintained the property to a high level. We would strongly recommend the Casa Benty and hope to return another time ourselves.

Exclusive sandy beaches in 7-10 minutes walking distance.I prefer the beaches of Club Hotel Marbella, Hotel Puente Romano,or better the sandy dunes eastward, from Rio Real Golf (take old highway 340 to East near the sea) up to Hotel Don Carlos. Near Hotel Monteros drive to beach restaurant Sardinillas (info at the table in my master bedroom).


Malaga Airport (AGP), highway 35-40 minutes (Autopista E 15,tollroad "peage" to Cadiz, 1km after the airport turn right after BMW carshop to the highway! Car hire recommended at Airport Malaga. There is cheap Portillo-Airportbus (45 min.) nonstop to the Portillo Marbella near my house, walk or take a taxi to camino del Pinar, there 2nd little road to the left downward in front of apricot- colored wall of Capricornio (2 gates), Casa Benty's carport with 2 cypresses comes next right side.


Old town of Marbella: Casco Antiguo 10 minutes walk, 5 minutes by car.

Sandy beaches in 7-10 minutes walk, 5 minutes by car.

Puerto Banus 10 minutes by car.

Shops 5 minutes walking, 5 minutes by car (free parking)
