About the property

Villa Nr. Sa Pobla, Pollenca, North Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Views Of The Mountains And Surrounding Villages Very Private And Quiet Easy Access To Seaside Resort

The villa was built to our design with a feature tower copying the local water towers to allow the property to be comfortable in it's country setting, it is in the middle of four acres and very secluded, quiet and private. Views of the mountains and surrounding villages are all around yet it is in easy reach of motorway to Palma and airport just 35 mins drive. Llubi,Sa Pobla and Muro have a railway station with a regular service to Palma, short drive to Pollenca. There are three large supermarkets and several good restaurants and bars, a central square in the centre of the village with free concerts througout the summer, a large street market on Sundays and is a typical Mallorqan Village. Nearby beaches are Port Pollenca, Alcudia, Cala St Vicente and golf courses at Pollenca and Alcanada. The pool is depth marked, with large terraces and sunbeds, extensive lawns and Mediterranean gardens, we offer our villa to you, to enjoy and relax in.

About june russell

My husband and I designed and built the villa ,there were just almond trees on the plot originally,we have left them on the part of the garden not landscaped! We built the villa big enough to accommodate our large family and growing number of grandchildren but as yet they don't seem to be putting it to much use and as we are retired now we use the villa during the year when schools are not on holiday so it makes sense to not leave it empty during these popular times, it was designed for our large family and so far we have been told that the pictures don't do it justice, which is lovely to hear.

june russell purchased this villa in 2002

Why june russell chose Pollensa - Alcudia

Sa Pablo is a very Spanish town, not a tourist trap, our villa is in the country with far reaching views to the mountains and surrounding villages, yet easy reach to the sea, with all the lovey beaches to be found in the north of the island and very easy access to the motorway to the airport and Palma. We also now have a station which trains that take you to the centre of Palma with no parking charges at the station! It is the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday.

What makes this villa unique

While at the villa, you can experience complete peace and quiet even in the peak season or make as much noise as you like without anyone near enough to complain.

Fantastic Villa

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful villa with a fabulous pool. We were there for a girls weekend (4 nights) to celebrate a birthday and the villa provided everything we needed. It was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is in the countryside so secluded, which is great but it means you do need a car to get out and about, we got taxis in and out of Sa Pobla in the evenings which is just a couple of km away. Sa Pobla also has a well stocked supermarket for all provisions.

The owner June was extremely helpful which meant booking was easy and trouble free. She also made some great recommendations for restaurants etc.

We have already talked about a return visit some time in the future!

A beautiful villa with fantastic views.

  • 5 of 5

The villa is clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The gardens are beautiful with a crystal clear pool and great views over farmland and mountains.

This was our first time in Mallorca but the villa was so wonderful we did not really bother with too much exploring of the rest of the island.

Like all the other reviewers we loved our stay at Casa Verde - so much so, we have also booked again for next year!

A Verdant Oasis in a Great Position

  • 5 of 5

I totally agree with JohnH's review from July, 2016.

Like him we are here for the second year running and I have already booked for next year.

June is a delight to deal with - entirely straightforward. I have had to speak with her English friend and found him to be unfailingly helpful.

Casa Verde is a very well equipped, comfortable house just outside Sa Pobla with easy access to the main north/south motorway, Alcudia, Pollenca and the Serra de Tramuntana. Beaches at Platja du Muro are sandy and only 20 minutes away. It is 40 minutes or so to the airport and Palma by car with an hourly train from Sa Pobla to Palma. Three decent supermarkets in the town. My granddaughter has milk and soya allergies - we have coped without difficulty.

It is 37C today - the effective air con is essential in the living room and bedrooms.

The pool is warm, inviting and quite safe for little ones.

The grounds are secluded, green and lush with trees for shade.

Altogether the perfect base for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Beautiful Villa

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for the second year in a row as we enjoyed it so much last year.

The Villa is fantastic, very well designed, large, peaceful and quiet with all the facilities you would expect.

It's in a very quiet rural location which we like, private and not overlooked. The pool is large with a great sitting out area.

The nearby town has 3 supermarkets, a greengrocer and a very nice restaurant so plenty of options.

Wifi is fast and there is Sky TV for the evening. It has everything we needed.

June is very helpful and reliable with the bookings and there is a local English man who can help with any problems - although we have never needed to call him.

A super villa that is highly recommended.

Fantastic from start to finish

  • 5 of 5

We have just had a fantastic 2 week holiday at the Casa Verde. Everything about the place was great, the space, equipment, heated pool (heated if you wanted, and we did) inflatables for the pool which was a huge bonus. Balconies from every bedroom and the views were spectacular.

We wanted a holiday where we could just chill out and that is what we did. Although the villa looked like it was off the beaten track it didn't take long to get anywhere. We visited Palma Alcudia, Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa. We ate in at La Marina restaurant in Sa Pobla and we did most of our shopping in Sa Pobla.

We have stayed in villas in Mallorca before, but this villa could not be faulted and I had very good communications with owner June throughout the whole booking process and even during the holiday which was very reassuring. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for a great stay from all of us.

Beautiful Home in North East Mallorca

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for two weeks with our daughter and four year old granddaughter.

It is in an excellent (if slightly out of the way) location. The dirt drive through the farmyard is a bit of a surprise but leads to a beautiful home in a green oasis.

This is by some measure the best holiday home we have rented in Europe and did exactly what it said on the tin. Very clean on arrival and well equipped.

The owner was extremely helpful when contacted on booking and the English manager in Mallorca was also a great help when dealing with minor niggles [all resolved without difficulty].

The heated pool [well worth the cost] and safe grounds were great for the granddaughter.

Unreservedly recommended.

15 minutes by car from Platja de Muro - a huge stretch of gently shelving sand between Ca'n Picafort and Alcudia. Alcudia and Pollenca are also both easily reached in 15 minutes or so by car.

Supermarkets in nearby town are open on Sundays and are perfectly adequate for stocking up with supplies.

Mister Green restaurant in Sa Pobla was excellent as was dining by the harbour in Port d'Alcudia where Tripadvisor lists a number of well recommended restaurants.

Overall, a complete success [and we will return in future years].
