Can Colom attracts both Winter & Summer clients as it is centrally heated during Winter and fully air conditioned during Summer.

Can Colom has two heated swimming pools that make the Winter, Spring and Autumn weeks even more enjoyable. Surrounding by stunning mountain scenary - Can Colom is ideally suited to all ages and is approx 45 minutes from Palma. Located two minutes from Pollenca and 12 minutes from the resort of Port Pollenca where guests may enjoy a diverse range of holiday activities that the area has to offer.

Nearby you will find the quaint fishing village of Cala San Vicente where you will enjoy the most stunning turquoise waters at either of the two beaches .

If you prefer a long walk along the waterfront then a 20 min car journey to Alcudia will accommodate your energy levels.

You can walk from Port Alcudia along the beautiful beach of Playa de Muro stopping at one of the many shoreline eateries to re-fuel!

The stunning Puig Marie Monastery over looks Can Colom and is one the "must do" things to add to your list of activities.

The restaurant at the top of he Puig Maria serves the most fantastic local food. A Sunday visit serves up the best Paella in the area.

Bedrooms: The Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed with traditional furniture. The fresh white linen is a standard throughout the property. The en-suite bathroom consists of shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Bathroom Two - Has been re-furbished this year (2008). It has a full length bath with overhead shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Kitchen: The kitchen has recently been re-furbished and has oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and cupboard space. There is a traditional stone fireplace that sets the scene for a Winter Holiday. Utility Room: The utility room houses a top loading washing machine. Living Rooms: The spacious lounge is the hub of activities during your holiday. We have Sky TV, WiFi, DVD Player for you to enjoy your favourite TV or Music.

The soft furnishings in the lounge will accommodate six persons.

All linen and towels are included.

The property is cleaned prior to arrival and upon departure. Also on a Saturday should a two week booking be made.

We offer a full Concierge Service including laundry, maid, chef & car rental (not included in price).

Pool heating is charged on a daily basis.

A lovely villa in a lovely area.

My partner and I and his mother stayed at the villa last week. We had a fantastic time, the villa is well appointed and extremely comfortable. The pool was a huge bonus and we used it a lot - what a treat to have a swimming pool and sunbeds to ourselves! The area was really quiet but getting into Pollensa or Puerta Pollensa only took a few minutes in the car. The villa is on one floor so it is very suitable for elderly or disabled people. We have been to Mallorca over a dozen times but this was definitely our best holiday yet - the villa is so comfortable, it is tempting to stay there most of the day and evening and not venture too far! Excellent.

Great location in peaceful setting

Perfect property for a family of 4. Near Pollenca (5 min drive) and within easy reach of 2 big supermarkets, and less than 10 minutes from the motorway. The best thing is the outside space - a real suntrap until 8.30pm with plenty of places to sit - the big daybed is perfect for relaxing with a book and a glass of Mallorcan rose!. The 2 pools are clean and safe - the children loved going in the larger pool with their pool toys and then hopping into the heated spa pool, which was ideal for a late evening dip with another glass of wine!. There is a large grassed area for children to play football and there are gates to shut for extra peace of mind if you feel the need. The owner lives next door and is helpful, with plenty of suggestions as to where to eat. The property is clean with a modern interior and full facilities including English TV. We would certainly recommend this property to others.

The area is very popular with Cyclists, Walkers and Climbers.

Coast/Beach:

Cala Saint Vicente is approx 12 minutes drive from the property. Port Pollenca is approx 15 minutes. By far the best beach in the area is at Playa de Muro. This is about 20 minutes by car but will be the best 20 minutes you will ever spend driving.

The beach is superb with a constant surf when there is a Northerly breeze sweeping into the bay.

There are several beachside eateries all of which are of the highest quality,serving freshly line caught fish on a daily basis.

Further Details:

Pollenca has several banks, a quality deli, traditional fishmongers, butchers and bakeries. There are several supermarkets in Pollensa and Port de Pollensa aswell as two quality deli´s.

Pollensa has resturants to suit all budgets as does Port de Pollensa.

Pollenca town is a place of great cultural interest. There are several galleries, churches and interesting architecture. The Calvary Steps lead to a lovely church at the summit. The Cloisters Arts Centre provides chamber music and is popular with travelling music companies.

There is a Sports Centre and a Gym in the centre of town. At near-by Port Pollenca there are squash courts and indoor swimming pool. Karting is a popular pastime with visitors. There is a fantastic track with "real" carts at Can Piqafort.

If it's water activities you're after then there are all sorts in the area. These range from the Aquapark in Alcudia to boat rentals in Port Pollenca (speak to our guest services) and Catarmaran trips on board Robinson boat in Port Pollenca.

Palma is an amazing City. It is an easy 50 minute drive from Can Colom. The Cathedral is a major tourist attraction not to mention the shopping at Jaime Tres. From Palma you can travel to Soller by train. The route takes you through the orange groves the scent of which is amazing as you hurtle North. On arrival in Soller you can enjoy the town and its pavement cafes before boarding the tram that takes you to the Port of Soller. Here you can relax on the beach or around the harbourside.

Mallorca is famous for its fiestas - further info available upon request at the time of bookming as there are far to many to mention.

August is the largest of all fiestas ."Patrona" attracts people from all over the island and lasts the whole weekend.Many of our repeat guests visit during this fantastic festival.

We request a 25% deposit with the balance falling due six weeks prior to your arrival. We are able to offer our valued guests a Car Hire Booking facility as well as the pre arrival shopping service mentioned earlier.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are a Saturday. Arrivals after 4pm. Departures 11am.
There is flexibility during Winter. Also during Winter the minimum stay is 4 nights.
Should departing guests have a late flight home we allow luggage to be left with us untill 3pm .

  • Notes on accommodation: As well as being fully air conditioned and centrally heated during Winter Can Colom is suitable for all ages but especially for a Family Holiday. Children may play in the garden or swim in one of the two pools whilst parents can supervise from the terrace when enjoying a drink or whilst dining. The property has been described as being "Child Friendly". The grounds are a safe environment and can be accessed from the driveway only. The traditional life that goes on around guests at Can Colom can be very entertaining. Chickens, sheep, cattle, horses and ducks are all part of the tapestry at Can Colom . It is quite unique. It is a tranquil location allowing maximum relaxation. Our guest services will take care of your pre arrival shopping (48hrs notice)excursions and table reservations. Whilst these services are not included in your holiday price, guests have found them very helpful. We use our local knowledge to deliver a be-spoke service to our valued guests. Outside: The swimming pool is the main focus of the garden. It is surrounded by well maintained gardens with hibiscus flowering in season. Around the pool we have quality sun loungers and two large "chill-out" beds with pillows for extreme sun worshipping! The heated spa bath (optional) is very popular and during the evening air you can smell the aromatic herbs that grow in the area directly behind. You can enjoy your own version of a sundowner whilst relaxing in the spa and enjoying the magical mountains as they change colour during sunset. The bbq is close to the dining area and has a large capacity for food preperation. Guests may use charcoal or firewood to fire the bbq. The covered terrace consists of rattan furniture with subtle lighting. Manicured grounds are perfect for young people to play safely. We even have goal posts for the enthusiastic footballers. To the front of the garden we have a hammock that is supported by planting and palm trees to create a truly desert island feel. Utility Room: The utility room houses washing machine and tumbledrier. Also in the utility room you will find the outdoor cushions for the terrace along with the ironing facilities. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are included. Guests are offered a mid stay clean and linen change when booking for two or more weeks.
