This is a lovely modern two bedroom and two bathroom apartment, that is furnished to a high standard with full air-conditioning in an exclusive complex of just 10 others. This quality, ground floor apartment is set amongst landscaped gardens with a large (15m) heated swimming pool, shower and toilets. There are a large choice of restaurants and beaches within a 5-10 minute walk, and literally dozens of other places within a 5-10 minute drive. The apartment is set in a peaceful environment with secure electronic gated entry and videophone access. There is a supermarket, and the local centre is just a 200 metres walk. The large Algarve shopping complex, Zoo Marine (mini Sea World), Aqualand, the marina, harbour and the resort of Albufeira itself can all be easily reached within 10 minutes by car. The apartment can be your home for a quiet relaxing holiday or as your base to see many of the sites and sounds the Algarve has to offer.

Absolutely top quality apartment, tastefully furnished, very clean, terrace overlooks the pool, lovely well kept surroundings. Very relaxing, situated in a quiet residential area, ideal for a quiet holiday. The pics on this website don't do it justice and need to be updated to reflect how nice it all is.

Plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby, within easy walking distance. Taxi to Albufeira is about 10 euros, our one took exactly 8 minutes to get to the Old Town! This is where it all happens, if that's what you are after. I highly recommend the apartment and the complex it is on - you won't be disappointed. Lynda & Bill

Location

From the Owner

We fell in love with this area due to the peaceful surroundings that are so unspoilt. The beach being within walking distance is a definite bonus along with local supermarkets. A car is useful but not necessary. We love bird watching and the local bird life at Salgados nature reserve is well worth a look.

Coast/Beach:

The Algarve is renowned for its fabulous climate with 300 days of Sun per year, and its beautiful beaches. The Gale area has a number of beaches to choose from, within a 10 minute walk, including the large 5 mile Gale beach, but also quaint and quiet beaches such as Castello and Lorenco's. Gale beach is has a wealth of facilities with 3 beach restaurants right on the beach to choose from. The amazing sunsets, whilst having a meal and a glass or three are absolutely breathtaking.

Travel:

The apartment is a 30 minute drive from Faro Airport. We are very happy to arrange car hire, or collection/return from the airport.

Distances:

The resort of Albufeira is the nearest main town and is 10 minutes away by car. There are really two parts to this resort, the Old Town and the Resort. The Old Town is quaint, historic and makes a great place for a meal, especially in one of the numerous beach restaurants. The resort has over a hundred restaurants and bars. Zoo marine, Aqualand and Algarve shopping are all within a 10 minute drive. Guia is the very local town, about 1 mile away which has 30+ restaurants.

Further Details:

For those of us who do not wish to drive, after all you are on holiday, the apartment is well situated with several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Information reading these will be within the apartment. A supermarket is only a 3 minute walk and this will provide for your every day essentials. It also has a cash machine and telephone. There is also a patisserie, laundrette and hairdressers within a 3 minute walk. The large shopping centre is called Algarve shopping and has over 100+ shops, as well as ten-pin bowling and a large cinema complex, which has films in English.

Booking Notes:
A security deposit of £100 for breakages will also be required 6 weeks before departure. This will be returned once the apartment has been inspected and cleaning has taken place. We have a list of full terms and conditions that we will send to you before you commence with the booking. Acceptance of the deposit is evidence that the conditions have been read and agreed upon.

Changeover Day:
With the number of low-cost flights available nowadays, we do not have a set changeover day. If you don't wish to book a full week or fortnight you can book a specific number of days. We can normally cater for this requirement but 4 days is the minimum.

We require a 20% deposit to secure the booking which can be payable either directly to us by bank transfer or by cheque. The balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the booking.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

  • The apartment has full air-conditioning installed, which has an alternative cycle for heat, but this will only be required if stay in Winter. Sunbeds are provided for use in the pool area.
