Cottage in Swanage, Dorset - Ideal Location, Few Minutes from the Beach

Sleeps 8, this comfortable Victorian cottage with many original features provides accommodation over 3 floors. On the ground floor is the lounge and kitchen/diner with french doors to the courtyard. The first floor has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower over the bath and also a separate shower room. The top floor contains two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds. Perfectly situated just a few minutes walk to the sandy beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. Sunny courtyard garden with table and chairs for 8 and a BBQ. No pets/no smoking house.

Great house in perfect location. Tastefully renovated and ideal for our family.

Generous accommodation for 6 adults and 1 child. All the rooms were more than adequate for our needs. The kitchen was really well equipped and being so close to shops and pier, this is a great holiday home. We could always find car parking in local roads. Over the many years we have been coming to Swanage all the family agreed this was our best holiday home yet.

Fantastic holiday home

Right in the heart of swanage, this beautiful 4 bedroom house is a 3 minute walk to the sea and sand.

Beautifully decorated, with every comfort thought of. Games and DVDs although we never used them.

Garden patio perfect for 8 with charcoal bbq. There's even a little shed with beach boards, bats and windbreaker you can borrow. Maybe previous holidayers have left these but they were a great find. My 5 yr old loved the little surf board in the sea.

Parking no issue. Was always able to find 2 spaces sometimes we needed 3. Only a 5 minute walk away. I even got food delivered for the first afternoon from sainsburys so was much easier for us.

Chilled Red is a must for fine diners!

Location

Special interest holidays:

The area around Swanage and the Purbecks is an ideal location for those who enjoy walking, cycling or climbing. It is also ideal for fishing, there is beach and pier fishing as well as boat trips and mackerel trips. Swanage and Studland bay are very popular for all watersports. Swanage bay is very busy with boats ranging from jet-skis to Sunseekers. Once every year at the end of July Swanage comes alive as the carnival comes to town and is also a host to a wide variety of festivals throughout the year.

Coast/Beach:

The cottage is located within a few minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach.
