Stunning 3 bed luxury ground floor apartment just a short walk from the Tivoli Hotel, the lively marina, old town and various beaches. The spacious apartment has free wireless, full air-conditioning with 2 large secure patios – 1 BBQ dining patio and 1 large patio which benefits from the sun for most of the day, and well into the evening. Overlooking the pool and communal grounds, the property is secure with a video entry system, additional bolt locks to all patio doors and key entry required to the pool area. A car is not essential with the bus and train stations within short walking distance. However, there is an allocated secure parking space in the basement if you do hire a car. There are several fantastic golf courses within a 15 minute drive including Boa Vista, Palamres and Penina.

About the Owner

My family have lived on the Algarve for over 20 years, which helped me when deciding to buy the apartment. Lagos is the ideal holiday location for visiting Portugal, it has the right blend of high standard tourism (marina, golf) whilst maintaining it's historic and natural attractions (beaches and old town). With two young children we have enjoyed this blend, although any type of holidaying group will find something in Lagos to enjoy.

Great Holiday Perfect Property

We have now stayed at this property twice and always had a great holiday. Once with the family and once with a group of friends. The apartment & complex has everything you will need for a great family holiday. The apartment was decorated to a high standard, was spotless clean and very well-maintained. It has two balconies one with a BBQ and great dining area, spent many an evening chilling here. The other for all day sunbathing.

The complex has a great shared pool, small playground and a small gym. Also a fab café opposite great for breakfast or an ice cold beer. Also shopping market within a 5 min walk. I fact after your transfer from the airport you have no need for car.

The complex is very secure and safe for children.

Lagos is a fab place with a good mixture of locals and holidaymakers. The two beaches are lovely, and some good beach bars. Sunday night at Bahia beach bar is a must. The tapas worth a tasting. Some great places to eat in the Old town.

I would highly recommend this property and the area of Lagos to anyone you won’t regret it.

I know we will be back again soon.

Brilliant

We've been back 6 times now! We've been every year with the family for the past few years and the apartment caters fantastically for kids of all ages. But Lagos is a great spot for an adult break too, which is why we booked this place for a week with friends earlier this year, comfortable for 6 adults.

The apartment is clean, well run (any time we've had any small problem the management co have sorted it immediately) and has everything you could reasonably want from a holiday apartment.

We recently bought the flat because of it's location and build quality, something our guest comments support. The standard of finish and size of rooms has exceeded our expectations, my wife is always seems to point out how much nicer the kitchen is than the one at home!

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

We have welcomed numerous groups of surfers who have enjoyed the accommodation with it's excellent access to popular surf spots and Lagos attractions.

Coast/Beach:

15 minute walk to Batata beach and the stunning 6km Meia Praia which hosts numerous excellent beach bars -Sunday night at Bahia bar a must ! The picturesque resorts of Porto de Mos and Praia Dona Ana are just a short 5 minute drive. Also within a short drive are fantastic beaches of Burgau, Sagres and the west coast.

Travel:

45 minute drive from Faro airport. Transfers or competitive car hire is available from the airport and can be arranged on your behalf. Whilst car hire is not essential with the bus station a 2 minute walk and the train station a 10 minute walk, it is recommended if you wish to explore the amazing famous Algarve coastline or venture inland to the Monchique mountains.

Distances:

Central Lagos location, walking times are 5 minutes from the Marina, immediate access to cafes and restaurants with the old town a 10 minute walk.

Further Details:

The area is packed with a broad range of restaurants, bars and shops. There are many tourist attractions within a 30 minute drive: Zoo Marina, water slide parks (including Slide and Splash, and the Big One), crazy golf, go-carting to name a few.

Departure time is usually 10am and check in time is from 3pm. We will be as flexible as we can be with these times but these obviously need to be fitted in with other reservations.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has proven extremely popular with various holidaying groups looking for either a central location for Lagos attractions or a secure child friendly environment. We have satellite TV and wireless broadband for internet connectivity. The apartment is fully air conditioned that can also be used as heaters in the winter. We include use of child accessories (cot, high chair, rocker chair, activity mat) Outside: The apartment has 2 large private patios which both benefit from the sun for the majority of the day and well into the evening. The dining patio has a built in BBQ, table and padded chairs. The larger patio has 4 sun loungers, umbrella, large table and chairs. This patio is particularly spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play with a paddling pool. Both overlook the landscaped communal grounds with a large shared swimming pool (only accessible by key entry) and children's play area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, with a mid stay clean for bookings of 2 weeks bookings (included in the booking fee). Parties over 6 persons, will incur a charge of 10 euros per person. Exceptional agent service is provided for queries with apartment. Other: There is a private secure garage for the exclusive use of our guests, which can be made available by special arrangement.
