Activity and Interests


The Villa is situated near to some stunning beaches with the nearest, Centianes and Carvalho being approx 10 mins walk away. 5 mins by car are Praia de Marina, Benagil and Albandera beaches. Most operate beach bars in summer. There are many more beautiful beaches to visit further afield, providing windsurfing, waterskiing, jet skiing etc with the unspoilt West Coast recommended.

The local coastline is spectacular and offers some of the best cliff walks in the Algarve with stunning views.


Clube Golfemar is a 45 minute drive from Faro International Airport along the paid toll motorway. Car hire is recommended and is bookable in advance. If required, transfers from Faro airport can be arranged via the Internet but taxis are plentiful and still reasonably cheap. If hiring a car you will need to carry your British passport, current driving licence and car rental document papers with you at all times.


The villa is a 4 mins walk to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops. Rocha Brava tennis centre is only 250m away. Vale do Milho Golf is also walkable distance away. The waterparks, Slide and Splash and Aqualand, are 3km - 4km away. Zoomarine theme park where you can interact and swim with dolphins, watch performing seal lions, enjoy a falconry display, be amazed by the 4D cinema amongst other activities is about 20 mins by car. The historic cities of Lagos and Silves are 30 minutes.

Further Details:

Carvoeiro has an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops that sell everything that you could possibly need, there are banks, cash withdrawal machines and 2 large supermarkets in the direction of Lagoa. Algarve Shopping, with its mix of Portuguese high street outlets, food court, multiplex cinema and bowling alley is approximately 20 mins drive. Whilst Portuguese prices are still approx a third cheaper, the exchange rate has slightly shifted the balance so be prepared to pay slightly more than in previous years.

Booking Notes:
A holding deposit of £100 is required to reserve your booking. This is non refundable. A security deposit of £100 is required pre-paid for any breakages or damage which shall be fully refunded on your return from holiday, a cheque will be sent to your home address. The balance and full payment is required no less than 8 weeks prior to your departure date.

Changeover Day:
Usually Thursday or Saturday depending on bookings but also flexible where at all possible, please email with any special requests. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out 10am. Food pack for late flight arrivals provided upon request, charged back to client.

Notes on prices:
Prices quoted are per week and are payable in UK Pounds sterling.
Please enquire about any special rates for long term bookings and last minute offers. Air conditioning to the value of £40.00 per week is included in the rental price and is prepaid onto the meter. If additional credit is required, this is payable as a chargeable extra.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is well furnished and is protected by electric roller shutters, providing welcome security. Each shutter can be individually controlled and easily closed on departure due to the central switch by the alarm panel in the hallway. Dimmer switches are installed in all rooms to create a soft ambience when required. There are air conditioning units in both bedrooms and the sitting room which can be used as additional heating units in the winter. A log burning fire is located in the sitting room. Hairdryer provided. Outside: Leading off from the sitting room and master bedroom terraces, the villa has a small private south facing lawned area, bordered by a hedge, overlooking the spacious communal gardens. There is also a roof terrace with panoramic sea views sweeping across from Lagos to Armação de Pêra. 3 comfortable loungers and foam sun mats are available. A freestanding barbecue and outdoor table with 4 chairs are also included. Utility Room: Hot water tank, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and barbecue. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bath towels and bed linen are provided - duvets in winter with sheets and counterpanes for the warmer months. Guests are responsible for bringing their own beach/pool towels. Towels changed midweek with full linen change once a week. Other: Entrance hall leading into main sitting room with security alarm panel and master electronic security shutter control. Covered entrance porch with light to front door.
