GENEROUS AND SPACIOUS

Everything is full size and spacious. Nothing feels cramped. Bedrooms are big, have large built in double wardrobes. En-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own terrace. Both (outside and inside) dining areas seat eight people.

LOCATION

Not having to use a car enhances the holiday experience by 100%. To be able to walk to the bakery in the morning, to walk home after a nice meal in a restaurant followed by a drink on the square and to walk to and from the beach is just fantastic. Pools are only at 150m.

Privacy and space of a villa with facilities of a resort- bliss!

Bliss having the privacy and space of a villa with the facilities of a resort. We all loved the pool area and the games room up at the hotel and the peaceful sitting on the balcony with the views over the river at the villa. Beds super comfortable and although it was extremely hot while we were there the ac did a great job of keeping us cool. Although there is no ac in the downstairs bedrooms they were a little cooler anyway so the kids didn't seem to mind. Villa very well knitted out and we didn't come across anything we needed that we couldn't find (even had egg cups which no other villa we stayed at has had!)

Boys loved the beach at canerios, fab waves for body boarding and on calmer days good for snorkelling although parking there can be tricky.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the villa and loved exploring this area of Portugal.

Fantastic

My wife and I stayed at this apartment 13 June 2013 for 5 nights. It was fantastic! We are looking to re-book. We are picky folk, this was our third trip to Ferragudo and first stay here but no means our last. The house is in an ideal location, the views are great and very well equipped inside, clean and spacious. The BBQ was damaged and the toaster didn’t work. Previous guests? Both were immediately replace by Sergio. We liaised with the owner several times by email prior to our visit and found him efficient and helpful. We would recommend this place to our friends and family.

Lovely house in the heart of Ferrugado

Trendy split level house in the heart of Ferrugado, walking distance to the beach and to the village square. The house is situated opposite Vitors Village and the pool area was clean and well maintained. The house was very clean, and well equipped. The oven temperature didn't work well, and a microwave would have been better. The house bathrooms are also well equipped with up to date fittings. The BBQ worked a treat. The house comes with Sat TV and free broadband which was a hit with our teenager. There is a supermarket nearby and the village square is alive with nice restaurants in the evenings. Ferragudo beach is wonderful, and the sunbeds were cheap in comparison to other European beaches. Eating out was not cheap, and on average we spent approx 100 euros a night for 3 adults. Cairvero (12 minutes by car) is a very busy town, with nightlife and shops should you need it. Shopping in PortiMao was also very good. Taxis are not easy to find, so if you want to travel outside of Ferrugado you would need a car. We visited most of the nearby golf courses and found 18 holes of golf to be really cheap compared to other areas. Gramacho and Vale de Pinta were Euros55 a round in August outside of the golf season. In summary we gave this townhouse 4 star out of 5 as it was a pleasant surprise at the size of the rooms, and the excellent service given by the owner.

Very pleasant house

Very pleasant house. Fully equipped and very clean. Bigger than expected. Lovely view over the river Arade and not overlooked. Wonderful agent (lives next door) who was extremely helpful. Hotel pass provided which gives free access to the hotel pools and 10% discount on restaurant and bar. Loads of lovely restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Everything you need for a great holiday

What lovely house, fantastic pools and sunbathing area at the hotel. The house comes with everything you need for a great holiday. Some great local beaches within walking distance and some really good local restaurants. The nearby village\town (less then 10 minutes walk)is very pretty and a has a lovely square full of good value restaurants and great for people watching. I would recommend the villa to anyone.
