Villa in Pollensa, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Extremely Peaceful Location just 500m from Pollensa Golf Club

Our lovely Mallorquin country home sleeps six people comfortably. The private pool (8x4m) is set in a pretty, mature garden complete with a shower room and an outdoor kitchen with a built in barbecue, a gas hob, a wood burning stove and a covered porch for you to enjoy your meals alfresco. Situated close to the golf course in a much sought after area of Pollensa, thanks to the tranquillity and beauty of the surrounding countryside. At the rear of the house there is a courtyard, at the front of the house is the pool with a garden area and shady covered porches. There are sun loungers around the pool, a swing/sofa with a canopy plus teak garden dining furniture. The house is easy to find, as it is right next door to the Pollensa Golf course that also has a top quality restaurant and bar within walking distance from the villa. The property enjoys lovely open views. A perfect place for a family holiday or for a group of friends looking for a peaceful, private location.

About Juana Serra Frontera

We are a local Mallorquin couple from the area of Pollensa, we have lived here all our lives and love for people to come and enjoy our home and the area we were brought up in and love.

We are always available for guests, although we are never intrusive, for local information, if we can be of any help at all we are only at the end of a phone.

Why Juana Serra Frontera chose Pollença District

We inherited the finca from our parents, which is one of the reasons we love it so much. We reformed the house in order to live their ourselves but for work reasons we now live in the port. We decided to live at the house ourselves as the area of Marina is beautiful, very peaceful yet close to town.

What makes this villa unique

Whilst living at the house we had frequent barbecues as the outdoor kitchen is perfect for entertaining friends, people love the wide open space of the garden, pool and dining area.

The house is right next door to Pollensa golf course.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: We think that our property is suitable for children as there is plenty of outdoor space for them to play. We think that it is also adequate for elderly people as there is a bedroom on the ground floor and a shower room with an easily accessible shower stall. Our Property is easily accessible, close to Pollensa golf, with good roads and close to local amenities. There is an excellent restaurant and bar within walking distance at the golf club. We are readily available for guests during their stay. Outside: We have a lovely garden area surrounding the private pool for sole use of the clients. The pool is 8.5m x 4.5m. In the extended garden there are fruit trees and the drive that leads to the house. By the side of the pool there is a covered kitchen and patio area equipped with a gas hob, basins with fresh well water, a fridge, a built in barbecue, a wood burning stove and a dining area. In the pool area there is also a shower room and wc, a basketball hoop and sun loungers. The house is perfect for those that wish to spend their holidays in the open air thanks to the garden and outside area and yet it is cosy, welcoming and peaceful during the cooler months. Utility Room: Separate laundry room with washing machine, wash basin, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The bedlinen and towels are changed on Saturdays. The towels are changed again on a Wednesday, the property is cleaned every Wednesday and Saturday. The pool is checked on a daily basis. Other: The two bedrooms on the upper level have hot/cold air conditioning, the bedroom on the lower floor doesn't but we provide radiators during the winter season and fans during the summer months. All of the bedrooms have a balcony with lovely views.

Beautiful, traditional Majorcan Villa - perfect for our family

Lovely villa, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Stayed for 10 nights and party consisted of 5 adults, a 3 year old, 1 year old and 3 month old baby.

On arrival we were greeted by Juana and Antonio and shown around. The photos really don't do the villa justice so we were even happier. The outdoor space is amazing, with gas hob, wood fire oven, and BBQ and everything else you need in a kitchen. The table tennis table was an added bonus as we must have missed it on the description, along with pool towels and fresh bath towels half way through the holiday.

Location is perfect if you have a car, quiet and secluded with no over lookers. Short 3 min drive to Pollensa and a further 10 mins to Puerto Pollensa which are both gorgeous. The Sunday market in Pollensa is well worth a visit as is Il Giardino restaurant.

We would definitely recommend this villa for any family looking for a relaxing, villa holiday.

The perfect location for those wanting to use the golf course regularly during their stay as it is so close to the villa.

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful sandy beaches of Cala San Vicente are just 7km away and the popular, pretty beaches of Puerto Pollensa approximately 10km. There is plenty to do water skiing, boat hire, boat excursions, wind surfing, fun rides, pedalos. Also a perfect location for keen bird watchers, cyclists and walking enthusiasts.

Travel:

Son San Juan is the nearest airport, it is 70km away, it takes less than 45 minutes by car. You will need a car to get to the villa.

Distances:

Soller 60km. Palma 70km. Pollensa golf club and restaurant 900m. Pollensa 3km. Supermarket 3km. Puerto Alcudia 15km.

Puerto Pollensa 10km. Formentor beach 15km. Valldemosa 70-80km approx.

Further Details:

Pollensa town is always worth a visit with many local art galleries, art and craft shops, great restaurants and very pretty scenery. It is a town steeped in history, enjoy the hustle bustle of the local market on a Sunday morning, you will see it is a town with a fabulous atmosphere. Puerto Pollensa is a fishing resort that is really worth a visit, the market is on a wednesday morning. There are many restaurants, shops, supermarkets, you will also find some night life during the Summer months. For those wanting to see other villages Sineu is very pretty, there you can easily savour authentic mallorquin food, as you can in the village of Sa Pobla which is just a fifteen minute drive away.

Booking Notes:
To book you will need to enquire via email or telephone. You will need to send your booking in writing via email and confirm the booking by paying a 30% deposit. The balance should be paid on the day of arrival in exchange for the keys. We will meet our visitors to show them the house and we are available for any queries or information during their holiday.

Changeover Day:
We are flexible on arrival days, please enquire. Arrival 1400 hours and departure 10am, although again we are flexible on this point, we try to be accommodating, we only ask people to leave at 10am if we need to prepare the property for incoming guests.

Notes on prices:
Due to the current financial situation all over Europe we have decided to reduce the price of our villa. We ask for a refundable deposit for breakages of 150€.
Prices for the property are per week in euros.
