About the Owner

We are a family, who love holidaying in the Algarve and in particular Carvoeiro, we have made so many friends since we bought the apartment and we have made it our home away from home, having refurbished it to a lovely standard for us to enjoy and to enjoy with our holiday makers too, who want something similar to what they have at home to. Please feel free to ask for any special requests and we will try our utmost to deliver this!

It is a property that is on a Golf Resort, that can be a relaxing place to be, with the pool 200 metres away and the Clubhouse being 300 metres away, it is just lovely, but the location, to get you to beaches and restaurants within 10-15 minutes of the apartment is just great and local taxis are a plenty, we even have our own taxi driver for the months of July and August, he has been amazing for us to be honest. So all in all a good location to be in, whn you can dine out or BBQ in or stroll over to the clubhouse restaurant for dinner. The Choice is yours...

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is only 5 minutes drive to the beautiful fishing village of Carvoeiro with its lovely beach and excellent choice of bars and restaurants. There are also numerous beaches within a 10 -15 minute drive away.

Travel:

The apartment is located just 40 minutes from Faro Airport and car hire is recommended.

Distances:

Sesmarias is just two minutes away, 5 minutes to Carvoeiro and Ferragudo is 10 minutes with the medieval town of Silves a 15 minute drive.

Further Details:

Carvoeiro is a lovely village with many bars and restaurants to choose from, some of them being located in the square (with nightly entertainment depending on the time of year) overlooking the beach. The nearest large supermarket (Jumbo, Pao de Acucar) is 2 minutes away from the apartment. The nearest Water park, Slide and Splash, is 5 minutes away by car.

The club house serves snacks and drinks during the day and in the evening it serves an "a la carte" menu, which is very reasonable and of a very good standard.

Booking Notes:
Bookings can be made by contacting Joanne Spencer on numbers provided. A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking (this is non-refundable) with the balance being due 8 weeks prior to departure. Also a deposit of £100 is required against any breakages/damage and will be returned to you once you have returned home when the apartment has been checked by the management company.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Thursdays where possible, however, we are very flexible so please ask for availability. Arrival times are from 3.00pm and departure time is 11.00am. Again these can be flexible. Please ask and if we can accommodate this then we will try.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Nightly rates can be discussed.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for 5 people plus a baby/toddler. Full central heating with air-conditioning to lounge and both bedrooms. Both bedrooms include ceiling fans and have French doors with Juliette balconies. Log burning fire in the lounge. Barbecue is situated on the balcony and there is a table and six chairs on the balcony and also two sun loungers with cushions for all located inside the wardrobe in the main bedroom. A well equipped kitchen with all utensils provided. A safe is provided for your use and is located in the wardrobe of the main bedroom. There is also Wi-Fi access from the apartment and Sky TV. Outside: There are lovely communal gardens and swimming pool with limited access for the use of guests staying in the immediate properties. There is a barbecue on the balcony and outside furniture. Barbecues are only allowed on the balcony and not in communal areas. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and hand, bath and pool towels are included during your stay, (changed weekly).
