Our luxurious 3 bedroom (newly refurbished inside and out), with private pool, and a secluded beach on your doorstep. The picturesque village of Pervolia is within strolling distance and all local amenities/facilities are to hand. This comfortable, modern and elegantly furnished villa is situated in a securely gated complex with private car parking, has 2 double bedrooms (1 with en suite), both rooms enjoying balcony terraces, a family bathroom and downstairs shower room. Downstairs comprises an open plan Lounge, Dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is air-conditioning throughout, TV/DVD.

Outside features a swimming pool (sun all day), large patio areas, a dining area, table, chairs, sun loungers and parasol. The perfect villa, with all the mod cons, swimming pool and the sea on your doorstep.

Relaxing and lovely

The villa was very comfortable and clean with Air Condition everywhere, big Tv and a washing machine which was very helpful. There are 3 bathrooms which for the company of 6 girls that we stayed there meant no queue at any time. The swimming pool was lovely and it was really nice sitting by at night watching the full moon having drinks and talking. There is a gorgeous sandy beach at 5 min walking distance from the house with clear blue waters which were warm even though it was September. On the way to the beach, there is also a lovely bar-restaurant ( "Dipato") open all day long and late night with a beautiful sea-view where we had great food and many drinks.

We really enjoyed our stay, had a great time, loved Cyprus and Serenity villa 5!

Perfect stay

We had a great time at this villa. The location is perfect and it has all the amenities you need. Everything was clean and clearly maintained well. The pool is a good size and 3 bathrooms is a great bonus. Good to have the air con - wasn't as necessary wen we stayed but a must in the Summer I would imagine. Would happily stay again.

How to unwind...

We returned to Pervolia where we've holidayed twice before in larger villas, this time fewer people meant a smaller villa and we noticed this comparative lack of space immediately. However, this is a comfortable, well located villa with the luxury of a pool (which was regularly maintained) for cooling off. The intermittent noise from the main road on which the villa is located could be disturbing at times when sunbathing but this was countered by the fact that the garden gate opened to the road, across which was the sea within a minute's walk which was very handy. The "caretakers" told us there had been some local flooding earlier in the season and we think some of the kitchen units have been badly damaged by this and need replacing - the corner unit especially has a rotten, "decaying" smell when opened, the dishwasher door is difficult to open and the fridge is not really cold enough. The blind in one of the bedrooms was broken before we arrived and although someone came to fix it 3 times, each time he brought the wrong part - it remained broken and impossible to open throughout our stay.

The weather was, as usual, perfect for us sunworshippers and the air conditioning cooled the villa quickly; however, this is the first time we have encountered a 2-hour timer on air conditioning and this caused some uncomfortable nights when the humidity was extreme - we would have preferred air-con with a "sleep mode" programme. Luckily, there were no electricity cuts while we were out there which we have experienced before and water was in plentiful supply. Having three bathrooms is a real boost as we didn't have to queue for ages when getting ready to go out.

The villa's location is perfect for exploring anywhere on the island and although near the airport, is not affected by aeroplane noise at all - a car is needed, especially in the summer as the nearest provisions are a mile away.

We felt safe and secure in the complex and the time went too quickly - one improvement which would really help would be to have wi-fi available.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest secluded beach is a 2 minute walk. This is a pebble beach, with a sandy beach available a further 5 min walk along the beautiful headland, or around the shoreline. Plenty of other beaches are accessible by short drive. There is also a large beach and marina in Larnaca 15 mins drive from the villa.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Larnaca, just a 10 min drive from Blue Serenity. Car hire is not necessary if planning a truly relaxing holiday by the pool and strolling on the beach. If you would like to get out and explore the island a little then car hire is recommended. This can be arranged in advance from a variety of companies at the airport, or on a daily basis from a local company in Pervolia which can be arranged by our managing agent who will meet you on arrival.

Distances:

The nearest mini-market shop stocking all your basic requirements from milk and cereal to charcoal and wine, is a 3 minute drive/10 minute walk from the villa. The centre of Pervolia with its tavernas and shops is 1.5 miles away, so a very short drive or leisurely stroll. A wider selection of shops, bars and restaurants is available 7 miles away in Larnaca. Our management company are on call 24/7 for you convenience.

A provisional booking may be made by email or telephone. This will be held for 7 days to allow receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit to be made by cheque or BACS. The balance payment is to be made by cheque or BACS a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A refundable breakages/damages deposit of £250 is required with all bookings, payable before arrival and refunded within 2 weeks of departure, less any deductions for losses, damage or breakages.

Changeover Day:

  • Notes on accommodation: All rooms have a dual air-conditioning/heating system to achieve the perfect temperature. Blackout blinds are fitted to keep the rooms cool in the heat of the day and to ensure a good nights sleep. Strictly No smoking is permitted in the villa at any time. Outside smoking is down to occupants to discard cigarette butts. Outside: The outside space of the villa is designed with your comfort, enjoyment and safety in mind, with its own private walled garden, private parking and gated access on a small gated development. The majority of the garden is paved, but has a pleasant mixture of tropical plants to create a truly relaxing setting. The main feature of the garden is the private swimming pool to splash away the days in the sunshine. We strongly advise No Sun OIL in the pool as this can damage the pool filter and pump. If you prefer to relax whilst keeping a keen eye on the children, there are 4 sun loungers, patio table, 6 chairs, parasol - plus of course a BBQ so you can enjoy alfresco dining. (BBQ to be cleaned after use by occupants). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included in the price. The property will be cleaned before arrival.
