Praia Village is a new (2008) private development located in a quiet area of Vilamoura. Benefiting from a fantastic location; only a 20 minute walk to the world renowned marina which has many restaurants, bars and boutiques for those wanting a busier day! or 15 minutes to a beautiful blue flag beach at Falesia! or a short trip to one of the 5 championship18-hole golf courses in Vilamoura! AP has 1 en-suite and 1 bathroom, which is on the 2nd floor (top) of the complex, Z has 2 en-suites and 1 bathroom which is on the 1st floor. Both are granted access either by lift or stairs. The complex is fully fenced with access through electric gates and has underground car parking. The apartments have all the mod-cons necessary to make for a very very comfortable stay, featuring air-conditioning throughout, jacuzzi baths, fully equipped modern kitchens, shared garden and heated pool with children's section/outside showers.

Living Rooms: lounge with 2 x 2-seater leather sofas, dining area within the lounge with table and chairs to seat 6. TV/FreeviewSky, DVD player. Radio.

Other: outside balcony, with table and chairs to seat 4, overlooking the communal swimming pool.

linen/maid service: apartment towels/linen are provided, but not beach towels.

Apartment is cleaned once per week, however if more visits are required then this can be arranged.

Fabulous Apartment

My husband and I have been going to Portugal for many years and this apartment was one of the best we have stayed in by far. It was located within a first class complex with a great swimming pool and only a short distance to the many amenities Vilamoura has to offer. Great beaches, fantastic restaurants and friendly local people. The apartment itself was modern, clean and well maintained and decorated. The owner John provided an excellent service, hassle free. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and hope to stay there again soon. Thanks again John.

Location

I have always been interested in buying somewhere abroad, and in 2007, with two close friends, we went out to Portugal to look at some properties to potentially buy. After our first day of looking, we fell in love with Praia Village, and by 7pm that night we had purchased two properties. Praia Village is in an excellent area, just far enough from the excitement of the Marina, but also close enough to enjoy the 15min walk to all the lovely Restaurants and Shops that the Marina provides. We are a 10min walk away from the nearest store, or a 3 min cab ride away to the main store, or the Marina. We are also a 15min walk away from the excellent sandy Feleshia Beach.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Beautiful clean Falesia beach is located within 15 minutes walk from the apartment. There are several restaurants on the beach and sun loungers and umbrellas may be rented. Vilamoura beach is only a 10 min walk away, via the marina.

Travel:

Faro International Airport is 20km away.

Distances:

Vilamoura is a huge privately constructed resort in the centre of the Algarve coast. The resort complex surrounds a 1,000-berth marina and boasts a wide range of facilities including hotels, restaurants, shops and a casino. Nearby is the town of Loule, which boasts a Moorish castle and 13th century church.

Further Details:

Supermarket within 10 minutes walking distance, as is Mini-Golf.

We also have another apartment in the complex which can sleep up to 6 people if you are interested in trying to book for a larger group, please contact us for further details.

N.B. An extra 30 euros will be charged for out of hours call out or meet and greet between:

The rates have been calculated weekly for your convenience. Verbal bookings will be held for 7 days. 25% non-refundable deposit to be paid to secure each booking. Balance will be due 8 weeks prior to arrival date. If booking is made 8 weeks or less before intended arrival date a full payment will be required. Refundable key and breakages deposit of £150 (per booking) will be payable with the balance, this bond will be refunded within 14 days subject to the apartment check. Payment: UK £ or euros

Notes on prices:
Prices based on weekly rentals, however, in all non-high season months we will consider shorter letting periods.
For January, February & March, book for as little as £20 per night + Cleaning Fee.
For April 2015, book for £25 per night + Cleaning Fee.

100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.

From the Owner

As a Family, we try and go out at least once a year during the Summer Holidays, it now feels like a second home to us, and the girls enjoy themselves so much, making them feel safe in the environment of Praia Village. I also try to get out to Praia Village once a year with the lads and have a long weekend, maybe playing golf, or just sitting on the Marina all day in the sun, watching the world go by with a nice cold drink in my hand.
