Apartment in Venice, Veneto, Italy, located on the 2nd Floor of a listed 18th Century Building

The apartment is on the second floor of a listed 18th-century building, in front of the Church of Santa Margherita. There are traditional Venetian terrazzo floors and wood-beamed ceilings throughout. The apartment was recently renovated to a very high standard, and is beautifully furnished with antiques. Venice is a medieval high rise city, and most apartments look onto a narrow street. This apartment is gloriously sunny, since all the rooms except for the bathrooms look south across the campo. This long courtyard is the social heart of the Dorsoduro district of Venice. The buildings encircling the campo, some dating back to the 14th century, are a mix of private residences, restaurants, bars, a weekday market with flowers and produce, and off-beat shops that provide interest throughout the day. The nearby university adds vitality. A spot for locals rather than for tourists, the Campo Santa Margherita feels a long way from the souvenir shops and trinket vendors around Piazza San Marco.

Immaculate apartment in great location

This is a stunning apartment in a great central location. It is extremely tastefully decorated and equipped, immaculately clean and very spacious. We found it exceptionally convenient for meeting up with friends. Not for those who want it to be quiet, as the Campo is busy in the evening. Can thoroughly recommend.

Changeover normally Saturday, but flexible, especially for longer stays.

These prices do not include certain weeks in the year, e.g. New Year, first week of the Biennale, etc. Prices are per week in euros and are valid until 1 January 2015. They include utilities and cleaning. There are no hidden extras. Discounts are negotiable for longer lets.
