Large, comfortable and beautifully presented

Loved the stay at this townhouse, everything was immaculately presented for our arrival. We were lucky to enjoy fabulous weather and the Religious Procession and Fiesta were memorable. Good meals enjoyed at the Chiringuitos on the beach and everyone was so friendly and very patient with our 'pidgin Spanish and gesticulations'! Four big supermarkets provide any provisions required but beware they do not open on Sundays. Thanks for sharing your lovely home for our 10 days!

Fantastic holiday home

I had a wonderful stay in this beautifully traditional Spanish home. The property was very comfortable, spacious and spotless and had everything you would need for a week away. The views are spectacular out to the mountains and out to the sea. Evening drinks on the roof terrace is a must. I could not recommend the property highly enough. I came back from my stay a fitter person than I left however, as the location means that steps and hills are unavoidable(unless you get the local bus). This just adds to the beauty of the place.

Lovely accommodation for a relaxed holiday

This property exceeded our expectations. It is very tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortably furnished in an elevated location with lovely views. The beach is walking distance down a number of steps, as is the town center with shops and cafes. A very traditional Spanish town, not commercialized. The owner was friendly and helpful and provided good customer service. Within a few minutes walking distance towards the top we found several small restaurants, which were reasonably priced and provided fresh local food. We would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a charming base to explore the area.

Fantastic house, location and facilities.

We have just spent the most fabulous week in this wonderful, charming house. It was perfect for my husband and I to relax and explore the local area. Ray the owner was extremely helpful in every way and thought of everything we could possibly need. The facilities were perfect, so much so we only took hand luggage as the house has everything. It was extremely clean, beautifully furnished with lots of personal touches so that it felt like a home from home. We had some wind and rain whilst we were there but because of the cosy, spacious house we spent a lovely day just relaxing 'at home'. I will be returning and recommending this house to everyone. Thank you Ray, for sharing your home with us.

Authentic Spanish town house

The house was spotless and extremely well equipped. Very roomy for 2 people. Lots of stairs - as is typical in a Spanish town house and on a steep hill. Parking is available nearby - steep narrow roads to get to the house so don't rent too big a car! The roof terrace was a lovely place to have breakfast and to sit of an evening. We enjoyed living in a typical little Spanish town away from most tourism. There were plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance and shops and the beach was a short stroll away. Beaches were quiet, lots of great seafood to be had. We enjoyed travelling up into the mountains for a day and trips to neighbouring towns and beaches. All in all a perfect place to stay! I would just say that as you are statying in a town where there is fairly dense living you should expect the noises of people getting up to go to work in the morning.

Fantastic house, great location

We stayed at this house for a week in June as a base for having a holiday and house hunt. We had a great time. The house is really well located in the old town of Salobrena, so it is minutes walk away from the castle, church, bars and restaurants. The views from the terrace are outstanding, and we spent most evenings up there just watching the mountains, sea and lights going on in the town.

The house itself is immaculate and very well equipped and comfortable - much bigger than it looks from the photos. It is positioned on the beach side of the old town, so it is about a 10 minute meander down to the beach down the steps (although longer to get back up, unless you are super fit!). We had a hire car which we used for longer trips, and I would recommend this as there is so much to see in the area and further afield.

In summary - lovely house, really good value for money, excellent ongoing communication with owner in a fantastic location. We'll be going back!
