About the property

Located in a peaceful location but with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, entertainment, bars etc. nearby

The complex is behind the Paradise Park hotel in the newer part of Los Cristianos. It is only 2 storeys high of which the apartment is on lower one. Only a few steps from apartment takes you down to the newly refurbished pool which gets the sun all day. (Photos of new pool to follow soon) It is lit up at night which is pretty if you are looking out from the apartment terrace. During the day you can sunbathe at the pool and nip up for drinks and snacks without bothering with lifts etc. or sunbathe on the balcony which gets the sun from afternoon till sundown all year round. Sunbeds are free which cuts down your daily spending. New patio doors fitted in January 2016. Fully tiled bathroom with bath and overhead shower, sink, toilet, table and small cabinet. New kitchen fitted in August 2016 with full oven, ceramic hob, fridge, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster and plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils etc. We leave some food items e.g. condiments, tea, coffee etc and some cleaning products. We are over often to check and replenish these. Apartment has plenty of British T.V channels and some extra sky channels too including sky news. Washing machine and dryer available on site. 5 euros for washing and 4 euros for dryer. Both take large loads. Linen and towels supplied. Linen and towel changes can be arranged with the manager Sally at reception for 10 euros. Living area is spacious with flat screen T.V. and DVD player on a cabinet, comfy sofa, two coffee tables, an indoor table with 4 chairs and large fan. Bedroom has 2 single beds, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, two bedside cabinets, two chairs and portable fan. There is a safe in the wardrobe. The sunny terrace has a table, 4 chairs with cushions, a parasol and an airer for drying clothes. The complex is small and not too busy.

Why Janis chose South Tenerife

We love this complex because it is so quiet, friendly and safe. Also because of it's location near all the fantastic eating places, bars, supermarkets and the fantastic La Pepa rooftop food court with bars and sunny terraces. The apartment is south facing so has a very sunny terrace which is especially good in the winter months. We have recently fitted new patio doors and a new kitchen. The complex is well looked after and the manager and cleaners are there every weekday if you need anything. Our manager's phone number is supplied to guests. The pool has just been upgraded and the sunbeds are free which is unusual. We always love our holidays here.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for couples or friends who like a reasonably quiet complex. 18 - 30 guests who want to 'party' would not be welcome as there are many people living on the complex who work or are retired and like it quiet at night. The apartment manager Sally is on site Monday to Friday mornings if guests need any help or advice. Because of the location of the apartment in relation to the pool it is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Although the balcony gets the afternoon and evening sun there is a parasol. Outside: The complex is kept clean and tidy with a pool suitable for children and adults and well kept gardens and paved areas. Utility Room: There is a utility room where luggage can be stored during the day to keep the living room clear and tidy. Also an ironing board, iron, cleaning equipment etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. There is a washing machine and dryer available on site which guests can use if required. Weekly linen changes can be arranged with the manager if stays are longer than one week. It costs 10 euros payable to manager. Other: The sunny balcony has a table, 4 chairs with pads and a parasol. Clothes drying rail and pegs. Only a few steps to the pool areas which gets the sun all day. Sunbeds are free.

Nice Quiet Apartment overlooking the Pool area

First time here, although been coming to Los Cristianos for years now, small 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool area, clean & very quiet, Good place to wind down, not to far from Restaurants & Bars, although the onsite bar was closed, but that didn't bother us to much.Nice little sun trap in the afternoons.

Peaceful location

Returned from a weeks stay here refreshed and looking forward to returning. Apartment had all facilities I needed. Great peaceful location but within minutes walk from supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Owners great with communicating.

Great location, nice balcony overlooking pool area, British TV was good! Nice quiet complex

Lovely great comfortable apartment, would have been nice to have air con and wifi but despite that it has everything you need. Balcony has a great outlook onto pool area. It's a quiet relaxing complex. Arrangement to get keys was straight forward and easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment in a good location

Stayed here with my 17 year old looking for a relaxing holiday. Short taxi ride from the airport, taxi rank just outside the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen even tho we didn't use it as we ate out for all meals. Short 2 min walk to restaurants and bars but a big hill on the way back up there is some steps but could be difficult for people who can't walk far. The pool was very clean and some days we had this to ourselves, the only downside was there was no parasols around the pool which were needed as we went in August. If your taking a teenager they would probably find it a bit too quiet during the day, but plenty of entertainment at night in the local bars.

I know what you mean about not having parasols around the pool but the fact that you don't have to pay for sunbeds is a bonus as in most complexes it costs 1 euro for each bed and 1 each for the cushions and 2 euros to hire a parasol. There are bases around the pool area and when we go over we take the parasol from our terrace down to the pool when sunbathing in the summer as I agree it has been very hot. Thanks for your comments.

this is our third stay at the apartment it is always clean and well maintained. loving the newly refurbished pool, complex is quiet but only a short walk from the local bars and restaurants and a short distance from the beach. cant wait to go back

Car: not necessary


The complex is located in the newer area of Los Cristianos. It is in a quiet area so is good at night, however there are plenty of bars with entertainment and restaurants within a few minutes walk away. There are also good supermarkets nearby and a new continental food court with children's playpark just across the road. It is a 15 minute walk to the sea front and 10 minutes to the old town of Los Cristianos.


It is only 15 minutes by taxi from the Tenerife Sur Airport. Keys can be picked up in a box on the terrace wall. This has a secret number which will be supplied. The apartment manager's phone number is supplied in case guests require any kind of help when they are there. The bus station is only a 10 minute walk. There are buses to most parts of the island. There is also a taxi rank directly outside the apartments.


It is 15 minutes walk both to the sea front and old town. You can walk along the promenade all the way into Las Americas. There is a lovely traditional harbour area in Los Cristianos. The market is only a 10 minutes walk from the apartment and opens on a Sunday and Tuesday. There is also a new continental food market with lots of different kinds of food, a wine and beer bar and a large terrace to enjoy your food and drinks inside or in the sun. This is a minutes walk away. There is also a large play area for younger children at 2 euros per hour.

Further Details:

There are various supermarkets - one next to the apartments and a large Dialprix within 5 minutes. There is a whole strip of new bars a few minutes down the road. Also plenty of restaurants including Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Mongolian, as well as traditional Italian and Spanish restaurants, tapas bars, coffee bars and British restaurants. There is plenty of entertainment including karaoke, tribute acts, quizzes etc but if you like it quiet there are also bars and restaurants where you can eat or drink on the terrace and watch the world go by. If you like shopping there are traditional shops available in the old town of Los Cristianos only a 15 minute walk away. There are many designer shops in the newly built areas of El Duque and many shopping areas in Las Americas, the Safari Centre being a popular one.

There are also lots of places of interest for both adults and children. You can book trips at a shop nearby.There are boat trips to see the dolphins and porpoises, boat trips to the island of La Gomera or bus trips to the top of the volcano Mount Teide. There are also trips available to the many animal parks including the Jungle Park and Loro Parque and to the water park Aqualandia. The new 'amazing' theme park 'Siam Park' which has the largest wave machine in the world and the most exciting slides. It has been voted the best theme park in the world by trip advisor. For adults there are fishing trips, diving trips, a 9 hole golf course, several 18 hole courses and a go karting circuit all within a short drive or bus ride away. For those who like walking you can take a leisurely walk along the waterfront all the way into Las Americas and beyond or if you like there are also more specialised hill walks available. The best thing that Tenerife has to offer is the all year round weather. It is popular in summer and winter. The average temperature in the winter is 20-24 degrees and in the summer it is a hot but not unpleasant average temperature of 27-30 degrees.
