Only an hour from the airports of Alicante & Valencia (both served by low cost airlines), unique Villa Ifach is built on a 2500 m2 flat plot in the residential community of Garduix, Calpe. Close to all local amenities, beautiful beaches and the town centre, this extensive house is built within a large walled area surrounded by gently sloping hills and boasts amazing sea & town views of Calpe and the landmark Rock Ifach. This villa accommodates up to 12 people; comprising 5 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus a 1-double bed self-contained apartment, private swimming pool (15x5m) and detached pool house. Supermarket is within walking distance, beaches 5 mins drive.

About the Owner

We are a family of 5, our kids being 8, 7 and 5 years old. We are based between the Czech republic and England. We love going to our villa as we always have a fab time despite all the work that has to be done while we're down there. Our kids love going to the lovely beaches of Calpe and Moraira and we have our favourite cafe in Calpe called Flandes that we regularly visit during our stay in Calpe. Sometimes we stay at the villa by the pool, cooking simple meals and enjoying the view. But we also love going to the beaches and watching the kids playing in the sea and building sand castles.

This is an excellent place to stay very spacious and well equipped all three generations loved it, Calle is a lovely town with nice beaches and lovely restaurants and will be defantley be going back

A Villa That Will Not Disappoint

From the moment we booked Villa Ifach the communications and help we received from Katerina was excellent. The property is listed as a unique and I do not think any listing could do this property justice. On arrival the property exceeded expectations from the entrance way through to each bedroom and the amazing decoration of the living room we felt like we were staying somewhere special.

The day before arrival we were contacted by people from management firm, who confirmed when we expected to arrive and met us at the property, giving us a quick tour and letting us know what is what. There were a few teething problems in the first few days but these were resolved quickly and efficiently, could not praise the guys enough.

The views a breath taking and the enclosed walls and large grounds (with amazing pool) really do allow you to escape from it all. We had a large party and there was ample room for all. Dinner on the balcony accommodated all and gave us the real Mediterranean feel.

The property spends the day in the glorious Spanish sunshine, so make sure that the fans are on in the bedrooms, as there is no Air Con and it can get hot at night - the top floor was very hot and the fans supplied did not always give you enough to make it comfortable.

Villa Ifach is a little way out of town (it is approx 2km to the nearest Supermarket and just under 2.5km to one of the Beaches) so it is worth having a car to get those essential supplies during your break. But the walk to town was not arduous, just up hill!

Calpe itself has numerous restaurants and bars - many along the sea front (or by the marina) provide food and drink at extremely reasonable prices. However, the old town is a must. From the beautiful side streets to the restaurants with their welcome, charm and excellent food have given us a Spanish town that we all (adults and children alike) want to return to.

We very rarely want to return to a property but Villa Ifach is one that we would return to without hesitation.

Lovely family villa with beautiful town and sea views yet only few minutes from the centre and beaches. Simple but ideal for a family holiday.

Nearest Airport : Alicante at 70 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Playa del Arenal-Bol at 2 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Calpe has 2 of the best sandy beaches on the coast; Benidorm with all its shopping and nightlife is only 15 mins away, along with the Disney-like Terra Mitica fun park and Water parks. 1km from villa onto 2 sandy Blue Flag beaches with life guards during high season. The Penon de Ifach Rock a famous landmark in Costa Blanca, can be walked or climbed.

Travel:

Alicante approx 50 mins, Valencia approx 1 hour and 20 mins. Bus station in Calpe available to many destinations including Alicante Airport. Car hire recommended.

Distances:

1km to beaches, supermarkets and restaurants.

Further Details:

Local Calpe Club de Tennis 1km from villa. Montago National Park with beautiful scenery and views. For kids there is the Disney style Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia, Water Park and the Mundomar Exotic Animal and Marine Park, all in Benidorm, about 20 mins drive. Safari parks at Aitana and Vergel. Waterfalls at Bolulla. Restaurants to suit all tastes. Old Town Calpe, old church and museum old houses and beautiful cobbled streets.

Outside: Next to the pool, the summer-house is an ideal place for BBQ, pool-side dining, relaxation and sunbathing. It houses an outdoor kitchen with dining area, gas BBQ griddle and separate WC + shower-room. Expansive lawns and sun-loungers will ensure that one will not miss out on all-day sunshine. The pool has a shallow play area that is ideal for supervised children to sit in and splash water around.
