Hi Stella, we had a wonderful stay in the beautiful city of Budapest. The apartment definetely added to our stay. We found it very comfortable and incredibly spacious. The furnishings were all very stylish and there was everything we needed. The company who gave us the keys were very efficient and met us on time both on arrival and departure.
Both myself and my boyfriend would like to thank you , we certainly felt we struck lucky with the apartment.
Many thanks Louise from London.
just back to U.K. and wanted to say we had a great time in Budapest and loved your apartment.I have stayed in both Hilton's and Intercontinental previously but will certainly use your apartment again and would recommend it to others. Regards Kevin U.K.
The inside of the apartment was lovely and spacious and centrally located, so we could walk to many things. The downside of the location on Vaci Utca was that it was very noisy every night, what with bars letting out, delivery trucks, and trash trucks.
My neighbour and I stayed here July 21st - 26th for 5 nights and could not have chosen a much better location. Firstly the very few con's! The building is quaintly old and the 3 person elevator to the third floor is rickety but we actually found this part of the attraction. The stairs are wide, marble and granite and are fine to use for the able but I would not recommend this property for a wheelchair bound or person finding it difficult to get around. There was a drainage smell in the ground floor lobby area but no hint of it on the 3rd floor where the apartment is. The shower on the wall is not set above head height for an adult so it has to be used manually for hair washing. The drainage from the shower/bath is slow but it drains. There is no air con.
The Pro's are many!
Start with old but CLEAN! There is just one very good size double bed in its own bedroom with a small double sofa bed. In the second reception room there is the TV and huge comfortable sofa bed. We found this very adequate. There were more than enough blankets and bedding. The apartment is equipped for actual living so it has everything from an ironing board and iron to washing machine, kitchenette with grill and gas hob and importantly a seperate toilet near the well-lit bathroom. There was enough of everything, including washing tablets for the machine and tea-towels, tea bags and sauces in the kitchen. The large hall serves as a good dining area for 4 people. There are fans in the rooms and plenty of ventilation.
The apartment overall is spacious and well equipped with internet and multi-lingual channels on the flat screen TV.
Emma met us to show us around and was, concerned for our satisfaction, bubbly and friendly. A guy called Abris met us at the airport for a very fair extra fee and took us back when we left. Abris was very well informed and answered all our tourist questions. Everyone speaks English. Stella was prompt in responding through Owners Direct considering time differences and working hours. We will definitely stay there next time given the value for money and location. Thanks Stella, Abris and Emma!
My wife and I recently spent three nights at Stella's flat. Stella was very professional and communication with her and her associates was very easy and we had no problem getting into the flat. We used an airport taxi to get into Budapest, and then used Uber to get back which was about 3000 forints cheaper. The flat is located right on Vaci Utca (one of the main tourist streets in Budapest) and a stone's throw from the Danube. It is also a short walk to Deak Ter which has good connections to most of the metros and buses for getting around town. The pros for the flat are that it is well maintained, has basic amenities including a tv, washing machine, fridge, and has a lot of natural light. It does not have an air conditioner, however, but it has plenty of windows for creating a good breeze. Only one night did we have an issue with having the windows open and noise from the garbage trucks picking up trash on the street below. The only real complaint we had about staying here is the Internet really didn't work, which was unfortunate as we needed the wifi to speak with our families abroad. Other than that, it was great. All of our friends who had traveled to Budapest with us had been unwilling to try VRBO fearing it would be a scam. However, once they saw Stella's apartment, they were surprised at how nice it was and they all asked me for Stella's contact info so they can rent it during future visits.
We have just spent a long weekend in the wonderful city of Budapest and wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic apartment.
Stella arranged a pick up service from the airport and we then had a taxi arranged to take us back at the end of our stay.
The apartment is huge for the price and the location cannot be beaten.
150m from the Danube and right in the middle of the main tourist area.
If you stay here it will add to the enjoyment of your stay.
We loved it!
A clean and well appointed apartment in a charming heritage building right in the centre of Budapest. It provided a quiet retreat within walking distance to sights of Budapest, shopping, eating. The kitchen allowed flexibility with preparing meals, bathroom, washing machine. Helpful hosts, even met the next door neighbour and shared a shot of palinka with her (at 9am) . Much better than any hotel experience.
This is truely a stunning apartment in a fabulous location. I've never thought of Budapest before and was recommended to us along with this apartment and it didn't disappoint. The pictures dont do it justice either!! The transfers and agent was great and really helped us get around the first evening and had some great tips on where to go.! Simply the best holiday I've had in a very long time, very chilled, very beautiful and every turn an eye opening view. I can't recommend the apartment and Budapest enough.!!!
