Bungalow in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote - 2 Mins Walk to Beach and 10 Mins to Town Centre

This beautiful bungalow has recently been refurbished to a very high standard using only the finest materials. It sits in a prime location very close to the beach and the Punto Limones entertainment centre with its many bars and restaurants. Take a trip on a glass bottom boat to Papagayo beach and try snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Or take the ferry to Fuerteventura and visit the amazing Parque Natural de las Dunas. Or if you would like to hire a car you can explore the many gems of Lanzarote. If you choose this bungalow you will not be disappointed. We also have installed an excellent choice of British and Irish television channels.

Exceptional value and great location.

Paul was really helpful prior to and during our visit.Directions were excellent and we found the bungalow with ease. It's well situated, with easy access to the long 'prom' by the sea. Plenty of supermarkets within walking distance, with reasonably priced goods and an easy walk to the fish market, for those occasions you're eating in-we made good use of the little bbq. The bungalow is spotless and well equipped with all you need for simple holiday catering. It's a quiet location,yet near plenty of restaurants and bars. Good loungers outside,but the furnishing inside is basic and lacks comfort. Having said that, it is exceptional value and we had a great holiday,mixing exploring this interesting Canary Island and enjoying the sunshine. Thank you Paul and Lynsey

A wonderful holiday

What a lovely week we had. Paul could not have been more helpful - he even arranged gorgeous weather! We were not too sure how we would manage as I am partially disabled but the bungalow was the perfect choice for us. The bungalow and terrace is on the same level, there is a walk-in shower and there are only a few steps in the area. The bungalow is only about five minutes to local shops and the beautiful Playa Flamingo beach. The promenade runs for miles to the Old Port and on to the marina. Plenty of towels etc were provided - everything we needed. The "Goody Bag" of necessities was most welcome after the journey. Thank you so much Paul - we will be booking again soon.

Super value

My husband and I have returned to this accommodation every year for the last 3 years. Great value accommodation, clean, with all amenities including washing machine and 5 mins walk to local Spar, bars, restaurants and the beautiful Flamingo beach.

The bungalow is part of a quiet development many of whom are owner occupied which adds to the family feel and friendliness. Gardens are well maintained and communal pool is a great size and suitably cold to cool you down in the warm Lanzarote sun. Plenty of available sun loungers, all against the very picturesque backdrop of the volcano....well worth a walk up to!

This has been a great find. Looking forward to my next visit

Great Stay

This bungalow has a great location in Playa Blanca, it was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and beach towels which where changed with the bedding in the middle of our stay (10 day stay). The private southerly terrace was equipped with loungers, table and chairs.

The cava and starter pack was a nice touch.

We have been visiting Playa Blanca for 9 years and hired a car for the first time this year and where surprised at how much there was on the island that we had missed.

It was nice of Lyndsay to drop by to see and check we had everything we needed.

Hoping to visit again next year and would not hesitate to book this bungalow again.

Feels like home

At last I can now post a review on this website. We have stayed in Lyndsays Bungalow once a year for the last 5 years and would never consider staying anywhere else. We have always arrived to find the property in excellent condition, and can't wait to be there again this year. We are always delighted with our starter pack and can just see ourselves relaxing with a glass of Cava on the patio, and then heading off for a walk down to the beach. We have never needed to hire a car before as everything we need is on our doorstep, but we might this year just to have a look around our favourite holiday destination.

Fantastic holiday in great apartment

Great apartment in a great location! It was clear that the apartment had been thoroughly cleaned throughout, and was well equipped with everything we needed! Unfortunately the weather wasn't amazing, so perhaps a larger TV would have been nice, but that is me being picky! Will definitely recommend, and hopefully return in the future!

We bought it because of the location and how quite and peaceful it is. Repeat clients just love it so much and have so many friends who live locally and they enjoy the ease of just slipping back into the buzz of Playa blance with relative ease.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : arrecife ( ACE ) at 30 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Irish Anvil Great food / Entertainment and Sport at 500 Metres Nearest Ferry : Fred olsen / Armas to Fuertaventura at 600 Metres Nearest Golf : Tias Golf course at 20 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Chinese/ Steakhouse Playa Flamingo at 500 Metres Nearest Beach : Flamingo Playa at 500 Metres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Excellent base for Cyclists and Triathletes with fantastic quite roads to the North of the island and good areas for sea swimming and running. Mountain bike hire and Road bike hire also available just email for prices and availability.


2 minutes walk to fabulous beach with safe bathing and swimming. Snorkelling is a must so bring yours with you. Paddle boarding and open top kayak is available at the port 500m also there are dive centres close to the bungalow.


30 minutes drive to airport. A taxi will cost approx. 45 Euro to the accommodation but there are private transfer companies like lastminutetravel.com that charge 20 Euros for 2 passengers and there luggage. 5 minute walk to the port of Playa blanca where you can catch the ferry to Fuertaventura 20 minute sailing or take one of the cruises and explore the beautiful coastline on the South of the island.


Playa Blanca town centre is only a 10 minute walk along the ocean front. Yaiza village is 15km away and the National park which is well worth visiting, (entrance is around 8 Euros per person ) is 20km away. If you do not want to hire a car there are Tours leaving every day ( book 1 day in advance ) from the Port to the Fire Mountains or treat yourself to a Grand Island Tour by luxury coach all entrances incl. in the price of the Tour.

Further Details:

10 minute walk to Banks and town centre with its many restaurants and shops. There is a Large Spar with fresh baked bread and all you need for your holiday 5 minute walk from the bungalow.

Wifi rental is available at a weekly cost of 20 euro payable to owner, longer rental is available at discounted prices.

The terrace at the bungalow is very private with a small wall and wooden gate so you can enjoy relaxing at the table or reclining on the sun bed with a little drink. WiFi is available at a cost of 20 Euros per week payable to the owner on arrival, longer rentals at reduced rate
