You will feel special from the moment you walk into the new, very stylish and contemporary "Delazy Villa". Leave your worries behind and enjoy this exceptional tranquil villa located in the quiet Rotonda West on the Rotonda River. The 2,200 sq ft villa was completed in January, 2016 with new clean comfortable bedding and furnishings waiting for you.
The living/dining/kitchen open concept area is spacious with high ceilings, snack bar and easy living flow and a smart TV. There are 3 sliding doors going out to the over-sized screened patio/pool from the dining and living room areas.
From the moment you wake up in your king size master suite facing the pool and river view, you have direct slider door access to enjoy bird watching from the patio/lanai, relaxing in your sparkling private pool, outdoor dining, or fishing from the riverfront. The master suite has bedside tables, chest of drawers and flat screen TV. The master bath has a large walk in shower and double vanity. The comfortable queen bedroom has another sliding door overlooking the patio pool and flat screen TV. The third bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. All bedrooms have walk in closets and the shared bathroom has another large walk in shower.
It's only 10-15 minutes to one of our relaxing nearby beaches or islands (Boca Grande, Palm Island and Manasota Key). With 39 miles of white sandy beach and easy parking, you're sure to enjoy several days at the beach. Your vacation could include lunch at a restaurant on the beach, outdoor music and dining, shelling, sunsets, dolphin watching, swimming, fishing or many other water activities. Our villa is ideally located for golfers with 15 golf courses in the area, the closest being within 5 minutes.
The location is ideal for relaxing or enjoying many area activities. There are several unique shopping areas for a day of shopping, parks and historical sites, art and entertainment festivals, nearby grocery stores, shopping malls, fresh markets, outlet malls, bars and fantastic restaurants for casual and fine dining (indoor and outdoor). Several walking paths are located within the Rotonda West circle along with two tennis courts and children's playground. This is the perfect location for short trips to Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens, the everglades or Kennedy Space Center.

Beautiful home, cannot fault it in any way!

The villa is stunning - bright, airy, nicely furnished and very comfortable, a real home from home. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you need – and more! We spent most of our time outside, the kids loved the pool (especially the amount of pool toys available!), we ate almost every meal at the outside dining table and the view of the canal is lovely. It’s so peaceful and relaxing; we saw alligators daily, turtles, lots of birdlife and the sunrises down the canal are beautiful. Our favourite local activities are hunting for sharks teeth and watching the amazing sunsets on the pristine beaches (Stump Pass and Blind Pass in particular) so we made good use of the beach equipment and cool boxes provided. We have been coming to Rotonda for about 20 years but this was our first time at this villa, I wholeheartedly recommend it and will absolutely return if the opportunity arises. One week here was simply not enough!

Tremendous 😁

We had a super holiday at this villa. The property was immaculately clean and well stocked with every piece of equipment needed and clear instructions on how to use them ! The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. Without doubt the best aspect of the stay though was the fabulous pool. Great temperature and big enough for our party of four. We spent many hours relaxing by the pool watching the local wildlife and the alligators swimming past 😳 My only slight negative is that it is a drive to restaurants shops etc… but that said it’s easy to navigate the roads and it’s also a very peaceful neighbourhood. If we came to this area again l wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the villa if it was available. It was everything we wanted and a big thanks to Gail for letting us stay there

A wonderful holiday villa allowing the adults and infant to relax. BBQ’s around the pool a wonderful way to end the day. The villa is well equipped. The use of cool box and umbrellas makes a day at the beach more enjoyable. Will look forward to booking again. Thank you Gail

Awesome, fabulous villa

This is a fabulous villa, very comfortable and very stylish. The location is so quiet and peaceful, it was so restful. It was not too far from the beach’s, shops, restaurants, cinema etc. It has everything you would need for your stay, from everything in the kitchen or cook meals, to chairs and umbrella for the beach. The pool is fantastic and the view of the water ways from it is beautiful to watch the birds. The communications with the owners was brilliant and very professional and any queries/issues were dealt with immediately. I can’t recommend this villa enough, I would definitely stay here again.

Tranquility in the sun

We spent a lovely 12 days in the villa, exploring the wider to area to visit lovely towns (Venice, Sarasota, Naples) as well as the historic centre of Englewood. The beaches up and down the coast are amazing particularly Blind Pass, Boca Grande and Siesta Key, and Myakka State Park is a must for amazing nature including aligators. The villa was a great base for doing this, both beautifully furnished and well equipped, with amazing wildlife to watch from the pool area. The aircon was fabulous in the heat (although perhaps a touch too cold for us Europeans) and the pool temperature was perfect for daytime and evening swimming. I got in touch with Gail a couple of times by email during our stay and she was very prompt in responding and always helpful. Should we come back to the area we would definitely want to stay here again.

A little about the owners Tom and Gail DeLacy. We live in Wisconsin and have been traveling to the Englewood and Venice Florida area for several years visiting family. We just love spending time on the beach and traveling during the cold Wisconsin winter months.

Why they chose this property

Gail's family has been vacationing and living in the area as far back as the 1930's. Each time we take a trip to the Englewood/Venice area, we find new restaurants, golf courses and adventures on one of the nearby beaches. A couple of years ago Gail's sister and brother in law purchased a vacation rental in Rotonda West (just up the road). We were there several times and really liked the area. We couldn't think of a better place to have a vacation home. In November 2015 we decided to start looking for new or newly constructed vacation homes in the area. We decided on this home which wasn't completed until December 31, 2015. Our first rental took place in January, 2016.

What makes this property unique

This property is situated on the Rotonda River and very near the large conservation area. We particularly enjoy watching the wildlife. There have been many beautiful birds spending the day on the shoreline or near the lanai. The home has an open and spa like feel, which allows us to unwind immediately. We are only a short distance from any saltwater or freshwater adventure.
