Fully equipped kitchen with oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fridge freezer. villa equipped with flat screen TV with international channels incl. English. DVD Player. Wi fi available from hub on villa roof supplied by Canarian Wireless and payable on line on arrival to Canarian Wireless, cost 19 euros per week or can pay for daily rate. Lounge with one x three seater and one x 2 seater comfortable leather settees, round dining table with four chairs, ceiling fan. Patio windows from lounge onto terrace with six seater al fresco dining area and chairs and six sun loungers with parasol. Gas BBQ. Private pool, electrically heated from beg. November until end April. Pool cover. Poolside shower.

Master bedroom has patio windows leading onto terrace with fitted wardrobes, free standing fan, safe and en suite bathroom with bath with shower fitting, WC, wash-hand basin.

Second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan.

I live and work in Belgium and spend my holidays at my villa in Tenerife. I visited South Tenerife a few years ago and loved it, especially the good all year round weather weather. A couple of years ago I decided to purchase a villa and decided on 206 Sueno Azul. When I am not in Tenerife I am happy to rent it to guests so that they can enjoy the weather and lifestyle of this lovely island and of course for my friends and family to have the use of the villa. I try to make it as comfortable as possible for guests so that they enjoy a relaxing chill out holiday.

Excellent Villa and area

The villa was as described with some updates from photos used on this site. Very friendly on our arrival which was before check in time and within a few minutes was ready. Clean and well maintained. Appreciated. Welcome Pack. High level of privacy. WiFi has been updated and worked well also was free. Cynthia and all involved in managing Villa were very helpful without being intrusive. Restaurants provided great value and equally great food and service. We were 4 adults enjoying a relaxing break and would certainly visit this area and use this Villa again.

Lovely villa

We stayed here from 02/04/16 till 09/04/16 the villa was great and everything we wanted. Cynthia was very helpful and responded very quickly to any enquiry ensuring the booking went smoothly. The villa was very clean, well equipped and the pool was great. It's in a lovely quiet residential area not too far away from the main village. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future.

Very relaxing time......

Had a lovely relaxing stay at the villa. Made good use of the swimming pool and enjoyed the evenings on the patio for our evening meal. Enjoyed the walks down into the town for fresh bread and other provisions daily. Close to the beach and easily accessible to the main roads into the bigger resorts.

Nice Villa & Pool - Everything Else Lets It Down

Have stayed in a few villas with owners direct but this is way down on the list. Lovely Villa + well maintained pool but listing states there are ceiling fans, there is only 1 ceiling fan in the living room. Listing states there are portable fans, on arrival there were 2 very old fans which didn't work. We called the maid who said it was too late and she would replace them the next day. She left 2 more old fans but as there were 5 of us using 3 bedrooms we had asked for 3. One fan was unusable so we went out and bought a new one and we moved our sons bed into the living room under the room fan where he slept all week. The first night as it was so hot and with no fans we left the windows open, big mistake as we were invaded by cockroaches in particular around the kitchen area. Upon further investigation we found a collection of food crumbs behind the microwave together with a collection of dead cockroaches and spent most of the night spraying (spray was already in the property) and chasing the beasts. The second day after purchasing the fan we decided on a stay at home supper, the oven consists of 1 grill pan with no grill rack and no oven shelves on which to place a tray, basically an empty oven, also no oven gloves. Not really ideal for self catering. The guide book left in the property says that if staying for more than a week towels and linen would be changed. Nothing was changed during our 10 day stay. Just to top it all workmen began digging out a pool in the property behind from 9.00am to 5.00pm during 4 days of our stay, I understand that the owner knew nothing about this but we did lose out on 4 days of our holiday. We have taken up these points with the owner and received just £15.00 refund for the fan but no comment with regard to the rest of the problems

Owner's Response: I am so glad that for quite a number of years now we have had nice clients in the villa who have loved it and have even placed reviews on the website and keep returning to the villa for their holidays. I think this client maybe in the habit of making complaints. whilst wishing clients to have a good holiday we are living on a tropical island. The client did have fans which he said were noisy. His only request was attended to as soon as able ie other fans were taken in but obviously not thought by the client to be suitable. I do not know of many fans here which are totally silent. Of course I reimbursed him for the fan he purchased as he had left it in the villa when he departed. Cockroaches are inherent in Tenerife living all year round outside in the gardens and in the drains - we always leave spray in the villa and other cleaning products should the client wish to avail themselves of these. The villa is self catering and it is equipped with a good selection of cooking pans and oven dishes and there is a cooking tray in the oven. The villa has a really good gas BBQ on the terrace for outdoor cooking in addition to the internal oven and hob. There is also a washing machine supplied for laundering clothes and other items should the client wish to do so. We did not know anything about the works taking place in another villa somewhere to the rear of the property. Indeed in the villa literature it is written that any complaints should be supplied to the owner whilst in the property not when returning to the UK and subsequently asking for refund of rental. In fact the clients the following week said they had really enjoyed their stay and would recommend it to others.

Lovely Place

6 of us plus my 22 month old son stayed here for a week. The villa is in a very quiet residential area, great for a relaxing holiday. Plenty restaurants and bars down the hill and the people were so friendly. Definitely be going back again.

My family and I stayed in the villa for a week in November. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is also a great base (if you hire a car) for exploring the rest of this island, especially up on the volcano.

Location

Sueno Azul translated into English is Blue Dream, located in the relatively small resort of Callao Salvaje, has a quiet relaxing atmosphere. The restaurants and bars etc being situated on the ocean front. Has all one would need in the way of amenities. Has very good restaurants and bars. The villa is only a short walk to all the amenities and is in a very private location. Yet if the busy touristy life is required then the busier resorts are only 10 mins drive away.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

There are many excursions available in Tenerife and apart from the usual activities of water parks, zoos, theme parks and parrot parks there are specialist activities which can be arranged ie diving, paragliding, water skiing, walking, quad bike safaris, beach buggy safaris, fishing and sailing.

The worlds best water park , The Siam Park, is only 10-15 minutes drive away.

Coast/Beach:

Callao Salvaje has a new manmade beach within 5 mins walk of the villa with walks and promenade and a really nice beach bar/restaurant. The fantastic manmade beaches of Fanabe and Playa de Las Americas are only 10 mins drive away.

Travel:

Nearest airport is 30 mins drive away. Taxis are readily available at the airport or car hire can be obtained at the airport or we can arrange car hire prior to your departure. Callao Salvaje is a village type resort and the villa is only a short walk to the amenities so car not essential. Bus excursions are readily available and Callao Salvaje has a regular public bus service.

Distances:

Callao Salvaje is ideally situated for visiting all areas - only 10 mins drive from the more tourist areas of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos. The motorway connection for Santa Cruz and Puerta de la Cruz is only 10 mins drive away and easily accessible.

Further Details:

Callao Salvaje has everything one could need on a holiday, numerous supermarkets, a very good selection of restaurants which will suit all tastes and pockets, three banks, excursions and money change shops, retail shops, doctor's surgery, pharmacy, DVD hire shop. Tennis courts, gymnasium in local hotel. Bars of all types - those with entertainment for the night owls and peaceful bars with sunset views for those who just wish to chill out. Most bars and restaurants in Callao Salvaje face the ocean. There are also internet cafes, two patisseries with fresh bread daily, butchers shop with really good meat.

250 pounds refundable damage bond can be paid into bank account with balance of rental monies or paid into account one week prior to arrival date. Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. Friday or saturday changeover day is preferred in busy months ie school holidays and bank holidays and busy periods.. Do not have arrivals or departures on a Sunday unless circumstances permit

Notes on prices:
Price quoted is an average price for most of the year. Bank Holidays, School holidays and Christmas and New Year at a higher premium. Please ask for prices for these periods.
Special deal prices given for very late bookings or in a quiet month.
Rental prices quoted are normally based on 7 day rentals. if 10 nights is required then premium price may be added.
