This contemporary ground floor apartment is situated a stone's throw away from the waters edge of the stunning Boka Kotorska Fjord. The restaurants, bars and shops of the medieval walled town of Kotor are just a short walk around the head of the fjord (approx 15 minutes stroll). The apartment has a large private terrace to the front (approximately twice the size of the balconies of the upper floors), fully fitted kitchen area (including dishwasher), living/dining with double sofa bed, bathroom and bedroom with its own balcony also affording a view of fjord. The apartment has an allocated secure parking space. WiFi is included.

Your photos do not do justice to the fabulous terrace view. We have enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the cruise liners and yachts. Montenegro is a wonderful country - trip into the mountains amazing. Great apartment, hope to return. Ann & Mark. Oxford, July 2013.

Superb stay in a superb apartment

What an absolute gem of a property. We could not have been luckier. Communication from the owner was superb and we easily found our 'home' for two weeks.

Everything you needed was there which made the self-catering aspect of the holiday so smooth.

The views across to Kotor Old Town were stunning and many an evening was spent watching the 'goings on' of the Fjord.

Montenegro itself is a wonderful country and never having returned to any other previous holiday destinations (not because they were poor but because we have wanted to explore other places), we are so looking forward to returning next year.

The property itself was immaculate and I can honestly think of no downside to our two weeks. I would highly recommend both the country and this specific property to anyone wishing to explore.

Comfortable and well equipped with amazing views

Communication from the owner was excellent before we travelled. Answered all our questions and in good time. The apartment is comfortable, with room to spread out and feel at home. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more) in the kitchen. Great large fridge and freezer area (fa for ice cubes) too. Lots of nice homely touches including dvds, books and magazines, lots of coat hangers, a hairdryer, even a plug adaptor and fly swatter (which we needed occasionally on the terrace) and lots more. Always had hot water. The small outdoor pool was great for a quick dip and was surprisingly warm most times we went in which was lovely. Private parking space was a blessing. Without doubt, the best thing is the terrace, and in particular the views of the fjord, mountains and boats ranging from huge cruise ships, to 'wow' super and mega yachts, to tall ships, to water taxis. You also have an amazing view of the old town and city walls, which are lit at night, and I really don't think the view would be the same from the other side of the bay, and of course, you would not see this is you were actually staying in the old town. The only thing to be aware of is that the apartment is up a steepish lane of about a minute walk, and the walk to the old town took us a bit longer than 15 minutes. However, these things were ok for us. And, well worth it for this fabulous location. You will not need to put the tv on, there is so much to see on the fjord! Plus we got a taxi a few times and it was only 2 euros 70 cents between the apartment and the old town. We thought this was good value and would stay again.

Great property in a beautiful setting

My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment at the end of May and had the most incredible week. It was our first time in Montenegro and it provided the perfect base for exploring such a beautiful country. The views across Kotor Bay from the apartment were outstanding (the photos don't do it justice) and it was just a short walk into the old town which is full of bars, restaurants and is oozing with history.

The apartment itself was exactly what we needed. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and the terrace and pool were definitely a bonus. You couldn't ask for much more for the price - plus Max was really helpful with providing information about the property, directions and advice about Kotor and Montenegro.

I'd definitely recommend!

Activity and Interests


25 metres from the shoreline of the fjord - easy acess to the water for swimming. The nearest tourist beaches are around 25 mins drive.


The nearest airport is Tivat which is about 15 mins drive, Montenegro Airlines flights direct from London Gatwick commence 29 April 2012 (best prices Wednesday to Wednesday). Dubrovnik airport has many more flight options and is about a 70 min drive (40 miles). Ferry crossing from Bari in Italy to Bar in Southern Montenegro.


Kotor Old Town is 5 mins away by car / 15 mins on foot. Buses run on the road around the fjord and both water and car taxis are easily available.

Kotor Old Town is completely traffic free once you move within its ancient walls, it contains many lovely cobbled courtyards for outdoor dining. There are many interesting local shops, bars and restaurants together with a good range of banks. The bay is ideal for exploring by boat and boat trips run from Kotor town quay. The old marina at Tivat (15 mins by car) is well worth a visit as are a little further away the costal town of Budva and the old mountain capital of Montenegro Cetinje. Mount Lovcen National Park and Skadar Lake National Park are both within driving distance for days out.

The apartment has an allocated secure parking space situated directly adjacent to the entrance lobby. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and towels provided (excluding beach towels). The property is cleaned thoroughly at each changeover. Maintenance man on site daily. Other: Large private terrace off living room with high quality (light oak / aluminium) patio table and four chairs together with two folding sun loungers. The terrace has steps down to the communal gardens which lead to the shared swimming pool.
