Apartment at Aloha Gardens in Puerto Banus, Marbella, Costa del Sol - Set In Beautiful Sub Tropical Gardens With Spectacular Views

The apartment benefits from outstanding views of Mount Concha and is 20 yards from the main pool. The complex has immaculately maintained sub-tropical gardens, many fountains and is beautifully lit in the evening. It is surrounded by several top quality golf courses and the complex offers many more facilities. These include 3 pools (one indoor and one with a water slide), a Jacuzzi and a sauna. There is also the 'Aloha Gardens Sports Club' which includes football, tennis and basketball among other sports. There are several top quality restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as a supermarket and there is also the extremely popular, 'El Jardin' lounge bar which forms part of the complex itself along with the Living Room bar. Just a 15 minute walk away is the fabulous Puerto Banus. Here explore the beach and visit a number of designer shops, bars and restaurants whilst admiring the moored yachts. It's just a short taxi ride to Marbella where you can discover Orange Square and enjoy the festivals.

About Duncan & Louise Jones

We are a family of 4 who bought our apartment as a place to unwind with a view to enabling our two sons to enjoy a fantastic part of Spain whilst growing up and also when they are older with their friends.

We live in Leicestershire and try and get over to the apartment as often as possible and find the private gated complex a fantastic place to wind down. The pools are a massive highlight and the indoor heated pool means that we can swim all year round.

Anyone who decides to stay at Aloha Gardens can't fail to be impressed and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we as a family do.

Why Duncan & Louise Jones chose Marbella area

One of the main reasons that we chose this apartment was the amazing view of Mount Concha & Aloha Golf course. It is close enough to the Port to enable us to enjoy viewing how the other half live whilst still being able to enjoy the quieter life in Golf Valley. The amenities are superb with excellent restaurants and you can walk to the beach. Marbella is also just a 5-10 minute car journey.

We bought when our boys were very young and love the security that is provided by the gated area.

The gardens are immaculate and the pools are superb and it is somewhere that we can see ourselves coming to over and over again.

What makes this apartment unique

There are massive benefits to those who want to be by a pool but the beaches are very close as well.

Anyone who enjoys a round of golf will also be in heaven as there are so many top quality golf courses within a stones throw.

A car is not required as there are 6 quality restaurants just a 5 minute walk away and also bars close enough to be able to enjoy but not close enough to impact on a quiet holiday.

The biggest benefit to this property is that the balcony gets the shad in the afternoon and you can relax with a glass of wine taking in the incredible view.

Notes on accommodation: Aloha Gardens is particularly suitable for children with its facilities and the Aloha complex can only be entered with a specific code & exited by pressing a button on the wall. There is a first aid kit provided within the apartment. The apartment is looked after for us by Steve and his team that are based at reception & can be contacted on 952 814 454. Outside: The complex is gated and has 24 hour security. There is a sentry box and all entrants must be residents. Guests can visit provided the guard is advised. There is underground car parking and lifts to the apartments. The indoor pool is heated throughout the year and is suitable for all ages. There is also a bus service to Puerto Banus and Marbella and a reception area for details on trips and days out. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned prior to arrival. Towels (except beach towels) and linen are all provided. Other: The balcony has a table and chairs.

Had lovely stay at Aloha Gardens.Everything needed was there. Plenty of restaurants without going far.

Very helpful owners,plenty of information and no problems. A car is needed to get round . Would definitely recommend and hopefully will be returning.

Fabulous mountain views from large, well furnished balcony. Very convenient for swimming pool. Great underground parking adjacent to stairs/lift. Already planning next year's hols.....!

We travelled early August 2016 and both the area and property were what we had expected and more than adequate for our needs. The pool area was quiet so the beach is a better option if you are looking for more lively surrounds. The nearby restaurants were very good and old town in Marbella offered excellent value and fantastic food. I would recommend car hire if you want to visit local attractions but if you want to just relax there was enough entertainment in the proximity of the apartment.

Absolutely Amazing !!

Absolutely beautiful apartment and holiday!

Firstly , the apartment was based in the Aloha Gardens Resort which is a superb resort. It's very peaceful and beautiful, with all the bars, restaurants and shops you will need right outside the main entrance. The pool area is relatively medium sized and is very peaceful in June. The views are also lovely.

The apartment itself is based on the ground floor, however the building is based on a hill , so the apartment is still overlooking a golfing range. The apartment is equipped with everything that is needed and everything is spotless. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness. The kitchen has all the main essentials and more. Also the balcony is perfect and very spacious , beautiful to take photos. The only downfall was the fact that the apartment lacked full length mirrors, this became a problem when wanting to check our outfits before going out. Apart from that, everything else was great!

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that's interested in visiting Puerto Banus. It's close enough to the port , it's only 5 minutes in a taxi, which only cost 4 euro . I would one hundred percent stay here again !!

Fantastic apartment in great surroundings

This apartment is clean and cosy set in lovely surroundings right near the golf course there are lots of lovely restaurants on site but Marbella is only a short distance away if you want to live the high life. To great pools with plenty of sunbeds would definitely recommend

Relaxing holiday with plenty of siteseeing.

Great weather and plenty to do in the area. The apartment was very clean but a couple of things were not as expected. There was only 1 teaspoon so was inconvientent for tea and coffee making with a group. We had to get the alarm checked as it was going off one day, but that was seen to. The kitchen sink plug kept leaking when water was in it, which was a bit off putting.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. Both the teaspoons and the sink plug have been replaced. We are not based in Spain so we have someone that oversees the maintenance and upkeep. Should issues such as these arise we encourage guests to either call us or report the problem to reception. They can then be rectified immediately. The alarm is no longer used as the apartment has gated security and a guard that patrols 24 hours a day so it is our intention to remove this when we next decorate. In the meantime this is turned off at the mains.

Nearest Restaurant

The beach at Puerto Banus is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. There are massive beaches and varying prices for beds depending on how much you want to spoil yourselves. At San Pedro there is Guayaba beach which has an excellent restaurant where sardines and various fish are cooked on a barbecue and is very popular with the Spanish. Sun beds here cost half of what you will pay nearer the Port. Just a little further up there is Guadalamina Beach Club which has a pool and beach option. Beds are 10 euros which gives you access to the pool. If you are feeling really flush then between Guayaba and Guadalamina Beach Club is El Ancla which offers a pool only option and beds at 20 euros or 100 euros for the larger family beds. It also offers a fantastic restaurant with an Ocean view.

Nearer the Port you have the recently refurbished Ocean Club. Ocean Club is the original classic beach club in Marbella – a reference for style, modern luxury and an atmosphere that has made it famous as one of Europe’s chic favourites for relaxing, partying and enjoying the best that summer has to offer. It all happens around a huge saltwater pool, where super-comfy, extra large sun beds are ranged on a beautiful pool deck overlooking sea and pool.


Malaga airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended although airport taxis are happy to do the journey & we can also recommend a taxi firm should you prefer to pre-book who we have used for the past several years and will charge you a lot less than the airport taxi.


San Pedro is a mile away. Behahavis is half a mile towards Estepona and then 4 miles into the hills. This is excellent for dinner with several restaurants. Marbella 5-6 miles with The Golden Mile and many fantastic beaches and restaurants. Estapona is approx 10 miles and has its own Port with several bars, beaches and restaurants. Mijas provides beautiful views and is approx 20 mins from Aloha Gardens. You can also explore Rhonda and Gibralter which can be seen clearly most of the year around.

Further Details:

Just at the front of the complex there is a bank with a cash point machine, a deli, a take-away pizza parlour (which can be ordered and eaten at El Jardin), several restaurants serving breakfast, lunch & evening meals and Pedro's Tapas Bar that opens all evenings except Saturday. There are four excellent Indian restaurants, Bollywood, Masala, Maa and Curry Leaves along with two Italians and in total over 10 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Here the reception area can also be found whereby information on car hire (if a taxi was taken from the airport) and many trips can be found. These include day trips to Gibraltar, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Tanger and Ronda. You can also buy your Aloha Gardens wrist band at a small cost and this will give you 10-20% discount at Tango, Maa curry house & Nellie's Deli along with 20% discount on drinks at El Jardin and a welcome drink at Fuel restaurant. These are all within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. It will also give you 10% discount off all water sports at Funny Beach.
