About The Owner

We are a family who have been coming to this house since our parents bought it in 1983 and have passed many enjoyable family holidays there.

The Owner purchased this house in 1983

Why The Owner chose Ganges area

This is where the Massif meets the plain: this beautiful historic village is on the spring-line and is very green as a result. It is surrounded by beautiful hills and wild open countryside. It has a lovely park, local shops and a café and restaurant. Brissac was known on old maps as Brissac des Milles Sources (thousand springs). The location is very beautiful and the house is next to the tree lined river Avèze. Close by is the beautiful valley of the larger river Herault, into which the Avèze flows.

What makes this house unique

The house has a wonderful location by the Avèze, the small river that rises from springs in Brissac, and has a view of the beautiful medieval chateau on the hill opposite. The old romanesque bridge over the Avèze is just past our garden. The road from the Place de l'Église over the bridge is only open to people who live locally, so there is very little traffic

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a lovely time last year in Brissac and were wondering if there was any time it was free next summer? Gavin.

We stayed at your house in Brissac last year and really enjoyed it, and so

hope that we can come again this year on the dates indicated, for 1 week. Kate.
