Recently refurbished 2 bedroom apartment near Santa Ponsa. Set in a lovely secure complex with tropical gardens and 2 swimming pools, the sea is accessible at the rear of the complex. In one pool there is a shallow end suitable for young children.The apartment is 2 miles from Santa Ponsa, 25 minutes from Palma Airport and approximately 20 minutes from Palma city centre. 2 golf courses (Santa Ponsa) are 5 minutes away.

We have always loved this Island and so we decided to buy an apartment here as a home from Home.

It is ideal for a relaxed holiday as a couple or for a family as the complex has beautiful gardens and 2 swimming pools.

Another reason for buying was the location, as it is close to Andratx, Palma (20 mins by car) and not far from the airport. The marina at Puerto Adriano has been developed by Phlippe Starck and is a wonderful place for a meal or drink in one of the many new luxury bars and restaurants (5 minutes away)

There are many beaches nearby such as Santa Ponsa, St Elmo, Peguera, Palma Nova. For those interested in Golf, there are 2 golf courses in Santa Ponsa and many others that are easily reached by car.

The complex is very peaceful and relaxing and this was a major attraction. The complex also backs onto the sea and it is possible to swim here (for strong swimmers).

It is also easy to reach from the airport and takes 35 minutes by car.

Another major attraction is Puerto Adriano which is a short walk away and great for a meal in the evening.

There are many things to do locally, and also various ways of keeping the kids happy. There are 2 water parks nearby, which are very popular. Go Karting is also possible. A new indoor swimming pool has been opened in Santa Ponsa.

Notes on accommodation: Situated on the first floor, access is gained via stairs or lift. The location is also ideal for children as the complex is secure with access by electronic key fob. Outside: The complex benefits from 2 large shared swimming pools and 1 smaller children's pool. The appartment is set in a beautifical tropical garden setting and is ideal for families or couples. Sun loungers are available as well as barbecue areas. The complex is secure and access is via a key FOB. The marina at Puerto Adriano is 10/15 minutes walk and this is an ideal place to enjoy a meal outside. The complex backs on to the sea where it is possible to swim. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is thoroughly cleaned on changeover days. Towels and sheets are supplied, but please note that we do not supply beach towels. Other: Large balcony with views towards tropical gardens equipped with table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Comfortable Appartment in lovely gardens

The appartment was lovely with a large balcony surrounded by trees and overlooking one of the swimming pools on the complex - a particularly nice view at night when the pool was illuminated. We ate on the balcony each day - even when it rained!! The tropical gardens were beautifully maintained and very quiet and relaxing - no problem with sunbeds either.

The appartment itself was well equipped and clean although we did need to make very good use of the floor standing fans to keep the temperature down , particularly at night when patio doors etc were shut.

Although we were very happy to be away from the hustle and bustle of the livlier resorts around this area, we would consider hiring a car to be a necessity if only to access a supermarket! It is a fair walk to anywhere and can be very taxing - especially in the heat. We used taxis for a couple of days but this would have proven expensive if used regularly - €25 to the nearest big supermarket and back! In order to venture further afield than the immediate vicinity of the appartment complex, some form of transport is called for.

All in all we enjoyed our holiday !

Nice apt, in a pleasant area...

Apt was exactly as stated. Part of a quiet complex, beautiful grounds, surrounded by palm trees, 2 good pools, always sun-beds available & quiet to relax.

Easy access to amazing sea swimming of the rocks.

Apt would be better with air con. but fans in all rooms provided.

Overall if you wish to stay in this area, then this is a lovely apt & communication with the hosts was very good.

Lovely complex with beautiful pools and gardens

Very nice property set in a peaceful and very well kept complex with beautiful gardens. The two pools are perfect and rarely busy, with plenty of sunbeds available even in August. The apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We mostly ate out in the nearby restaurants in Santa Ponsa, El Toro and Port Adriano and all were good. I would recommend a car to explore the islands and we visited nearby Port Andraxt on a few occasions for dinner with a perfect sunset. Also recommend the Western Water Park and the nearby Jungle Parc high ropes course for adrenaline filled days out.

I would recommend this aprtment to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful settings with lots of things to do nearby.

Excellent Location - beautiful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. The grounds and gardens of the property are amazing as are the views from the rocks. It is a lovely quite location with beautiful swimming pools and relaxed atmosphere. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but yet within a 5 min drive. So we enjoyed the best of both worlds. The apartment is very well maintained and enjoyed some lovely meals on the balcony overlooking the gardens. We are looking forward to our return visit.

Great Appartment, Great Location

This is a great property in a great location in a secure gated development. It is clean, well furnished and has all the facilities you need to make it the perfect place for families to stay. There are 2 great swimming pools on site.

Lovely big shaded balcony, perfect for chilling out after a busy day at the pool/ beach.

Port Adriano is approx. 15 min gentle walk away, a great place to enjoy an evening meal and drink. Alternatively Santa Ponca is a short drive away and offers a livelier resort with a great beach. There are lots of small coves to explore nearby.

Our 2 children really enjoyed the nearby high ropes course.

We had a great time here and would definitely recommend this property.

great holiday times in Ambassador Park

The apartment is beautiful well equipped and family friendly. There's a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms , one attached to the master bedroom with a great comfy bed , and there's another spacious bedroom with twin single beds, The living room is spacious and great to chill out with a TV and DVD player.and dining area if you want to eat indoors, and there is a lovely big balcony with table and chairs to eat or relax . We'v e spent many a time on the balcony sunning and chilling . We 've stayed several times over the years in July and the weather has been perfect.. It secure and safe which is a must these days . The apartment is spotless , plenty of fresh clean towels and linen provided too.We like to visit Port Adriano and El Toro to go to th see the lovely William and family who run the Restaurante Playa El Toro at the other side of the port. The meals are good and inexpensive and of course the view is a treasure, all which are only a 10minute walk away. We walk into Santa Ponsa but there are buses and taxis that don't cost much . The location is good and ideal for visits to neighbouring Magaluf , Palma Nova and Port Andrax to name a few .. If you hire a car there is secure car parking provided. The swimming pools pools are to die for and there's no fear of not having a sunbed as these are provided free and plenty. David and Nuria have made us so welcome over the years and on our 35th wedding anniversary also left us some champagne to celebrate which we appreciated so much.. They are wonderful people. We would highly recommend the apartment to friends relatives and anyone as it caters for our needs perfectly . It is spacious and relaxing and it is everything you see in the review photos . There is a gate to go down to the sea that's secure with a key lock and code so families wont have to worry about safety with the children and the apartment is child friendly too Thank you David and Nuria for letting us have the priviledge to hire the apartment for a great holiday.
