Overview

Property

Updated: 08-Oct-2016
Villa in St Cezaire, Nr. Grasse and Cannes, Cote d'Azur -Beautiful Perched Village of St Cezaire - 30 min from Cannes

This wonderful property sits in the hills facing south. It offers you glorious views towards St. Cezaire as well as the Mediterranean. In the summer, there is always a lovely breeze which makes the house very comfortable on hot days. Cannes is 30 min. Nice 40 min. drive.

There is so much to do in the area- including visiting many lovely French villages (Cabris, Peymeinade, Speracedes, Grasse). The drive to Montauraux is breathtaking. Lac de St Cassien is not too far and Gorge de Verdon is also a good day trip. It is a paradise for walkers as well as bicylcists. There are many golf clubs in the region. Or you can simply relax by the pool.

The house is spacious and ideal for 2 or 3 families sharing. (for example one family downstairs, 1 family in the left wing upstairs and one in the rightwing upstairs).

On the ground floor you find a living room with fireplace, dining room, in between these two is a kitchen with a lovely view over the hills and sea. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. There is also a summer living area with some comfortable sofas and chairs. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The pool has sun all day and also enjoys stunning views.

About the Owner

We are an Anglo-Dutch family who bought our dream villa in St Cezaire in 2000. The moment we entered the house we fell in love with the incredible views and space.

We lived in the house full time for several years when the kids were young. We are now back in the Netherlands and are happy for the house to be used and enjoyed.

We had a wonderful time at Maeva. We were with a group of 14 and it worked perfectly. We had wonderful BBQs every evening. The view was breathtaking. The pool was great. Our teenage boys loved the diving board. Local trips canyoning, canoeing, cannes and St tropez etc were great. St Cezaire is a lovely little village with a lovely market and some nice little restaurants. Would defintely come back!

We had a very nice stay at Maeva. The villa has very good atmosphere!

Beautifully located with indeed a breathtaking view.

The property was clean, everything in order.

I would certainly recommend this property to my friends or family.

Great property for families

  • 5 of 5

The property was ideal for us, a three generation family of two grandparents, three children with their partners and eight grandchildren ranging in age from three months to ten. The upstairs could be virtually divided into two annexes, each with its own staircase, bathroom and either two or three bedrooms and the downstairs had a separate area with a bathroom and two bedrooms. So each of our three children had some private, personal space for their family. The studio in the garden was great for the grandparents to get a bit of peace! There were three large family rooms as well as a big kitchen so plenty of room for people to spread out and do their own activities. The ride on toys, pétanque and table tennis were appreciated and the diving board was an added bonus. I would really recommend this for a large group who want to holiday together but who also need Some space of their own.

Soleil et grand calme en famille !

  • 5 of 5

Une villa où on se sent comme chez soi. Elle est en très bon état général et permet vu sa situation de se relaxer complètement.

Sa structure permet de loger trois générations réunies.

An amazing place to gather your family

  • 5 of 5

This is an Amazing place. A bit unbelievable - the Beauty of the landscape and a very smart layout of the house. Every picture tells a story - but the photos on the web doesn´t show this place to it´s full potential and Beauty. I had all my family with me and we enjoyed every minute. We´ve been travelling a lot - but this is the best Place ever. It´s magnificient and there is plenty of space for everyone both inside and outside. We felt so much at home and very welcome. This is a Place I can deeply recommend. If I can aford it I will definitly be back. Thank you Eveline for letting us rent your beautyful home.

Delightful family house in Provence

  • 4 of 5

Our group of 13 had a wonderful 2 week stay at this property. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the pool and outdoor areas are delightful. Whilst not luxurious the house is perfectly well-equipped and spacious and the detached studio accommodation a very useful feature. The lovely village of St Cezaire is nearby as are some great lake and river swimming spots. Highly recommended.
