Apartment in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Superb location - very close to the beach, supermarkets and restuarants (1-5 minutes stroll).

This spacious and well presented apartment is in a lovely garden location very close to all amenities . The beach, Acua Water park and a 10 pin bowling alley are close by and there are many restaurants, bars, supermarkets and entertainment within 1-5 minutes stroll - no hire car is necessary. Oasis Royal is very quiet and tranquil - the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The apartment has a large, private terrace overlooking the gardens and 2 of the pools (including children's). There is now free unlimited and faster internet available in the apartment. Free wifi is also supplied outside the apartment and within the vicinity of the complex, so you can keep connected (if you want to). There are many additional, non standard, features including a Wii, Playstation 2, many books, board games and DVD movies to give your holiday a more homely feel. British (and other countries) television is available including BBC, ITV, Channels 4 & 5 along with additional movie, children's, music and sports channels. A camp bed, cot and highchair are available upon request along with a sofa bed. There will be a welcome pack awaiting your arrival and oncall management service nearby.

Fantastic Family Holiday

The apartment was brilliant, the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage, the fold out bed was ideal. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking utensils, the kids loved the wii.

The outside space was well organised and we used the bbq on a few occasions. The fact we were only a few feet away from both pools was great .

The location is perfect so close to resteraunts,bars & shops was great too.

I really hope we can stay again soon.

Fantastic holiday!

We are a family of three and we had a lovely time in this little gem. The owners were very helpful and the directions were spot on. The complex is located in the centre of Corralejo but you would never know it from the apartment as it is in a quiet garden. The apartment was clean and had just about everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. The internet service was stable and quick but we also enjoyed old fashioned pursuits such as reading and playing games. There are lots of very good restaurants nearby and our favourites were Infusion and the Ugly Ducking. It was an ideal and relaxing holiday and we highly recommend!

The property is a great size and the owners have thought of everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The location is great and Tuxedo Restaurant that has opened this year is fabulous and must be visited if you wish for a great meal

great stay!!

Just returned from 2 weeks and it has been brilliant. Right from the airport Jim and Lesley did everything they could to make our stay easy and comfortable. They sorted out the transfers and the apartment was perfect. It is ideally situated - quiet enough to relax but close enough to the town centre and beach. The apartment was clean, modern and even well stocked with basic necessities like tea, coffee, milk, water, washing liquid, powder and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Lesley anf Jim have accomodated everyone staying here as the apartment is stocked with books, DVDs, CDs, board games, wii games, excellent internet (the oasis royal general internet is poor) and outdoor games and toys. I have teenage daughters and they were easily entertained indoors and outdoors. I must emphasize that the apartment IS CLEAN, MODERN AND WELL MAINTAINED! I'm not sure what cissy of glasgow was thinking in her review in January but I could find no fault whatsoever with the apartment nor Jim and Lesley, they were very pleasant and extremely helpful and accomodating.

There is plenty of places to eat and drink and all quite reasonable, some even downright cheap! The Slow Boat is a lovely 'all you can eat' Chinese; the 7 Pints is a great Irish bar and the meal servings are generous; the two beach cafes are both really good. There is also The Campinario Shopping Centre at the opposite end of town which is quite quaint. It has some great shops, cafes and restauarants with a live spanish band and craft market on Sundays. Overall a really great holiday with a lovely apartment. We are definitely returning next year to Jim and Lesley's place. Many many thanks!!!!!!

We have already spend 3 times our Christmas holidays in the apartment of Lesley and Jim. And we have already booked it for the 4th time.

It is well equipped in the kitchen area has 2 large bedrooms and a nice bathroom. The terrce is our favoourite place. It has a nice view over one of the 3 pool areas into the large garden of the Oasis Royale. The balcony above it gives a good protection against the winds of Fuerteventura and it allows to sit outside in the evenings and have some barbecue or a drink.

We first came to Fuerteventura to escape the cold weather one winter and fell in love with the island. It is such a relaxed island in the sun and is a perfect place to unwind.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Puerto del Rosario at 40 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 10 Metres Nearest Ferry : Corralejo at 2 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Corralejo at 2 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : at 10 Metres Nearest Beach : Corralejo at 500 Metres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands and is very popular for surfers. The nearby sand dunes go on for miles and boast lovely beaches protected from development (clothes are optional). Lanzarote can be seen from Corralejo and there are regular ferries. The apartment is suitable for everyone! Families, water sport enthusiasts, people wanting to chill out and relax and those simply wanting to get away from the cold weather in winter time (and now more easily accessible due to more flights being available in the winter from low cost airline operators). If you want entertainment - within walking distance you will find comedy shows, children's discos, a nightclub, bingo, quizzes, kareoke, live music and Elvis (apparently).


Nearest beach is within a 5 minute walk. The sand dunes (a haven for water sports) are within a 5 minute drive.


Nearest airport is 40 minutes drive away (at Puerto del Rosario). Car hire is not necessary as all amenities are very close by. Pick up from the airport can be arranged. Taxi rank and bus stops are situated nearby. Please see our website for a list of airline companies. Fuerteventura is now easily accessible with low cost airlines.


Baku Water Park is situated next door (5 minutes walk) and offers seal lion shows, water flumes and wave pools etc. The golf course at Calete de Fuste is 40 minutes drive away. Oasis Park Zoo at La Lajitas is just over an hour's drive away (free daily bus available) which has many animals, camel rides, parrot shows, beautiful gardens and children's parks. Bentacuria, Villa Verde and El Cotillo are within half an hours drive and well worth a visit for museums etc.

Further Details:

Activities are available near to the apartment such as: Trips to Lanzarote - around the active volcano, shopping, etc. Excursions to Oasis Park Zoo, surfing lessons, scuba diving, dolphin watching, shark fishing, scuba diving courses, quad bike tours on the dunes, etc. Full details are given in the apartment and can be organised from a kiosk located just across the road.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is on the ground floor and is therefore suitable for families with small children and people with mobility problems. Check in time on day of arrival is 1500hrs, and check out time on the day of departure is 1100hrs to allow for cleaning and inspection. However, we always aim to be flexible - please ask for details. There is free internet in the apartment available for guests and many nearby bars and restaurants also have free wifi. Outside: The apartment is in a very good position within the private and quiet complex. The terrace has its own path leading onto a south facing pool area where there are always plenty of sun beds available. The childrens pool is easily visible from the terrace. There is a BBQ for alfresco meals and seating for 6. For extra security and protection from the sun, the apartment now has shutters on all windows and terrace doors. Utility Room: No utility room, but apartment features a washing machine, iron and ironing board, plus a clothes airer on terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Indoor and beach towels are included. All bedding and plenty of pillows are supplied. Price includes midstay linen change (or discount) for holidays of 14 nights or more. There is a charge for additional linen changes - please enquire. Other: For families with young children there is a travel cot with bedding and a high chair.
