Large 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment, 1st floor (lift access) on small, quiet, complex, furnished in a modern style. Sea views, communal pool. Large balcony with wonderful views over complex and out to sea. The beautiful beach is approx. 7 min walk with 2 others nearby. The old Spanish port of Porto Cristo is 2 miles away (5 mins by car) and has many wonderful restaurants and bars in the summer (quieter over the winter months) many overlooking the harbour and the luxury yachts that moor there. A great location for exploring the east coast coast and central Mallorca. The caves are one of the largest tourist attractions on the island. Also nearby: zoo/safari park, aquarium, tennis, golf, diving centres and watersports.

We love the whole island of Mallorca. It is so varied and has something for everyone. We bought our apartment as it ticked all the boxes - pool, near beach, near a town but with piece and quiet. The local area has many reasonable and wonderful restaurants, many with sea views. The closest town of Porto Cristo is a picturesque port with lots of day trippers who leave in the evenings. Many locals live in the area all year round and some shops are open even in winter making it a great destination year round.

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Cala Anguila a beautiful, blue flag, sandy beach is easy stroll away. This is a beautiful sandy cove with turquoise blue waters and has a life guard in the summer months. There is also a beach bar and restaurant. This is perfect, and just the place to enjoy the sunshine. Next door to this, approx. 15 mins from apartment, is an equally pretty beach with numerous restaurants, shops and a luxury hotel.

Travel:

Approx 50 minute drive from Palma Airport - a very easy route. Car hire is recommended to fully appreciate this beautiful island, but is not essential. You can also book transfers with companies such as "Resort Hoppa" from around £15 each way. Great value flights are offered by Easyjet, Monarch, Ryanair, BMI, First Choice amongst many others. For those who don't like flying, you can always catch a train to Barcelona and then take a catamaran from Barcelona to Palma.

Distances:

Beach 1 - 7 min walk.Beach 2 - 20 min walk.Porto Cristo - 30 min walk/5 min drive.Caves of Drach - less than 2 miles.Palma - 1 hour drive.Porto Cristo is about 20 mins walk from the apartment and is on a flat walking & cycling surface. There are 3 beautiful sandy beaches all within walking distance. All are stunning and very safe, the local beach Cala Anguila, has been awarded the blue flag. Cala Mendia will take 5 minutes to reach in the car.

Further Details:

Local shop and fantastic restaurant just a 5 min walk from the apartment. Supermarkets, banks, chemists etc all in Porto Cristo - 2 miles. Perfect location for those who enjoy peace and quiet, unspoilt beaches, walking, cycling, swimming, golfing, tennis or just the sunshine! Complex is lovely, in the residential area of Cala Magrana. It has beautiful gardens, with palm trees and surrounds a very large swimming pool and is facing the sea. Absolutely stunning views to the sea from this apartment. There is a local corner shop, within a 5 minute walk from the complex. Also a local restaurant within a 5 minute walk, the local beach Cala Anguila, which has a beach bar/cafe on it, is also a 5 minute walk away. Porto cristo town is a 25 minute walk away, or 5 minutes in the car. In Porto Cristo town you will find 3 large supermarkets, lots of restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a local market in Porto Cristo, held every sunday morning. The next resort, Cala Mendia is a 15 minute walk away or 5 minutes in the car, here you will also find a lovely beach with a beach bar/restaurant and also lots of shops/restaurants to choose from. Here you can catch a little open aired land train that will take you into Porto Cristo. There is also a good local bus service to Palma and all other local areas. There is a local tourist attraction nearby in Porto Cristo "caves de drach" this is also within 20 minute walking distance from the complex. Tennis courts are 5 minutes walk from the complex. These tennis courts are open all year round. You can take a boat trip or even a glass bottom boat trip, from Porto Cristo to many near by beaches/resorts. Internet wifi available on the complex.

Off peak this is flexible, however during Summer, please note these will be on SATURDAYS ONLY. Check in and out times are set 10am departure and 4pm arrival times unless agreed in writing prior to arrival.

A 25% non refundable deposit payable at time of booking. Balance required 6 weeks before travel (by bank transfer). A damage deposit of £100 is also required. For late bookings, full payment required at time of booking. Cancellations minus 25% deposit, within 4 weeks minus 50% (unless medical note or similar). An 80 euro departure clean charge is also required.

Outside: Enjoy the large private balcony overlooking the gorgeous complex and wonderful sea view beyond. The fabulous pool is framed by beautiful landscaped gardens, naturally shaded with palm trees. A wonderful place to sit and relax. Utility Room: washing machine, washing airer, iron,ironing board, vacuum, Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels provided. Bring own beach towels. Other: This beautiful apartment has a large terrace overlooking the beautiful manicured gardens and swimming pool and also has stunning panoramic views to the sea. The communal private swimming pool also has a child's swimming pool attached, with a pool shower.
