Penthouse Apartment in Triq il Kortoll Xaghra, Gozo - Set On The Outskirts Of The Peaceful Village Of Xaghra

A luxury penthouse in Xaghra with breathtaking views in a very peaceful area of this well known village that boasts the oldest free standing building in the world - Ggantija Temples a world heritage site.All doors and windows are made from thermal aluminum and double glazed. Fly screens are fitted to all outside apertures. The property is just a few minutes from two of Gozo's most popular beaches Marsalforn and Ramla and close to the centre of Victoria. The property consists of a very spacious open plan living room/ dinning and kitchen that gives onto a large terrace (10 x 4.5m) with spectacular views. It is furnished with a very comfortable sofa and armchairs as well as cable TV. The proerty has underfloor heating and air condition both available at an extra charge.

the amazing terrace is a perfect place to relax

Noel organised our transfers from the airport in Malta to the ferry then on to the apartment. This was excellent and we just had to pay the driver 37 euros for the whole journey. The penthouse apartment has everything you need for a perfect get away from it all relaxing holiday. The views from the terrace are amazing looking down the valley to Marsalform. The prpoerty is very clean and even has beach towels provided for the sunbeds on the terrrace. The village of Xaghra has plenty of good restaurants to eat in each night. There is a little grocery shop a few hundred yards away that stocks all the basics.Also there is a large supermarket in the centre of Xaghra and 2 butchers. Noel left us a welcome pack on our arrival which was very thoughtful as we arrived very late. We have stayed in Xaghra before but this accommodation is a real gem of a place. We wouldn't stay anywhere else again now we have found this little oasis of tranquility. We have already booked dates for next year. A plunge pool would make this penthouse perfect. Thank you Noel for your excellent hospitality.

A fantastic getaway on a fantastic island

I can't praise Noel's penthouse highly enough. It's built to maximise the wonderful views of the sweeping valley down to Malsaform and the sea. It's only a short walk to the heart of the historic hilltop village of Xaghra with its beautiful chapel, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is wonderfully fitted out with all mod cons and has a fantastic terrace that's perfect for a few drinks or a meal whilst drinking in the views. Noel himself is a warm and genial host and always at hand to help if needed. In short, I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Gozo and will defintirely be staying there again when next on the island

Activity and Interests


The property is just a few minutes from two of Gozo's most popular beaches Marsalforn - and close to the centre of Victoria. The property is just a few minutes drive from 2 of Gozo's most popular beaches.


Malta is now served by an ever growing number of Airlines including Ryan Air and Easyjet. You fly into Malta International Airport from where we can organise pickups to take you to the car ferry that is 25k away. The ferry crossing to Gozo takes 20 minutes and the property is a 10 minute drive awy.


Gozo is a mall island but we do recommend a self drive car. This can be organised by our local garage. at very reasonable rates.

Further Details:

Gozo enjoys a wealth of antiquities. with a history that dates back 7000 years. There are spectacular walks round the island and lots of activities from scuba diving to horse riding.
