Alcossebre, Costa del Azahar, Spain - 5 Minutes Walk To The Town Center And Beach

CASTELLON AIRPORT VIA RYANAIR FROM BRISTOL AND STANSTEAD FROM 15/16 SEPTEMBER 2015 ! A Twenty minute taxi ride away. This ground floor apartment has it's own large terrace with a communal garden, pool and toddlers pool. It is only five minutes walk from the town centre with shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment is situated just behind the centre of Alcossebre.

A recent Sunday Times review (19th April 2015) stated that Alcossebre is "a coastal village that still feels like a personal discovery: because of strict planning laws it has escaped the high-rise development that has swept other parts of the coast.

>>> The main attraction here is the pristine long, sandy beaches and safe, clean waters. On Playa de las Fuentes for example, a freshwater spring comes down from the mountains crossing the beach and flowing into the sea."

What a fantastic holiday. John & Sally are the nicest people and so very helpful. The apartment is spot on and had everything we needed and was completely spotless when we arrived.

Just What We Wanted

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely two bedroomed apartment, ground floor with a pool within arm's reach. Out of the centre of town, but still within walking distance of beaches and restaurants, and shuffling distance from a well stocked supermarket. Tastefully furnished with all mod cons including wifi, our stay here was exactly what we wanted. John and Sally are on site if needed, which was helpful. I would happily recommend both the apartment and the area, and would specifically recommend the short trip to Peniscola, and El Pinar to eat.

Excellent, relaxed,couldn't ask for more

The apartment was exactly as described. We have stayed numerous times in this area. It is still very Spanish, relaxed and charming. We took our two boys, aged 12 and 6. They, as we enjoyed the two weeks. The small complex was beautifully maintained, the lawns and gardens beautiful. Our apartment had everything you need for a short or extended visit. It was beautifully clean and comfortable. John and Sally met us on our arrival, and we're very welcoming and on hand throuout if we needed them.

My wife had previously been nervous about travel accommodation! Now she wants to return to the same apartment for our future holidays.

Both boys gave it 10 out of 10.

My opinion, everything about the holiday was excellent, great family holiday and very good value for money. Not including the usual aspects of Ryanair

John and Sally deserve the highest praise possible.

Coast/Beach:

There are 5 beaches in Alcossebre the closest is only a 10 minute walk. The marina is approx 15 minutes walk away with bars and restaurants aplenty.

Travel:

CASTELLON AIRPORT WILL BE SERVED BY RYANAIR FROM BRISTOL AND STANSTEAD AS FROM 15/16 SEPTEMBER 2015. Twenty minutes in a taxi.

Traveling time from Reus airport by car is approx 1 hour 15 minutes. From Valencia airport approx 1 hour 15 minutes.

Distances:

The city of Valencia is an hours drive. With Castellon about a 30 minute drive. Peniscola old town is about 20 minutes drive away with it's fortified walls.

Further Details:

Alcossebre has numerous banks, restaurants and bars with a good selection of shops including supermarkets (Two minute walk) butchers, fruit and vegetable shops etc. Please ask for details regarding their exact locality (all close)
