Guestbook comments from the owner

4/7/2012 - "Without stating the obvious it is difficult to know what to write - to my eye the view down the Kyle is one of the best in Scotland; so fortunate then that Shore Cottage has been situated where it is and appointed to such a high standard."

9/6/12 - "Really beautiful cottage, everything we needed and more. Really comfy beds and the softest pillows. The quality of furnishings is excellent. The cottage is a credit to the owners."

Luxury cosy cottage in a stunning location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Shore Cottage for four days over Christmas, with my parents. The weather was wild, but that didn't matter in the slightest - the view was constantly stunning, the cottage is fantastically well appointed and equipped and lovely and warm and comfortable. We saw otters less than 50 metres from the window. It was a perfect place to spend our Christmas - and my parents have already re-booked for the spring!

Fantastic property in beautiful surroundings

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is perfect! It has well designed, modern, good quality fixtures and fittings. The cottage has an excellent lay out and is warm and comfortable, with magnificent views. It is well situated for walks straight from the cottage. There are beautiful beaches in the area and interesting coastal and hill walks.

On our way home but just had to write this review.......What a cottage......What a location.........words fail me!

The cottage is simply the best! Fully equipped with everything you could need, modern and spotlessly clean.

Superb location meant that even with a mixed bag of weather it didn't stop us from getting out and about walking and watching the wildlife.

Booking is easy and Roz is on hand for any assistance or local advice and information.

It will be a long while until we will stop talking about and remembering this holiday.

Highlight of our holiday was our visit to Handa Island, well worth the 25 mins to get to the ferry and then seeing the Puffins was amazing.
