An excellent property in an excellent location

The booking process was very good - prompt responses and detailed information The apartment was in great condition and Cheryl , who was there to meet us , couldn't have been more helpful - she even got us some beers as we were arriving late The apartment has everything you could need and the TV system is a bonus The location is good - supermarkets very close, easy 10 minute walk to main beach and a friendly pool bar that serves good food until late at night Everyone in our party - my wife and I ( mature couple ,!! ) and our 2 grown up sons who stayed for a week had a great time

This property is excellent value for money and the best we have had in our 5 visits to Portugal

Ideal holiday apartment for a family

Very comfortable and spacious apartment in great location - near to the beach but in a quiet neighbourhood. The pool and bar next door were very handy too, as well as the great bakery in the adjacent building. The air-conditioning was much appreciated.

Location

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Probably the best beach in the Algarve, the wide mile-long Atlantic strip of sand is only 10-15 minutes walk away. There is a boardwalk along the beach which is lit at night, giving access to many beach bars and restaurants. Daytime activities include water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, pedalos, and beach sports.

Travel:

Faro airport is 45 minutes to 1 hour drive along the A22 dual carriageway. A car is not essential, everything you really need is within walking distance. Google Earth co-ordinates 37.125625, -8.539513.

Distances:

Praia da Rocha has all the shops you will need for your holiday. Portimao, which is a mid size commercial town with hypermarkets and retail parks, is only 2km away. There are excursions available within walking distance to take you the water slide park (7km away) off road safaris, and other places of interest.

Praia da Rocha has supermarkets, shops, cafes, a cinema, a casino, a bowling alley, tennis courts, a marina, dolphin safaris, bars, discos and every kind of restaurant.
