I have done holiday letting (both in Spain & the UK) for over 20 years and believe I do it to a professional standard.

I have many repeat customers which is always very heartening.

I try to equip my apartment on the Costa del Sol with as many 'home comforts' as possible so that my guests will enjoy their holiday. It is also very well equipped for a long winter booking.

I always visit my apartment in May & October each year to 'do a blitz' and sort out any general cleaning issues, replace breakages, crockery etc. My agents (Cariba Sol) have looked after my apartment for 20 years and organise cleaning & repairs etc. A brand new kitchen, with all new appliances was fitted in 2013.

Holiday in Riviera del Sol

We had a lovely week in Riviera del Sol staying in this very clean and tidy apartment. You get exactly what it says on the tin with all the equipment that is needed to help you enjoy your stay. The pool area was very quiet for August and was very clean too.

The supermarket and restaurants etc are only 5 minutes walk away, I would recommend giving Max Beach club a try not cheap but good quality as was La Plaza restaurant another worth a visit. There are many others a few more minutes walk away in Calahonda around El Zocos something for everyone from cheapish Italian to Chinese.

A morning walk along the in the boardwalk to La Cala is a must and on the way back stop at Antonios for breakfast always tasty and good value.

There is a taxi rank just outside the complex which comes in very handy if you need it.

The whole experience was very good from contacting the owner who was very quick to reply to our initial enquiry and any questions that arose later to finding the apartment exactly as we had hoped for. No doubt we would like to return and of course would recommend this apartment to friends and relatives.

Great apartment in a good location

Lovely apartment in a nice development close to.the beach, some shops including 2 supermarkets and restaurants. We stayed as a family with teenagers who enjoyed the pool and being able to walk to.the shops.

Pool.is a nice size and kept clean. The apartment has everything you need for your stay.

It's location near the main coast road is great for visiting other beaches and places of interest. We loved Capobino beach with free parking and beautiful clear water. We also visited Mijas pueblo in the mountains with breathtaking views.

There are quite a few restaurants nearby and we liked mamma nostras for pizzas and try the mixed fried fish and seafood.

Rosie' s bar will.print your boarding passes for free.

All in all nice little place.

Perfect Apartment and Location

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Riviera Del Sol. Jaramar location is perfect for exploring the Costa Del Sol and Marbella district, with a bus service which runs every 30 mins between Fuengirola and Marbella. All amenities are within easy walking distance i.e. Supermarkets, Bar, Restaurants & Taxi. The beach is close-by and has a beautiful boardwalk which runs into

LaCala. We enjoyed walking early morning and evenings.

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly require. Situated in a small, gated complex, with beautiful gardens and pool area which is very well maintained on a daily basis.

Communications with the owner Christine Bennett were second to none. Her attention to detail including brochures, direction details and maps which we found to be of great assistance to ourselves.

I highly recommend this apartment which we found to be in a perfect location and great value for money.

Hopefully we too may return at some point in the future.

Fabulous apartment in a beautiful area

My husband & I had a fabulous holiday in this lovely homely, spotlessly clean, ideally located apartment. We are regular renters of properties abroad & this was up there with the best. It had everything we needed apart from the wifi (which was being installed after our stay) but we were able to use wifi in the local cafe/bars. The grounds to the apartment were so pretty & well maintained, with the addition of a pool. Christine was so helpful & easy to deal with. The location of the apartment was perfect, literally 5mins from the beach-walking. There is a boardwalk that goes on for 4.5k with beautiful scenery (perfect for jogging on a sunny morning) with many refreshment stops all the way to La Cala. Marbella & Puerto Buenos are around 20-30mins away. Although we hired a car you could manage without as there are supermarkets in walking distance & the bus service is excellent too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & intend to return some time.

Location

From the Owner

Climate! Location is perfect for anyone who doesn't want to hire a car. It is just 5 mins walk to the local beach (either by footbridge or underpass). Bus stops are also nearby (5 mins walk). Regular & cheap buses take you to Fuengirola in one direction or Marbella in the other direction. You can also book coach trips (to Ronda, Gibraltar, Alhambra, Seville, Mijas & many more places) & the pick up point is just 5 mins walk. There is also a train (from Fuengirola) which runs along the coast to Malaga. There are bars, restaurants, shops, beach bars, entertainment, etc all within easy walking distance.

Special interest holidays:

Fishing trips (overnight) can be booked locally.

Coast/Beach:

5 mins walk to local beach (reached by footbridge over the road or by underpass about 5/10 mins away. Beaches in this area don't get busy as they are away from tourist hotels. There are 2 beach bars close by which have sun loungers & parasols to hire. There is also a garden bar (ie you walk up steps from the beach & the bar is in a pretty garden area). There are many other beaches area which you can drive to and park nearby. Cabopino (10 mins) has a sandy beach by the port & restaurants nearby.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 25 mins drive away (very easy journey as there is a motorway). Hire car would be useful but is not essential as apartment is only a few mins walk to bus stops and buses are easy, frequent and inexpensive. Coach trips can be booked nearby and pick up point is only 5 mins walk away. Local shops, bars, restaurants etc are all within walking distance.

Distances:

Tivoli Amusement Park 18km.

Fuengirola Aqua Park 12km.

Gibraltar 2 hrs drive.

Fuengirola 12km.

Marbella 18km.

Puerto Banus 20km.

Malaga 35km.

Ronda 60km.

Mijas 20km.

Gibraltar (not sure how many km's - it's approx 2 hr drive or you can go by coach)

Other places of interest for a day trip (by car or coach) are Alhambra Palace, Cordoba, Seville, Granada.

Further Details:

The very large local supermarket is superb and stocks many English products. There is also a 'One Stop' type of supermarket which is open for extended hours 7 days a week - very useful if you arrive late in the evening or on a Sunday! There is a bank nearby with a cash machine & a money change office. English newspapers are available.

Other services locally include: laundrette, car hire, coach trip bookings, pharmacy, internet services (nearest is at Miraflores).

Within a 10 min drive there are lots more eating places to suit all tastes. Try La Cala or Calahonda as well as Cabopino port.

As well as Golf, there are water sports of every description. There's a water park at Fuengirola, plus parasailing, dolphin trips, scuba diving & power boats (the same at Cabopino). Horse riding can be booked at La Cala.

Club Miraflores (5 mins walk) is a superb venue for an evening of of good food & entertainment (booking is advised to avoid disappointment).

Max Beach is a superb venue for lunch or dinner. It is located right on the beach front (5 mins walk).

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: There is full air-conditioning (coin operated). The air-conditioning can also be operated as heaters in the winter. There are also 2 oil filled electric radiators for use in the winter. The apartment is suitable for children. Cot hire is available - £18 per week (NB please bring your own cot bedding) (Travel cot can be borrowed free of charge). The pool area can be seen from the balcony so older children can be supervised easily. If you need a 2nd apartment on the same development then I can recommend another owner who advertises on this website (property ref S22640). His property has 3 bedrooms. There is also another apartment that I can recommend on a nearby development (5 mins away). This apartment is also advertised on this website (property ref is S10507). Outside: Swimming pool is shared (with 22 apartments). The complex is very rarely fully occupied so the pool area is often underused. Pool is not heated. There is a BBQ for general use (which must be cleaned after use). There is an outside picnic table for general use. No pool side loungers are provided. Towels are just placed directly onto the grass around the pool. (There are several fold up 'beach pads' which can be taken down to the pool area). There are several trees around the pool area for shade & also fixed parasols. A parasol is provided in the apartment for further shade. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen provided (sheets, blankets, pillowcases, teatowels & 1 towel per person & plenty of beach towels). Price includes laundry & changeover clean at end of stay but no extra cleaning/laundry during stay (washing machine provided or laundrette nearby).
