Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully air-conditioned and radiators provide any heating required. A cot and high chair are available for children at a minimal extra charge. The apartment is ideally located between the tennis academy and Barringtons on the Avenida das Acacias. Outside: The front of the apartment is on a very quiet small one way road for local properties, lined with palm and pine trees. The rear of the apartment overlooks lawned gardens with pine and palm trees. The area is very peaceful and quiet and you will soon realise why Vale do Lobo has been voted Europe's most luxurious beach resort. Guests have free use of the large communal pool, cafe, bar and restaurant at the Tennis Academy just four minutes walk away. Facilities also include a gym, sauna, massage, internet access and 14 tennis courts (local charge applies). Utility Room: Utility cupboard housing ironing board, broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, hairdryer and washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid Service weekly. Bed Linen and bathroom towels are supplied and changed once a week. Please note we do not provide beach towels. Other: All rooms are non-smoking, smoking is permitted on the sun terrace. Cot (with bedding) and highchair available if required at extra cost. Perfect 'home From home' break in Vale do Lobo

Our family have recently returned from a wonderful and relaxing stay at Andrews villa in Vale do lobo. The villa is modern, very clean and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. We appreciated the villa being on the ground floor as it is both 'safe' for children and provides a lovely aspect when dining or relaxing on the lovely patio area, it also provided some relief in the afternoon from the hot weather. We found the beds very comfortable and my husband was chuffed that there was a full satelite tv service and free wifi p,us the air con was great. Vale do lobo itself offers wonderful restaurants and a nice beach, it is both safe and beautifully landscaped. We particularly enjoyed 'Vale de Garraro' beach (not sure if spelling is correct) just a few minutes drive away. There are so many things to do in the area. Alamancil (nearby) is a lovely village offering great restaurants, supermarkets and the karting track is fab plus inexpensive. We would recomend this villa to families, couples or single people. Very nice break

Had a lovely stay at this apartment, very clean and modern. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Vale do Lobo is a lovel place and right next to the equally impressive Quinta do Lago...would certainly advise to book a car to get around the Algarve.

RESORT: Nice enough resort but far too sterile for our liking. Much of the resort facilities were closed (no mention before arrival or at time of booking) and lots of building work going on in adjoining apartments didn't make for a restful stay as works often started before 8am each morning. In terms of food, the majority of eatery options catered for English tastes with no real Portugese food on offerings. APARTMENT: Pleasant enough on initial arrival but I have left covered in what looks like bed bug bites and am off to the Doctor tomorrow to resolve, cleaning left a lot to be desired, old poor quality towels, stains on mattresses, bed linen would have been far nicer if it had been cotton rather than poly cotton and man made fibres and lacking aforementioned critters. Finally, sun lovers beware but the orientation of terrace meant it got little sun!

Owner's Response: Thank You for your comments regarding our apartment, I would like to try and address the issues raised. Vale do Lobo is an award winning resort, you visited in February, and like any resort it is much quieter in the winter months compared to the liveliness in the summer. Most people go during the low seasonfor the golf or to relax on the fabulous beaches. However if you want more entertainment, it is probably best to hire a car and explore the wider area. There are many restaurants of a variety of cuisine within a 5 minute drive. We are always made aware of any infrastructure work carried out to maintain the general high standards in Vale do Lobo, however we would not be made aware if any individual work was going on in adjacent private apartments. The issue of the linen is more concerning for us, we have had the same management company for over four years, and we rely on them to ensure a high standard and maintain the upkeep of the apartment, your comments are being looked into. Up until now we have had 5* comments over the last few years, we want to maintain these standards for our clients, many of whom return.

Ideal for Winter Snowbirds!

We spent 3 weeks in January in Andrews Apartment. This is a lovely property, clean, recently refurbished, and close to all that VDL has to offer even at this quiet time of year. The apartment itself is fully equipped and was very comfortable for two golfing pensioners! The fully loaded sports satellite TV was called into action and very welcome, as was the excellent wifi.

Despite the cool January evenings the AC units kept us very comfortable. Many of the local restaurants were closed for the quiet season but the golf courses were in full swing and it was a great escape from the Northern winter.

We would be happy to return to this apartment again! Thank you Andrew.

Changeover Day:
Arrival dates are usually Thursday to Saturday. However if there is space in the booking calendar then we can accept mid week bookings or bookings for 10 days or short stays etc. Arrival after 3.00pm departure by 10.00am flexible if not on a swap-over day
