4 bed villa in Toscal, 3 mins drive to Consum and Aldi supermarkets, 5 min drive to beach the beach.

A very quiet, modern, spacious villa with large lawns in a totally enclosed gardens. Just five mins drive to the friendly Javea beach with its great boardwalk, bars and restaurants. The villa is located in one of the oldest and most prestigious urbanisations in Javea with many local owner/occupiers. Beautiful south facing views all along the Toscal Valley from the three outside eating/living areas which are all shaded. It is close to many golf courses and kid based activities. Very comfortable and only recently undergone a complete refurbishment with all new furniture, appliances, air cons and kitchen equipment.

My husband and I have owned the villa for 11 years and up until we moved to Singapore spent every available holiday there with our two young daughters.

Since it is a bit far to come now, (although we still try to make it at least once a year), we have opened it up for holiday rentals.

Why Sian Muthusamy chose Javea, Moraira and Denia Area

We had rented a villa when our first daughter was a baby in Toscal and loved the family friendly nature of Javea, (the beach is such a winner for kids). It has the perfect mix of Spanish and (for when you want it) English, so we started to look for a place to buy.

The arenal can get very busy in the Summer, so we wanted to be just far enough away for our villa to be tranquil, but easy to get there when necessary. We also wanted an area that has many owner/occupiers; nothing ruins a holiday more that lots of rowdy holiday makers who maybe aren't looking for the same level of peace and quiet that you are!

Halfway between Alicante and Valencia gives a good choice of budget flights (even Madrid at a stretch), and car hire is so easy.

What makes this villa unique

The villa was designed by an architect hence its unusual, not so traditional spanish design, but we love its modern quirkiness.

The bedrooms are all downstairs and stay cool despite the sun. The showers are all nice and powerful.

A large flat lawn is not so common in Spain, but we find with the children it's invaluable, and the many places to dine or just sit around the villa means you get plenty of different outlooks.

Realising that it was starting to look a bit tired, in 2013 we embarked on a total refurbishment of the villa. Complete redecoration, all new appliances, new kitchen equipment, linens and furniture, satellite tv and WiFi. We moved the main outdoor eating area from beside the pool to a new pergola slightly further away and installed sofas for a more relaxed pool area. The upstairs terrace gives great views of the valley and perfect sunsets.

Notes on accommodation: There is plenty of car parking space inside the grounds. The villa is situated on a no through road, so has no through traffic. It is central heating so can be used all year. Outside: Large enclosed, flat lawns totally surround the villa, (great for ball games) and a private 10m x 4m pool which stays sunny all day, but also has shaded seating area and sunbeds, wind out awnings and hurricane blinds. Overlooking the pool is a dining pergola which is lit for evening dining and has a large Weber gas BBQ. The upstairs terrace dining facilities and has wind out awnings with stunning views down the valley and beautiful sunsets. The garden has orange and lemon trees which you are more than welcome to pluck if you see ripe ones..! Utility Room: The washing machine is located in the garage, just next to the kitchen and with easy access to the outdoor washing line. The is also an iron and board and additional fridge/freezer in the garage to cope with any overspill from the kitchen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: House towels and linen are included and can be changed weekly with an additional maid service (charge applies). Pool/beach towels are to be provided by guests. A welcome pack can also be arranged prior to arrival. Other: There is also a dining room for when the weather does not comply, which is open plan with the living room and next to the kitchen.

October villa rental

A fabulous villa for our October holidays. It has all the elements we want from a luxury villa and the views are amazing. Weather has been delightful and the villa is well stocked with kitchenware, and the interior is modern and beautifully decorated. We could easily have more people to stay bit it's been lovely having all this space to ourselves and e joking the pool and outdoor areas! We will definitely be back!

What a find!

Fabulous villa set in beautiful surroundings. All home comforts on tap. Well stocked kitchen, absolutely spotlessly clean.

Immaculately clean bedrooms, generous sizes with air on, spotless towels and bedding. Very comfortable beds.

Private pool with seating and sunbathing area, extremely relaxing and private.

3 generous eating areas with fantastic views.

Close to beach, restaurants and supermarkets.

A fabulous stay, real home from home which we could not fault in any way.

Highly recommend and great value.

We'll definitely be back.

Great family villa

This is a fantastic villa which was perfect for my family of 5 children, ages ranging from 16 to 6. Many days, we didn't leave the premises at all because we enjoyed just hanging around the pool and BBQ ing. We ate outside under the pergola every day. There are nearby supermarkets and plenty of places to eat out. The villa has all the amenities you might want and plenty of kitchen equipment. Great place, and we're already planning to go back next year.

Car: recommended


Javea beach is about 2km away (bus stop to beach 750m). It is a sandy, child friendly beach with climbing frames on the wide sand, and the water has a gentle slope and is shallow for quite a distance. In the Summer there is a diving boon out to sea, child movies on a large screen on the beach and a nightly market on the boardwalk. Denia and Moraira beaches are both less than 10km away and are both sandy. Javea also has many hidden pebble coves which are less busy in the Summer than the arenal.


Valencia and Alicante airports 1 hour 15 mins. Car hire is recommended but not essential.


Javea beach 5 mins drive. Javea town 1km (with banks and larger supermarkets). Javea Old Town (Market day on Thurs) 15 mins drive. Denia 10km. Moraira 10km. Gata de Gorgos (Craft shops) 5km. Valencia 100km. Safari Park 30 mins drive. Benidorm Theme/water parks 40 mins drive. Waterfalls 40 mins drive. Shopping mall 25 mins.

Further Details:

Javea is a very tourist friendly town. Plenty of UK favorites available alongside traditional Spanish fare. The port area is less busy than the arenal but has great restaurants and bars. There is also rock pooling nearby and beach bars appear on the sea front during the Summer. The old town has some great little boutiques and old churches along it's little alleyways, and a great fresh meat/fish/veg markets open daily to keep the BBQ going. There is a small nightly funfair for the children 5 mins drive from the villa. Benidorm has plenty of theme and water parks, and Valencia has the amazing Arts and Science City, (along with great shopping!). Further inland are villages in the hills full of character and vineyards and the spring waterfalls are very refreshing in the hot Summer!

Javea has many lively fiestas during the year which are enjoyed by locals and tourists alike, and many Spaniards take their holidays here.

A new shopping mall has opened 25 minutes away if the sun decides not to shine (Zara, H&M etc) and banks are a 5 minute drive. An Aldi and Consum supermarket are only 3 minutes drive which cover pretty much everything you might need.

We use an English owned management company in Javea to run the villa, so should there be any hiccups while you are there, there are no problems getting them resolved quickly.
