Apartment in Albufeira, Central Algarve, Portugal - Great Central Location For Beaches And Restaurants

Located by the water fountain roundabout in the new part of Albufeira, this modern, air-conditioned, spacious, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is ideally situated for the beaches, shops, restaurants and golf course. A 35 minutes drive from Faro airport. Parque da Corcovada complex was built in 2006 to a very high specification. On the complex there are two restaurants, a children's play area and mini golf. This apartment has advantage of overlooking the main pool which is surrounded by gardens. There is also a children's pool. The pools are restricted access by specific apartment key holders only. Praia D'Oura beach is the nearest beach( maximum of a 20 minute walk), which has snack bars and water sports. There is also Santa Eulalia beach which is a quieter beach but a little further away (approx 22 minutes walk). Fisherman's beach and the marina in the old town are also only 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes in a taxi. Balaia Golf course is 5 minutes by car.

I've always loved Portugal since wife and I went there on our honeymoon.When we were looking to buy and the agents showed us this new development at Parque da Corcovada we instantly decided to buy as the location was perfect and the apartment such a high standard .I would have no hesitation in telling people to come to Portugal. We like that the apartments are quite and secure , with their own security watchmen! yet it has the benefit of being so close to a lovely beach down the strip. We love going back to Albufeira as you don't need to drive and we love the variety of restaurants you can go to and the long beach walks you can go on, we often walk the beach route to the old town.

Over the years we have had so many guest returning so we are sure you will also love Albufeira and you will really enjoy yourself!

Fantastic apartment

Everything provided you could possibly need immaculately presented in lovely surrounding ,description from owners was spot on ...booked apartment an transfers through owners fab service

High quality spacious apartment set in lovely gardens yet walking distance to shops, bars and the beach.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Faro at 35 Kilometres Nearest Train : Alburfiera at 35 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Oura at 20 Kilometres Car: not necessary


15 minutes walk to Praia de Oura beach.

20 minutes walk to Santa Eulalia beach.

30 minutes to the beach at Fisherman's bay in the old town.


35km from Faro airport (less than 30 minutes drive). Car hire available at airport or numerous locations around Albufeira. Coach tours can be booked at several agencies for eg to Lisbon, Seville, Fatima etc. Transfers from/to airport can be arranged. Tour buses go from the new town to the old town every 20 minutes at 2 euros per adult. There is a public bus service which circles the town which runs every 20 minutes from across the


The apartment is ideally situated for the central shops, bars and restaurants of the new town. There is a restaurant on the development at Club Corcovada, and the main area known as 'The strip' is less than 5 minutes walk. The water park is 10 minutes by taxi.

Further Details:

The supermarket is less than 5 minute walk away, which has an excellent bakery and butcher.

  • Notes on accommodation: Spacious , high specification and air-conditioned apartment. Suitable for families and couples. On the second floor Block 40 is set in the central gardens and enjoys accesss to the large main pool along with blocks 38 & 39 The Parque da Corcovada development is the newest in Alburferia perfectly situationso it is quite but yet minutes away from the Resturants, bars and shops. Visitors return year after year stating the quaity of the apartment which if graded would be 4 or 5 star. The Lounge is extremly spacious which can be used as a third bedroom. Discounts can be offered for longer periods . Outside: There is a balcony overlooking the central gardens and pools. A second balcony off the master bedroom. The large shared pool, childreens pool and gardens can only be accessedby blocks 38, 39 and 40. Our apartment is in block 40. If you decide to hire a car there is covered parking for two cars in the underground car park as well as parking outside. There is a life guard on the pool during the summer months The pool has ample sun loungers and sun shades There are several beaches in near by the nearest being a 15 minute walk away. The is a small shop across the road for the dailt fresh bread and essentials and larger supermarkets within a short walk. Accross the road is the Corcovade Club restuant and bar which has a childrens play area and crazy golf. There are 3 water parks and Zoomarine for days out, the nearest being 20 minutes away There are plenty of shops on the Strip and in the old town and numerous market stalls and also Shopping Algarve which is 15 minutes by car or tax Utility Room: Built in vacuum cleaner, mop, brushes, iron, ironing board, fire extinguisher and first aid case. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included and additional cleaning during the week available by request. Welcome packs can be arranged. Pick up to and from the airport can be arranged at 60 euros round trip for 4 people. Prices available for larger groups. Other: Video intercom access. Large wardrobe in entrance hall. Lifts.
