A fantastic holiday apartment on two floors, in a lovely part of Spain. A new property with everything you could need to make you holiday comfortable and enjoyable, including WIFI. The pool area a few metres away is kept beautifully clean. Known as one of the healthiest areas in the world, the salt lakes add to the attraction of this part of Spain. You could visit a different coved beach every day. Rexlaxing family or golf holiday, with 5 lovely courses very near.

About Sarah Piper

Russell and Sarah live near Brighton with their two children. The property was purchased from New and has just had new curtains and sofa. We go to our property in Spain often and keep it painted and well maintained. We love to relax on the roof terrace and round the pool area, and as the pool is open till 10pm we often take the kids for a night swim, the pool is lit up.

Why Sarah Piper chose Los Altos

We originally bought in Spain because my husbands father had lived there for 30 years, and my husband spent most of his youth holidaying in Spain. It is a very easy place to get to with Alicante airport 40 mins drive and Murcia only 20 mins drive away. We mostly fly to Alicante as the flights are cheaper and there are more to chose from, that is from Gatwick our nearest airport. We have always hired a car as it is nice to drive to Altea Falls, north of Benidorm, the water park, and to explore some of the many coved beaches along the coast. It is not essential but helps if you want to see around the area.

What makes this apartment unique

There are many bars and restaurants near to us within a 3 min walk and although we are close we never experience any noise. There are a great range of restaurants a 10 minute walk 20 min walk away, lots of choice. The beach is exactly 1 mile away, so can be walked to. The pool with our apartment is really, in my opinion one of the best! see pics!

Notes on accommodation: Highchair and travel cot available. 5 min walk away is a play area for children and basket ball court. Outside: Spacious terrace on first floor and great secluded roof terrace on second floor. Tables chairs on each terrace and a BBQ to be used on either. Range of sun beds, low sitting chairs for the beach, beach mats, tube floats, and many beach toys left behind for you to use, as well as some cars, games, cards, books, toys, etc. Fantastic location for families and excellent pool with a separated area within pool for smaller children only about two and a half feet deep. Utility Room: Washing machine, extra sink and electric water heater. Iron and ironing board. Large cool box, with tupperware, flask etc to take to the beach. Towels / Linen Bath towels and all linen included. Other: Upstiars is a single bed with wardrobe, table and lamp, and patio doors leading to large roof terrace. This area makes a great extra bedroom for one adult or a child. Refund policy: Up to 3 weeks before 50% refund, 100% if dates are re-booked.

This apartment is in a great location, shops, beaches and restaurants all nearby.

The apartment is lovely and the location is superb, easy access to beaches all along the coast the closest being about a 5 minute drive(Playa Flamenca). We had a lovely two weeks and the pool is great for relaxing by, not too crowded but busy occasionally. Lots of restaurants nearby including the White Star at Punta Prima, Leonardos in the commercial centre and the Pappaya Tree also in the commercial centre which I would highly recommend but remember to book, Luna Rossa pizza restaurant is a short walk and I would certainly suggest you try one of their pizzas a family one should serve 3 people easily. La Zenia boulevard shopping centre is also worth a visit. Sarah was very helpful and communication very good prior to departure would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment or this location.

Great Villa in a central location

This villa has everything you could need for a very pleasant stay. Enough room for 5, some English TV channels, bbq, washing machine, 2 minutes from pool.

It's central location means you really don't need a car if you like strolling around, but if you want to explore the area then hire one!

The Zeniamar CC is 5 minute stroll, the Citrus CC 10 mins, the main Playa Flamenca Cente is 15 min walk and even the Punta Prima CC is only 15 walk.

The only small flaw is the lack of air conditioning, however there were enough fans supplied, the a/c would just have been the icing on the cake.

Would we return to this villa? YES! The Zeniamar community is a lovely area and the pool area is beautiful and kept spotless.

Ifyou like walking you can easily walk from Punta Prima right along front to Playa Flamenca, La Zenia and Cabo Roig.

Ifyou want to walk inland Villamartin is around 25 Mins and has the local Plaza.

Espaciosa y se ciñe bastante a las fotos

La tele no se ve ningun canal en castellano(teniendo en cuenta que la casa esta en España) solo canales ingleses, cuando te pegas con dos niños un dia en casa porque llueve a ver que pueden ver ellos, la llegada un caos no hay nadie del entorno de la propiedad que hable castellano a puras penas te indican que te deja la llave bajo la alfombra, el microondas no calienta, un simple vaso de leche al fuego, el solárium segun las normas debes dejarlo todo recogido tengo imagenes de cuando llegue (un verdadero desastre) los tendederos oxidados ..... Somos asiduos a la zona pero no sera en esta propiedad.

Player Flamenca, lots of lovely coved beaches near


The beaches in this area are beautiful, there are several sandy coved beaches within walking distance and you could drive to a different one every day within 5-20 mins. Most of these beaches have toilets and beach bars / cafes. The sand is clean and fine, and on La Zenia beach you can hire peddle boats or jet skis.


Alicante Airport is a 35 min drive, a taxi will cost approx 60 euros, but with a hire car a very easy route straight on the 332. I do have the name of a company that do airport pick ups, for less than taxi rides. Murcia airport is 20 mins drive, again easy route, however, this is a much smaller airport and therefore does not have so many flight, therefore they can be slightly more expensive.


Playa Flamenca is very central, 1 mile from the nearest beach and about 2 miles from a fantastic new shopping mall called Zeniamar boulevard. Torrevieja (big Spanish town) centre is only a 10 minute drive away. It has a large shopping centre on four floors. There is a large water park in Torrevieja, easy to find and sign posted. The motorways are very good and you can reach Benidorm, Alicante, Elche, Orihuela, Cartegena, La Manga and Murcia with ease.

Further Details:

There are several different places to eat within a 5 - 15 min walk, from typical Spanish to pizza, Chinese, Italian etc. You also have a choice of supermarkets walking distance 10 min or some large ones a 5 min drive away. There are two large commercial centres a 10 min walk away with lots of restaurants, bar and supermarket. Here you will also find a cash point. There are lots of lovely places to visit in this area.

A booking deposit of £150 is required to secure booking. This is refundable up to 8 weeks before departure date. A breakages and key deposit of £100 is required with final payment. See booking form for full details. There is also a cleaning fee of 40 euros to be left in the apartment. Thank you.

Changeover Day:
Flexable with arrival and departure dates and times on request, if I have no one in the day before this should be easy, just let me know what you need and I will try to accommodate you.
Monthly rates and long term lets are subject to electric bill payments on top of monthly rates.

Refund Policy: Up to 4 weeks before 50%, I am happy to give 100% back if I manage to re-book the dates.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
