The 'House of the Vines' is situated peacefully amongst the vineyards of Teulada/Moraira. Set in a tranquil location yet within walking distance of the unspoilt village of Teulada and 10 mins drive to Moraira it provides the best of both worlds.

Boasting 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and huge living room/diner giving onto a large patio with BBQ. Further terracing by the private swimming pool and surrounded by extensive gardens, our home is an oasis in the vineyards.

As a couple of people have already said, the finca is even better than the photos show! Lovely and clean with everything you need. Tastefully furnished and comfortable. Outside is heaven with different sitting areas. The hammock in the shade is perfect. The pool area fantastic. We didn't eat out in the evening at all as it was such a pleasure to sit outside in the peace and quiet under the stars. Teulada is a lovely quaint Spanish town and Moraira just down the road. This finca is a lovely piece of paradise tucked away and we were very fortunate to have chosen it. Thank you Victoria

Fantastic house, in a relaxing location

This house provided the best location for our holiday.

The owners were incredibly helpful throughout the booking process and helped us in making the decision whether to hire a car or to use taxis. (We did not hire a car in the end, as we spent most of our time at the house!).

We used taxis on a couple of the evenings to visit Moraira, which cost us 14 euros each way.

We also took the train - the train station is a ten minute walk from the house - to one of the harbours.

But, back to the house itself, as it was just perfect! The house was very clean and tidy. The air con worked brilliantly, and was necessary, for when we went to sleep.The handbook which is provided came in handy, and we used it's recommendations for the restaurants we visited. El Chamizo, in Moraira, was our personal favourite, right on the beach, with beautiful views and fantastic food.

I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday. I would recommend this house to anyone who is in need of a good night's sleep and some sun bathing.

Just perfect

From the first booking to returning the keys Victoria made the whole process hassle free. We arrived at 2am on Saturday morning. Victoria had arranged a very well welcome pack.

The house is situated right in the middle of a vineyard with no neighbours!.so if you want to play your music around the pool you can - as loud as you wish. The house was clean and plenty big enough for the 6 adults that shared it. The kitchen has all the utensils you could wish for if you want to do your own cooking. There is a large lounge with ample seating for 6. The TV is via the internet which can be a little hit and miss. Some of the other properties have the UK Freeview - I don't know if this option is available. If so it would be better. But we weren't there to watch TV. There are 3 good sized bedrooms. Two have a double bed and the third is a twin. 2 bathrooms come in handy with 6 us. Air conditioning is available in each of the bedrooms. Outside is a real pleasure. The first area is a large patio with a covered section where you can eat breakfast lunch and tea. There is a built in BBQ in this area too. A patch leads down to a quiet area with a hammock which in turn leads down to the good sized pool. There is ample room for 6 sun lounges, there is also a covered area to sit in the shade if you so wish. Teulada is a 10 to 15 mins stroll to the centre. You can either walk through the woods or down the 250 yards lane to the main road. The lane is a single unmade track - which at night is completely dark so you may want to take a torch or use your mobile phone. Teulada its self is a small village with a couple of bars and restaurants. He does have a large supermarket. The people who frequent it are mainly Spanish locals or a few British Expats. Benidorm it certainly is not. That's 50 mins down the coast. You can catch a bus into Moraira or a taxi which costs about 12 euros. This holiday was perfect for us. We did not want to travel around much although we did have a hire car. We just wanted to relax by the pool entertain ourselves with the occasional trip into Teulada and Moraira. If you want peace and relaxation this is the place for you. If you want lots of bars restaurants and be able to walk to the beach then its not. We had a great time.

Good Location Very Comfortable

This villa/finca is much better than the pictures portray. Very comfortable, clean and roomy. The outdoor space is plentiful, well maintained and very private being set amid vineyards. Just a 15 minute stroll to the characterful old centre of Teulada and only 10 minutes, via the woodland path, to the local railway station which links to Denia, Calpe, Benidorm and Alicante - very useful if you wish to avoid driving. Moraira is a charming seaside town, about 15 minutes drive away and with a large free car park - the beach is good but very busy in August.

We were met with a lovely welcome pack including 3 bottles of wine and the house was well stocked with those vital consumables which are often missing from rented villas - bin bags, cleaning materials, salt, loo rolls etc. etc..

Some villas advertise satellite TV where the only channel in English is 24 hour news - this one had a huge range of English channels and even access to You Tube - great if you have kids like ours!

I would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful location, with character, and yet within easy reach of facilities.

Traditonal Farmhouse which provides everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday in this lovely, scenic area.

House was unexpectedly spacious and very clean with very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom/shower facilities.

My family and I had a superb holiday in this peaceful and calm location amongst the local vineyards.

We found the property extremely convenient for the local village, bars, restaurants and shops and for visiting the many local attractions.

We all loved the pool which was very clean and well maintained.

Very comfortable sunbeds, tables and chairs are provided.

Will miss our 'barbecue evenings' in the atmostpheric setting provided.

Very useful to have TV showing English programmes, so havn't had to catch up with Eastenders!!! Also internet provided so could keep up to date with what was happening within my business.

We will be back next year!

Costa Blanca's Best Kept Secret Hideaway!

The photos for this delightful holiday home do not do the property justice!

Needless to say, we were VERY pleasantly surprised when we arrived after a very easy 45 minute drive from Alicante Airport.

This traditional Spanish Farmhouse is incredibly spacious and very well equipped both inside and outside.

Large entrance hall, lounge and kitchen. The separate fridge for water, wine and beer bottles is a very helpful touch. You can buy wine in the village for extremely reasonable prices. The white and red wine we liked only cost around 2 Euros per bottle and, believe me, we are fussy with out wines.

Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds and excellent bed linen. Ample storage and, for once, plenty of coathangers.

Having a separate bathroom and shower room was very useful.

Lovely views of the pretty garden from all rooms and the smell of Jasmine from the patio wafting into our bedroom each morning was very special.

The garden is divided into different sections, each section having it's own character. Many species of flowers and plants providing colour and fragrance.

The pool area is amazing. Large, well maintained pool. Ample sunbeds, towels, tables and chairs all provided.

Barbecue area absolutely superb with a brick barbecue and very effective outside lighting. Enhancing many enjoyable balmy evenings.

The Farmhouse is only a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village and the train station.

We caught the train to Denia, which is a must. The train journey only takes 20 minutes and the scenery is spectacular. Especially good if you want to go out to lunch of dinner and not drive.

You can catch a ferry from Denia to Ibiza or Fourventura during the Summer season for only Euros 50 return per person.

We found a superb restaurant on the Marina called Republic Denia, well worth a visit.

Nearer home is the delightful Moraira which is only a 5 minute drive. Here you will find numerous excellent bars and restaurants. Also, sandy beaches.

The local village Thelada has everything you will need. Excellent supermarkets (exceptionally reasonable prices) a central square where you will find a very good selection of bars and restaurants. We particulary like restaurant 'Las Vegas'. It is family run, the food is good and for Euros 15 per person in the evening you get a 3 course meal and a FREE bottle of wine per person!! Can't get better than that. Then you can walk or sway back to the Farmhouse!

All in all a VERY enjoyable holiday.

From the Owner

My mum bought the finca when I was 6 years old. It was just a ruin with a huge apricot tree and a vineyard. She spent many years lovingly transforming the property into a much loved family home. I took over the finca in March 2016 with my partner, my dream since I was a little girl. I have always loved the peace and tranquility, the views across the mountains in the morning and the smell of jasmine wafting through the garden at night. It is my favourite place in the world!

Denia has a beautiful historic centre, lovely beach and great restaurants/bars

Denia is approx. 20 minute by either car or train although parking can be tricky!
