Rustic Farmhouse-peaceful and scenic location with mountain views,10 minutes to Moraira beach

The 'House of the Vines' is situated peacefully amongst the vineyards of Teulada/Moraira. Set in a over an acre of tranquil and beautiful countryside yet within walking distance of the unspoilt village of Teulada and a 10 minute drive to the beaches of Moraira and El Portet, it provides the best of both worlds.

Boasting 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and huge living room/diner giving onto a large patio with BBQ. Further terracing by the private swimming pool and surrounded by extensive gardens, our home is an oasis in the vineyards.

Why Victoria Barry-Jackson chose Moraira

My mum bought the finca when I was 6 years old. It was just a ruin with a huge apricot tree and a vineyard. She spent many years lovingly transforming the property into a much loved family home.

I took over the finca in March 2016 with my partner, my dream since I was a little girl.

I have always loved the peace and tranquility, the views across the mountains in the morning and the smell of jasmine wafting through the garden at night. It is my favourite place in the world!

The unspoilt village of Teulada is a 5 minute walk with its good selection of amenities including banks,chemists,supermarkets, good tapas bars and restaurants.

Moraira is approx a 10 minute drive. This pretty seaside village is full of charm with its many restaurants,bars, shops and beach and excellent market on Fridays.

There is a train station in Teulada where you can catch the train to the historic city of Denia through the mountains. http://www.tramalicante.es/

Denia has a beautiful historic centre, lovely beach and great restaurants/bars

You can also get the ferry to Ibiza from here! www.balearia.com

Denia is approx. 20 minute by either car or train although parking can be tricky!

There are several beaches a short drive along the coast towards Javea, Grenadella, Cala Moraig, Playa de Portixol are stunning rocky beaches with scuba diving possibilities. http://www.scubamoraira.com/

Javea, Denia and further up the coast at Oliva are sweeping sandy beaches.

Notes on accommodation: All bedrooms have split hot/cold air conditioning and living room has ceiling fan and a woodburner. All rooms have central heating. Outside: Large patio with table and chairs and built in BBQ - perfect for al fresco meals. Large garden and private 8m x 4m pool with sunloungers. Utility Room: washing machine, iron, ironing board, first aid, hoover IMPORTANT: Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels, linen and beach towels provided. Property and linen cleaned before and at end of each rental. If you would like an extra clean mid-stay, this can be arranged with the cleaner, payable locally. There will be a £100 charge for laundry and cleaning for up to 6 people. The linen provided will only accommodate the guests listed. Any extra guests will be charged 20 Euros per person. This will be added to the total bill

Fantastic villa and close to all amenities

From our very first contact with Victoria, before we arrived, during our stay and on our departure she was absolutely first class in responding to any questions we had, the villa was fantastic, a great pool area, quite garden and excellent sitting area outside for breakfast or evening meals, we ate out a few times but mostly had barbecues, we found this villa very well equipped and had everything we needed, the air con was great in the bedrooms and needed when hot, also there was extra fans to keep cool.There was some satilite channels and a DVD player but we never used at all, the wi fi was good as used by the teenagers to keep in contact at home.The small town of Teulada was close by you could either walk or take the car, had banks, supermarkets,petrol and all the usual small shops bars and some restaurants, the seaside town of moraria was just 10 mins drive with a nice beach and lots of restaurants, shops and supermarkets also. Overall we had a great time at this villa and would certainly come back.

Beautiful house, fabulous garden, great location

Stayed in the house in September. Two adult couples (40s and 60s).

Location: house is set amongst vineyards just outside the town of Teulada. Lovely views to the mountains, very peaceful and quiet. Easy walking distance to the town, which has all the amenities required, including fantastic market on a Wednesday. Car recommended to travel further afield. Short drive to various beaches and the town of Moraira, which has a fantastic Indonesian restaurant.

House: spectacularly well-equipped; literally anything you could possibly need. We've previously rented several villas, but none have had the amazing outdoor space this finca has. The landscaping is beautiful, the pool area is perfect, and the barbeque/eating area is a fantastic place to spend an evening.

Owner was superb in organising the rental, keeping in touch before and during the stay, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.

All in all, a fantastic holiday in a lovely, traditional finca. My father said it was probably the best holiday he's ever had.

Fabulous remote rustic finca k with all the amenities of home

Really great isolated rustic finca. Lots of love has been put into it.plenty of the owners touches and well stocked with kitchen hear. Very hot when we went- perhaps another couple of parasols would be nice. Lovely place

Owner's Response: Thanks for the lovely review. We always want our guests to feel at home as possible. As you say it has been so hot this year already so we have since bought another parasol and put up a pergola on the terrace for some shade. Last season's one had blown down in the winter storms and sadly I hadn't had time to put it up for your stay but it is a permanent fixture now.

Total Relaxation

As a couple of people have already said, the finca is even better than the photos show! Lovely and clean with everything you need. Tastefully furnished and comfortable. Outside is heaven with different sitting areas. The hammock in the shade is perfect. The pool area fantastic. We didn't eat out in the evening at all as it was such a pleasure to sit outside in the peace and quiet under the stars. Teulada is a lovely quaint Spanish town and Moraira just down the road. This finca is a lovely piece of paradise tucked away and we were very fortunate to have chosen it. Thank you Victoria

Fantastic house, in a relaxing location

This house provided the best location for our holiday.

The owners were incredibly helpful throughout the booking process and helped us in making the decision whether to hire a car or to use taxis. (We did not hire a car in the end, as we spent most of our time at the house!).

We used taxis on a couple of the evenings to visit Moraira, which cost us 14 euros each way.

We also took the train - the train station is a ten minute walk from the house - to one of the harbours.

But, back to the house itself, as it was just perfect! The house was very clean and tidy. The air con worked brilliantly, and was necessary, for when we went to sleep.The handbook which is provided came in handy, and we used it's recommendations for the restaurants we visited. El Chamizo, in Moraira, was our personal favourite, right on the beach, with beautiful views and fantastic food.

I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday. I would recommend this house to anyone who is in need of a good night's sleep and some sun bathing.
