Apartment in Centre of Fuengirola, Costa del Sol - In 'Fish Alley'

This comfortable apartment is situated right in the heart of Fuengirola, just across the road from the beach. It is ideal for self catering holidays. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The lounge/dining room benefits from air-conditioning whilst the 3 bedrooms are all fitted with ceiling fans.the apartment has free internet and wifi connection. The many bars and restaurants are just seconds away. The bus and train station are just 5 minutes walk making this an ideal spot for sightseeing as well as relaxing on the beach. Fuengirola abounds with shops of every description, with 2 local markets each week plus a flea market on a Saturday. Fuengirola is built on the 'flat' making it easy for just strolling around, and with two fabulous beaches both sides of the port/marina gives plenty of scope for an easy walk, just taking in the sights.

About the Owner

We have lived in Fuengirola for nearly 25 years. We have a bar/restaurant in Fish Alley, Adrian is from Glasgow and Vicky is from Luton. The bar is open 7 days a week from 10am till late. We have a lot of regular clients who rent from us each year. Many like the security of knowing that we or our staff are always on hand should any problems arise. Questions in emails are always answered honestly, if we give distances or timings, it´s because I have checked them out (by foot). Our bar serves good home cooked food and we often provide takeaways so that clients can stay in and watch the soaps! We both play golf when work permits. We also try to spend time with our daughters and 3 grandchildren who live close by. We also have a son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter still in the U.K.

Had a great time, the apartment just suited the six of us brilliantly, being 85, it was great to cross the road and have a walk alone the promenade, especially with all the seats available. My wife and her sister were really impressed as they could watch 'corrie' at night and Adrian provided the take away fish suppers in his bar/restaurant below. It was a great place to meet people too. A very well maintained and comfortable holiday apartment, with everything needed for our stay..The apartment was clean and welcoming..In a perfect location for our stay, the owner was very helpful and always on call. The free wifi was a bonus.Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Good sized apartment, plenty of space for the 6 of

Absolutely fantastic, 2nd time we have stayed in this apartment and not disappointed, directly over the road from the beach, short walk to all other amenities, shops and restaurants. The bar downstairs is owned by the same person so there is always someone on hand in case of problems. The owner goes out of his way to give you a pleasant stay. Very pleased. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Great apartment

This apartment is very central and perfectly placed. It is large and has comfy beds.

We had great weather while we were there & there was plenty of hot water for showers after a day at the beach (which is just over the road)

We will definitely be back.

well maintained holiday apartment, everything you need on holiday is here.The apartment was just as the pictures show clean and welcoming with plenty of hot water for 6 showers and plenty of towels.Central location,but quite at night in a pedestrian street,the owner was very helpful and always on call. The free wifi was a bonus.Will book again for 2015.

the apartment was amazing me and my two friends had everything we wanted in walking distance, the apartment was nice and clean and a lot of space so we didn't feel like we was on top of each other.

the price of the apartment in October was good. Also the people who run the little restaurant down stairs was amazing when we got there giving us the keys and helping us out, very friendly people and a joy to be around. I liked the apartment so much im looking into coming back in 2015 and staying here again :)

Location

From the Owner

We bought the apartment in Fish Alley as it was above our bar and was just across the road from the beach but central to all that Fuengirola had to offer. This was our 3rd apartment in Fuengirola We lived there for a number of years but then decided to move out of Fuengirola to give ourselves space from being "at work 24/7". and nearer to our golf course. We now drive into work once or twice a day, however, once we retire from golf, and get too old to drive - we will then return to live in this apartment. It is so ideally situated for shops, restaurants and bars, or just a stroll along the sea front, and being on the flat would make it even easier if either of us - in our old age - need the odd sit down - the promenade has seats placed every few yards.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Fuengirola is renowned for its 5 miles of beaches. Sunbeds and parasols are available. There are plenty of showers situated on the beach. Pedaloes and water skiing are available. The port offers boat trips, be it a ferry to Benalmadena, glass bottom boats, dolphin watch or a sunset cruise, fishing trips are also available.

Travel:

Malaga International Airport is 20km. The railway and bus stations are very close by. Public transport is not only very cheap, it is also very reliable. Car hire is not necessary.

Distances:

There are many 'white' Spanish villages close by. Mijas being the closest. There is a local bus service which is half hourly. Day trips to Gibraltar, Granada, Ronda, The Lakes etc. are easily booked at local travel agents.

Further Details:

Fuengirola is a very cosmopolitan town. There is every type of shopping from sophisticated shops to markets. Large department stores and shopping malls. Thousands of bars and restaurants offering every type of cuisine imaginable. Most welcome families.

Many supermarkets, most stocking British goods all within walking distance. Multiscreen cinemas.

A great day out to Aqua Park or visit Fuengirola unique zoo.

25% non-refundable deposit required to secure any booking with the balance along with a £100 security deposit to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival (a reminder will be sent 9 weeks before arrival date). Minimum 1 week rental charge, extra days pro rata. Receipt of your deposit constitutes acceptance of our booking conditions which are as follows:
Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge.
4-8 weeks 50% of rate refunded.
2-4 weeks 25% of rate refunded.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival time is 2pm. Departure time is 11am unless agreed for a later time which would be dependant on bookings.

Notes on prices:
Generous discounts for 4 weeks or more november to march excluding christmas and new year weeks. i.e700.00pounds per month all inclusive.
