Central location for beach, Marina and Golf courses in Vilamoura.

This 3 bedroom, fully air conditioned apartment which sleeps 6, is ideally situated within the Old Village being very close to the main pool areas. Free Wifi is available for all guests. It benefits from terraced areas on all floors plus a large roof terrace. It has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. All three bedrooms are on the first floor. The master room has ensuite and the two twin rooms share the main bathroom. Cobbled streets, immaculate gardens and Georgian style houses make up the Old Village. 3 swimming pools, a supermarket, bakery, 3 restaurants and 2 cafe bars are situated within the Old Village complex. With a 20 minute walk to the beach and Marina this apartment is ideally situated within Vilamoura. A Tours and Transfers service is available for all guests using the Old Village (charges apply), to take you either on short trips to the Marina or Waterpark or further a field in the Algarve. The Old Village is suited to couples, families, groups of friends and golfers. The apartment is on the first floor and is accessed by an external staircase to the front door. There is also an internal staircase to the living area and another external staircase to the roof terrace. Fitted stair gates are inside for guests with small children. This apartment may not be suitable if you have difficulty with stairs.

We really loved your apartment, the lay out is excellent. Lounge area was very relaxing with comfy seating which you don't always find in apartmts. It really felt like home from home and the roof terrace was well used as well. We also found the appliances supplied were great. Stayed here for 9 nights at the begining of May 11. 5 adults fitted easily into apartment, no problem for 6 either. Was spotlessly clean and well equiped.The Zanzibar was just 15 paces from the front door and we ate there several times. Good food and good value. Site shop was very well stocked and was a decent size.Weather was really good after the first couple of days and we made good use of the pool, although it was very 'refreshing'! Easy walk to Villamoura town or marina. Have looked at booking again for September, but sadly already booked. N Abel 05/2011.

Beautiful stay at Kate's apartment plenty of space comfortable stay beds extra comfortable lots of extra for adults and children , I would recommend anyone to stay at 2bc

As a party of 4 adults we stayed in this lovely apartment. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen equipment is well stocked for the self catering uses, with a nice big fridge. I didn't travel with children but thought the detail of stair gates were a good touch with safety in mind. I had previously stayed on the same complex in a different apartment and had 7 days of the worst nights sleep due to the poor quality mattresses....... as you can imagine I was delighted to see that the mattresses were of a high standard and very comfortable.

The owner communicated well with me about transfers etc and was a pleasure to deal with.

I would happily stay at this apartment again. :)

Lovely accommodation, great resort

We had a fantastic holiday with our two adult children. The accommodation was spacious and very clean and well equipped. The roof terrace was an added bonus, especially the BBQ.

The old village is a really beautiful resort with ample places to eat and pools to go to if you want.

We chose to walk to the marina most nights as it was only a 20 min walk at most and that is beautiful. It has everything adults and older children would want.

Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

We had been on holiday to Vilamoura before we had children and decided to buy a property as we thought it is a perfect place to spend our family holidays. We felt that the area has everything that we enjoy in a holiday - sun, beaches, variety of restaurants, golf, a Marina and friendly people. Vilamoura is ideally situated, if like us, you prefer a short drive from the airport as its only a 20 min drive. If you enjoy eating, drinking or just strolling along a Marina, then Vilamoura is perfect.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


The two main sandy beaches in Vilamoura are a 20 minute walk - Falesia and Marina beach. The marina in Vilamoura has plenty of good restaurants for all tastes, cafes, bars and shops.


The Old Village is a 25 minute drive from Faro airport. By taxi this can cost approximately 35 euros each way. Our Management Company can arrange either car hire or transfers for you.


Vilamoura Marina is about a 15/20 min walk from the apartment. Quarteria is about 3km from the Old Village and has a market every Wednesday, Loule is about a 20 min drive and also has a weekly market.

Further Details:

The Algarve Shopping Center in Guia is approximately 30 mins by car which has well known high street shops and also a retail park. There is also a large water park (Aquashow) about a 10 min drive away, this is a great day out for all the family. The Marina has a variety of lovely restaurants, ice cream parlors and places to just drink.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for couples, families and golfers. Retractable safety stair gates have been installed inside the apartment for families with younger children. There is a minimum stay of 1 week during the peak season. Cots can be hired from our management company in advance of your stay. Cots including linen are 28 euros per week. Outside: The Old Village has 3 swimming pools. The main pool has a large shallow end for children. Please note that there is a small charge for the hire of sunbeds around the pool areas. Within the village there is a supermarket open 7 days a week, 2 cafe bars, 3 restaurants and a playground for children. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided for indoor use only. Please bring your own beach/pool towels. For 2 week bookings a towel & linen change & a clean will be done midstay. For 1 week bookings this can be provided, but by arrangement only at an additional cost. Other: The large roof terrace provides a barbecue with sunbathing and seating areas and offers lovely views over to the old village and Pinhal golf course. Both the twin bedrooms also lead onto another large patio area.
