Just back from our 3rd stay i in this fabulous apartment , it's like home from home everything you need this apartment has it all, The views are amazing from balcony and pool area the apartment is clean the cleaners came in and changed the beds they were so friendly, bed is so comfy as is the soft furnishings, kitchen well equipped with all you need, the beach just down road shops restaurants beach bars don't need a car but we did hire one, went up the mountains and went to Mojacar old town then to Garucha you can get the bus to most of these they are every half hour leaves from the bottom of the road that leads up to the apartment Thank you again Robbie for another brilliant time in your apartment we just love it!! we shall return Dave an Pat .

Excellent apartment!

I hesitate to write this review because we may find the apartment fully-booked, to our exclusion, in future ! :-)

We have taken a winter break in Spain for the past 8 years; this is by far the most comfortable apartment we have stayed in. The location is excellent, with a balcony that gets the sun all day, and for the evenings the Wi-Fi and satellite TV set-up (UK Freesat channels) is very handy.

The apartment is clean and well-furnished, we slept well and it was all over too soon!

Thank you, we'll be back I'm sure!

Great holiday!

Second holiday in Robbie's apartment - both great! Returned this summer on a late booking.

So happy to be dealing with Robbie again. Booking easy, apartment exactly as described, spotlessly clean and local contact lovely.Teenagers loved the Internet access.Stress free holiday! Love the easy access from airport. We'll be back!

Fantastic apartment and a fantastic holiday

We have just returned from our holiday in a beautiful and very unknown part of Spain.The apartment was spotless and had everything you could wish to use ,the air conditioning was much needed in August and the WiFi a bonus for the kids . The setting of the apartment was perfect 5 min to the beach and close to a small and cheap supermarket that had everything . We used the pool a lot and most times had it to ourselves.Robbie was very helpful whilst booking the holiday & organised transfers from the airport for us. Mojacar itself has plenty to do we took the bus up to the old town and also to a waterpark in a nearby resort ,there are loads of restaurant's to pick from and a nice shopping centre to wander around. As a family of 4 we have loved mojacar and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment and resort to others .

WOW!!!!!

What an amazing apartment with stunning views. This apartment had everything in it that we needed and a little more. Robbie was super at answering all questions very promptly, even those that seemed trivial. We dined outside every morning, bliss. Everything stated on the website was accurate and Robbie had put a lot of thought into what he has. The added touch of wifi was excellent. I would definitely recommend this property as five stars to friends but then again maybe I'll just keep it to myself, a little piece of paradise.

Great Place

This appartment is in an excellent, central position in Mojacar Playa and at the same time peaceful, with great views of the hillside and sea.It is clean, comfortable and well equipped.It is a very short walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Location

I went out looking for a Spanish property as an investment in April 2004 starting in Alicante and making my way down the coast. I was struggling to find anywhere that I really liked until I drove into Mojacar and fell in love with the place almost instantly. I consider myself really lucky to have strayed upon such a beautiful area and having chosen an apartment and location that has turned out to be about the very best the area has to offer.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is minutes walk to the best and main beach and all its associated amenities. The beautiful beach, bay and promenade can be seen in panoramic view from the terrace.

Travel:

The area is serviced by Almeria (75km), Murcia (170km) and Alicante (220km) Airports with flights from all over the UK & Ireland by all the major national and budget airlines. There are extensive car-hire options from all of these airports but public transport to Mojácar is also possible from both Almería & Murcia.

Distances:

The apartment is literally 5/10 minutes from all the local amenities - best beach, supermarket, many bars, restaurants, bus services etc.

Very close by are beautiful areas of interest such as Mojácar Pueblo (9km), port town of Garrucha (10km) (Both are accessible by the local bus service), the fishing village of Villaricos (15km). In the other direction the spectacular coast road winds its way through the Cabo de Gata national Park towards Carboneras (21km)

Changeover Day:
Arrive and leave on any day. The arrival and departure times are officially 3.00pm and 12 noon respectively though these would only ever be enforced in the unlucky event that someone is arriving on the same day you leave.

It's about the best location an apartment has to offer in the area: right in the heart of the main beach and many local bars and restaurants and phenomenal views out to sea and down over the beach. The apartment complex is mature and benefits from full occupation and owners who are prepared to pay increased community fees to keep the grounds and area in extremely good condition (and clean and tidy of course). Inside the apartment, as it's a place where I spend much time especially in the winter, it benefits from a much higher specification of beds, bedding, furniture, fixtures & fittings, electronics, kitchenware etc than your average rental property. It really is a home from home and much of my business now that I have been renting for over 8 years is returning guests.

Notes:

  • The complex is small and is far enough away from the main drag to be completely peaceful and there is no neighbouring new or current building/construction work of any description. Outside: There is a large shared swimming pool (10m x 10m) for use by the residents only. The complex is small and quiet and therefore, the pool is seldom busy. It has toilet, shower facilities and plenty of room for sunbathing. It also benefits from stunning views over the sea, beach and main promenade. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Full linen service including bath, hand and tea towels. Bed linens and towels changed weekly for lets longer than 1 week. Complimentary welcome pack including tea, coffee, water, milk, eggs, butter and bread.
