La Petite Maison De Pommier is a traditional stone cottage with exposed beams, wooden floors and large fireplace. It has been sympathetically modernised to provide comfortable accommodation yet retain the character of the building. There is a large south facing patio area with outside furniture and Bar-B-Q leading onto a large garden. The property is in a small hamlet of 5 properties and is at the end of a lane with uninterrupted views across the countryside. An ideal position to explore the many places of interest or just relax and watch the wildlife and local buzzards.

Perfectly situated for walking and cycling holidays.
To the west are the beaches at the Baie Du Mont St Michel upto Granville which are about 1 - 1.5 hours drive. Sheltered beaches with shallow water.
To the north are the Landing Beaches from Grandcamp-Maisy along to Ouistreham which are about 1 - 1.5 hours drive. This coastline is more rugged with long stretches of beach and surf.

Dieppe 2.5 hours - LD Lines

Lonlay L'Abbaye 2.5 miles, pretty village with ancient Abbey and local bakers, butchers, bar, restaurant and mini-mart.
Flers and Domfront 8 and 6, miles both offering larger supermarkets and weekly markets. Bagnoles De L'Orne 15 miles, a beautiful spa town with casino and outdoor swimming pool. Mont St Michel about an hours drive.
The property is near one of the National Parks and there are plenty of walks and cycle routes to discover. The lakes at Larchamp, 2 miles, and Champsecret, 10 miles, offer fishing chargeable at half day or full day rates.
Fosse Arthur, 5 miles, has rock climbing and horse riding as well as forest walks, fishing and cycling. Torchamp, 8 miles, and Clecy, 25 miles, are the places to go for kayaking and other water activities. For something different, try the velo rails at Bagnoles De L'Orne 15 miles, Pont Erambourg20 miles and St Loup-du-Gast-25 miles, great fun for all cycling on a railway line on specially adapted bikes for 4! The leisure lake at Ambrieres les Vallees offers kayaking, tennis, walks, cycling, adventure playground, mini golf and an outdoor pool - perfect place for a picnic and day out. If you're not scared of heights, try the tree walks at Bagnoles De L'Ornes 15 miles and St Leonard des Bois 30 miles, an elevated tree top path through the woods (harness and helmets provided!) For any motorsport fan, the cottage is 1.5 hour drive from Le Mans. If the racing isn't on the motor museum is well worth a look and the city is great for shopping and eating. Within 1 to 1.5 hours drive, the many Normandy Landing Beaches, museums and War Cemetries can be reached.
Bayeaux and Mont St Michel are each within 1 hours drive and worth a vist.
Locally, there are alot of town markets to visit offering locally grown produce, cheeses, fish, meats and hot food takeaways - we like St Hilaire du Harcourt about 25 miles from the cottage held each Wednesday morning. There are plenty of bars serving excellent "plat de jours" in the local area and good restaurants for something a bit special. If you like castles/chateaux there are plenty in the local area - Bagnoles ad Lassay le Chateau - and further afield at Falaise and Fougere are also worth a a visit.

"My Standard Rate" of £350 per week is the discounted cost for 2 guests renting the cottage
Contact the owner by telephone or email to confirm availability.
A non refundable deposit of 50% of the rental cost your confirms your booking AND a security deposit is also required of £150 which will serve as a bond against damages and/or excessive cleaning charge. The balance of the rental cost is payable in sterling 30 days before commencement of the rental period.
On departure, our local representative will check the property and advise us in order that we can refund the bond.
Changeover day is Saturday however, where possible, we will try to be flexible to accommodate your requests.
Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time before 11am.
