About Anita

We are a family of four from the Midlands who have spent many happy years at the property. As the children have grown, we have found different pursuits to entertain them. Aged 13 and 11, they are very happy to keep returning!

Why Anita chose Ariege

The property offers so much for us to see and do both on-site and within very close proximity. If you wish to travel around the area whilst here there is a vast choice of places to go. Equally, you can leave the car behind and still discover the local area, it's wildlife, walks, villages, markets, and local produce on foot!

What makes this apartment unique

The views of the Pyrenees as you wake up in the morning, family meals on the terrace, watching the children enjoying the space, being able to play freely, against the backdrop of the mountains. For me, the apartment gives us our family back - there is no need for rushing about, just lots of time to enjoy being together. That said, there are plenty of things for us to do outside of the apartment. This year we enjoyed a day out at Orlu where the children went climbing trees at Akrobranche. Last year, the children went to the Pottery workshop also at Orlu and made a vase and a bowl.

Guestbook comments from the owner

‘Thanks for a very nice stay. We have really enjoyed the apartment as well as the surroundings. It is a really relaxing place with plenty of activities to engage in. Both the apartment and grounds are ideal for small children, which is important when two families share apartments and have children in the ages from 2-8. The younger ones really appreciated the good selection of games. The adults liked the dishwasher and the sun-bathing chairs’ - Anneli Raadim, Norway.

‘Came for a weekend snowboarding with friends. Ax-les-Thermes is a great little ski resort only 20 mins away by car, nice and quiet.’ - Anna Bull, England.

‘We had a lovely time here. The apartment is great and the surroundings beautiful and tranquil. Apart from enjoying the freedom and pool, we've had many an excursion out into the small villages and mountains. There are some stunning views all around this area. Thank you for our stay we've enjoyed it very much.’ - Mike Horne, England.
