Apartment in Esmeralda 35630 Caleta De Fuste, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Private Parking, 5 Mins from Beach

Esmerelda is a beautiful modern seaside apartment set at the foot of Chipmonk Mountain in the town of Caleta de Fuste. The town itself is the ideal place relax or a base to travel all around it is the most central town on the island. The Oasis park zoo, Baku water park, Ocean Catt Catamarins and 2 championship golf courses all with discounts for guests on some activities. The Atlantico modern shopping ctr is 300 m away and the main city Puerto del Rosario only 15 minutes on the bus which stops directly across from Esmeralda. A car is not essential as buses run from north to south of the island via Caleta regularly, although, if you plan a trip across the mountains a car is needed. Bars and the best restaurants on the island are all within 5 minutes. Portuguese steak house recommended closest to apartment 150m and easy to find, but book early as it is always difficult to get a table. The Step inn and Flower of Scotland are 2 bars with all sports covered within 100 metres.

There is many reasons to live in Fuerteventura but the peace and tranquility along with the warm climate was enough for me.

What makes this apartment unique

From the time you touch down at the Airport until you reach Esmeralda takes 15 minutes.

With a kids and adult poos 2 terraces and lots of lounging area round the pool area gives great freedom.

The single entry gates gives a great sense of security.

Two championship golf courses within 2 km Oasis park Zoo the islands main attractions 45 mins, Baku water park,Ocean catt,sub cat submarine some of the top restaurants and Carhire. Loungers on both terraces with tables, parasol and chairs, barbecue included. Utility Room: Utility room washing machine, sink and storage for mops brushes and linen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bedlinen provided and cleaned weekly, some beach towels supplied. Other: 2 large terraces with sun loungers, tables and chairs. Arrived at the complex was greeted by lisa who took us to the apartmend which was very spacious and well kitted out.the 2 terraces is a major plus with shade or sun which ever you wished.Sky tv and wifi was great to have and the place is clean as was the area and the owner had painter coming the day after we left.Calets is a beautful place we fell in love with it the walks ,beach,restaurants and all.

Family holiday in Caletta de Fuste

First impression on arrival of the complex was very good. It was very private, secure and clean. Lisa met us on arrival and was very welcoming. She showed us round the villa which was lovely, very roomy with 2 large balconies however it really could have done with a little TLC, a lick and paint, possible replacement of some of the furnishings and more kitchen equiptment (new toaster, baking sheets etc) but apart from that it was clean. Sky tv and internet access was a bonus especially as travelling with two small grandchildren. We had a very comfortable stay and villa was good value for money. Very close to all amenities in a very pleasant area. Well worth a visit .

Owner's Response: The apartment had been scheduled in april to be painted but the painter had to return to the UK and has been painted last week thoroughly with new bed and furniture,bedsheets and utensils all replaced this was planned for some time to revolve around the complete painting.

The international airport in Fuerteventura is a modern and impressive building. It is situated very close to the capital, Puerto del Rosario, and only 10 minutes by car from the resort of Esmeralda Caleta de Fuste.

Beach 5 mins walk Caleta De Fuste is a purpose built resort. It is based around the large horseshoe shaped cove. The natural features of this cove, or caleta, mean that there is a gentle slope into the sea, it is protected from waves, and there are no dangerous currents. The beach has been created from imported sand, and other bathing areas have been made around lagoons created by digging into the rock behind the shoreline and replacing with sand.


Fuerteventura airport 10 mins in taxi, approx 9km.

A good way of seeing some of Fuerteventura is to go on a trike tour with Cool Runnings, there are 6 tours starting from Caleta de Fuste and 4 tours starting from Corralejo.

La Lajita Oasis Park is a good place to visit; either on an organised tour or by yourself. To get there go south on the FV 2 towards Costa Calma, La Lajita Oasis Park, is approximately40 minutes from Caleta.

Visit the Baku family park, it is in Corralejo 45 minutes drive.


Caleta de Fuste is in the centre of the island, 1 hour south will take you to Morro Jable, while 45 mins north will take you to Corralejo where the ferry goes to Lanzarote.
