Housed in a small block of six privately owned and recently constructed apartments in the village of Soline, this modern and bright apartment offering WIFI throughout, has a large private terrace, with a table chairs for alfresco dining and sun loungers, providing the perfect base for anyone wishing to explore the delights of the Dubrovnik Riviera and the surrounding islands. The apartment consists of one bedroom with a large queen sized bed, a further sofa bed in the lounge, a bathroom with a shower and a bath, a fully fitted kitchen (with a hob,oven and microwave etc.), and a living/dining area with an LCD TV, and DVD player.

A first class apartment with all you need...

My wife and I had a great week at this excellent apartment in Soline near Dubrovnik. The accommodation was very much as described. Kevin, the owner was excellent to deal with and he provided all the relevant information we required to make our arrival from the airport perfectly seamless. Incidentally it is only a 10 minute drive from the airport as well, which is a bonus. The property was immaculately presented and Azra, the lady who acts as the agent for the apartmen block is great to deal with and great company, as well as being very helpful with her local knowledge.

It was never less than 28 Celsius during the day - sometimes going to 33C, and the Air-Conditioning is a boon - and very necessary and effective. There's a Pizza Restaurant next door to the apartments which is very good and they open from early morning thru to midnight. Although the bus service is frequent I would still recommend a rental car with the obligatory Air-con of course, as walking around for any longer in the really hot sun for longer than half an hour became uncomfortable. There's loads to see - we actually clocked up 800km in the week that we were there, but a real jewel in the crown - the beautiful coastal town of Cavtat (pronounced Tsavtat apparantly - thanks for the pronounciation lesson Azra!) - , is just a 5 minute drive south and is a must see. Parking in the Council car park there is 10 Kuna for one hour - around £1:20, although we were lucky a few times and got to park for free along the narrow coast road as and when an empty space became available. By contrast parking in Dubrovnik is a nightmare and very expensive (£5 an hour in the centre) of the Old Town. I would recommend going to Dubrovnik by boat - there are numerous services - to Dubrovnik which is around 80- 100 kuna for the return trip from Cavtat or Srebreno and you'll have no parking worries - unless you have a Blue Badge and you can park for free. Another must for us was the 3 Island boat trip from Srebreno which was excellent value - around £27 per head - which includes a 9 hour day out, hot lunch (hake, which was great, or chicken) and free wine.

In summary we highly recommend the apartment, and the Dubrovnik/Dalmation Coast. You will not be disappointed! We are booked to go back to the area in October - that's how good it is!!

Activity and Interests


The apartment is 15 minutes walk from local beaches. There are restaurants, coffee shops/bars, etc. at the beach areas.


Dubrovnik's Cilipi airport is approximately a fifteen minute drive from the apartment. Additionally, the border with Montenegro is only twenty five minutes away. Car hire is a distinct advantage, as there is so much to see and do, but not absolutely essential as local buses provide a cheap and reliable service in and around the Dubrovnik vicinity.


Dubrovnik 15 minute drive;

Cavtat 7-10 minute drive;

Montenegro 25 minute drive.

Utility Room: A separate locked store room provides an area for stowing suitcases etc for the duration of your stay. Also stored here is the ironing board, clothes horse, terrace umbrella and stand, and general cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided, and the apartment is cleaned once every week.
