Apartment in Vale Do Lobo, Algarve, Portugal - Superb Location, Short Stroll From Beach And Restaurants

This superb resort with fantastic facilities along with a wonderful climate make it a great choice of holiday for families, couples or golf parties. Also the perfect destination for those who just want to relax and soak up the sun. Guests can access the pool at the tennis academy or at the praca (charges apply). The beach and resort centre (Praca) with its multitude of high quality restaurants is a 3 min drive or pleasant 15 min stroll away. A further choice of high class but friendly, family run restaurants are a few minutes drive away just outside the resort. The resort also benefits from the Royal Spa, which offers a fantastic range of treatments in a state of the art spa. The apartment has all the facilities you would expect at home including wi-fi and prices include air con/heating.

Following a holiday in Vale do Lobo and having loved the resort, we bought the apartment and have enjoyed many holidays there since with friends, family and now with grand-children.

Coast/Beach:

The beach is either a 3 minute drive or 15 minute pleasant stroll along manicured paths and golf course. Miles of wide sandy beaches provide space for finding a quiet spot or taking advantage of the high class bars and restaurants overlooking the beach at the Praca. Sun loungers and umbrellas available for hire, although the apartment has several sun umbrellas for guest's use.

Travel:

Faro Airport is just 20 minutes drive from Vale do Lobo. Taxi transfers can be arranged although you can easily hire a car from either the airport (directions will be given) or from Vale do Lobo reception. There are many budget airlines with routes to Faro.

Distances:

A wide choice of high class but friendly, family run restaurants are a few minutes drive away just outside the resort. Other amenities include a medical centre, supermarket, cashpoints, children's club, local horse riding, hairdressers, newsagent and a variety of other shops, with more extensive shopping available a few minutes drive away in Almancil or exclusive shopping in Quinta do Lago, a few minutes drive away. Vilamoura and marina is approx 15 min drive away as is an aqua park.

Further Details:

The 14 court tennis academy is only a short walk from the apartment and offers lessons, tournaments and social activities to all ages and levels of player. Vale do Lobo's superb facilities along with a wonderful climate make it a superb choice of holiday for families, couples or golf parties.

Notes on accommodation: If air-conditioning/heating is required, there is an additional charge of £7 /night. Small children will need supervision on sun terraces. Two sets of stairs within apartment. Baby equipment availalbe for hire. A damage deposit of £150 is required when paying balance which is fully refunded as soon as apartment is checked. Outside: Both terraces have patio furniture (2 sunloungers, table/chairs). One has eating area and BBQ. Sun awning for those who prefer more shade. Parking available. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (apart from beach towels) and linen included. Maid service and towel change end of week.

Home from Home

4 of us arrived in Portugal on the 12th of August and stayed for a week. This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this apartment and definately not the last. It's like home from home for us. When you walk in to the apartment you can tell it is well looked after. It has a modern homely feel to it which we love, it's also very clean. It is situated approx 15 minute walk from the beach, bars and restaurants on the praća which is great. Tina is really helpful and answered any questions that we had, a pleasure to deal with. I would definately recommend anyone to stay in this apartment.

Summer vacation with family

Very nice apartment. Good location. Clean, good beds, air conditioning, TV, enough closets and nice little kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Small balcony with gas BBQ witch we used 3 times. Bigger balcony on top level for sunbathing and hang the beach towels. Apolonia is a great supermarket. Many nice restaurants. We had a rental car. We missed Wifi and a swimming pool for the kids.

We had a lovely time. Very relaxed. We went to Faro old town and Forum Algarve shopping mall. Every day to the beach. Sometimes the waves are challenging. We sure would come again to this apartment. Also the communication with the owner was excellent.

Home from Home

Just returned from 3 weeks in the apartment. Had everything you need for a lovely holiday. We had a car, which I think is a must. Has 2 balconies which get the morning sun. We didn't use air con or heating and temperature was fine. Great to have British tv. Hope to return later in the year.
