Great cottage with fabulous on site facilities

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week in Honeysuckle cottage. The house was spotlessly clean, has good sized bedrooms with lots of storage and well appointed kitchen and bathroom. The onsite facilities were excellent; the indoor pool, play area and games room being favourites with our children. There is plenty to do in the local area and we definately plan to return.

We love this cottage

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this cottage twice now. We love the cottage and the area around. The pool is a real added benefit. The cottage is very well equipped and the area around is beautiful. We will be back again next year.

Honeysuckle Cottage,Stancombe Manor

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a wonderful Easter break at Honeysuckle Cottage. We have stayed in Honeysuckle many times during school holidays and always find it to be clean and comfortable with everything that we need . The on site facilities are great and we spend a lot of each holiday making the most of the swimming pool, tennis court and pitch and putt or just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful grounds. There are many attractive beaches nearby such as South Milton Sands, Hope Cove and Blackpool Sands and interesting towns such as Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. There are numerous National Trust properties in the area and other attractions . We never get bored whatever the weather and can't wait to return !

The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could need for a pleasant stay. We also made use of the excellent on site facilities, including the swimming pool, pitch and putt and gams room. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Great half term holiday

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Honeysuckle cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and was very well maintained and comfortable. All the facilities are of a high standard and we enjoyed making use of them all, especially the swimming pool. Ideal for all family age groups, we have 2 teenage sons and they thoroughly enjoyed their half term break. Set in a beautiful location and close to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth.

Superb cottage, set in idyllic location. All facilities thoroughly enjoyed. Quiet location with swimming pool, tennis courts, snooker room and sauna. Golf would also be enjoyed when weather/ground improves.

Close to Salcombe and Dartmouth and locally lovely walks across to Burgh Island and Blackpool Sands worth a visit.

Cottage facilities excellent and in lovely decorative order. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

Location

From the Owner

At the time we lived in The North but spent many wonderful holidays in glorious Devon where we first met and married but when we left we aimed to return. It was always a sanctuary to us away from hustle and bustle of everyday life although where we lived was beautiful in parts too far for us from the coast for us! It has a coastline hard to beat throughout the world just on a smaller scale!
