Casa Podere Monti is completly family run, and it is our own personal commitment to great care of the estate and the gardens to make this place a special one, not just for us but also for all our visitors. Me and my parents work together to keep Casa Podere Monti at its best and to give our guests a complete assistance during the stay. It is in our choice not to have an official reception office. Maybe you need any assistance? or simply have a question? You can knock at our door of our home. There will be always someone available to help you!

The concept of a family enviroment is related also to the holiday accommodations:made to be family friendly. The garden is contained and well kept , just the type of place that invites to sit outside to read a book , play games or drink a nice glass of red wine ( Chianti of course ! ).

The panoramic pool is set in a short distance from the apartments and cottages, so it is close enough reach by foot , but not too close that the fun and laughter will spill over into the garden. The apartments and the cottages are designed to appeal to adults ,couples and kids.

The area lends itself to a fun filled family holiday, especially when you are interested about the local culture, traditions and meeting the Tuscans. Casole d'elsa is just 1 km from the Holiday House ( there is a well mantained path , illuminated at night) and it is a lovely little town with an exceptionally packed social calendar. You will always find concerts , markets , activities and events that will bring you into the authentic atmosphere.

Apartment Mandorlo :

In total is a 100 m² apartment, on ground floor with independent entrance.It is is composed by a large dining area with sofas , fully equipped kitchen ,second smaller kirchen corner, 2 double bedrooms, a bedroom with twin beds ,2 bathrooms with wc and shower.

In front of Mandorlo, external private terrace with table and chairs and panoramic view.

Wi fi connection on all outdoor areas.

Our Holiday House has a very ancient history dating back to the 18th century at the time of share-cropping. Totally built in stone, it is surrounded by a beautiful typical Tuscan garden with cypress trees, fruit trees and 40 hectares of fields and woodland. All the property has been wholly refurbished with great care starting from 1991, always fully respecting its original features. Our intention is to offer our guests comfortable rural hospitality yet very close to the beautiful cities of art of Tuscany, like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and others to live a truly unforgettable experience.

The outdoor area is composed of a large garden with tables to eat outdoors and a deckchair to relax in, a splendid swimming pool (measuring 6 x 12 m and open from April till October included) from which you can enjoy a spectacular view over San Gimignano and a woodland park where you can take relaxing walks, treks or cycle for lovers of mountain bikes. In front of the farmhouse , an elegant garden with a green grass carpet, many types of flowers and big cypresses. Around the pool there is a green area with deckchairs, large parasols and an hedge of roses.

The farm is only 1 km from the medieval village of Casole d'elsa ,reachble in 10 min via a safe scenic road. Casole d'Elsa is a small medieval village located 420 m above sea level at the top of the hill. Well ventilated, it has a dry climate and pleasantly temperate with several cafès and restuarants. The heart of Casole is the "piazza Lucchetti", the small central square with its historic buildings dating from the Middle Ages, with narrow streets and small shops where you can buy typical products of the region or taste the delicious specialities in the restaurants on the small streets of the center... A characteristic of this small town is certainly the warmth and kindness of people who still live according to the old traditions and rhythms of life without pollution or stress.

NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE: STAY TAX ( 0.60 EUROS PER NIGHT PER PERSON FOR THE FIRST 5 NIGHTS ),ADDITIONAL CHANGE OF TOWELS AND LINEN 7 EUROS PER PERSON, MID- CLEANING : 50 EUROS, WASHING MACHINE : 4 EUROS / WASH,BEACH TOWELS 5 EUROS / EACH.

PLEASE NOTE : Change of towels and bed-linen is once a week and cleaning of the property is upon departure.

The rental cost does not include cleaning during guests stay (example: if you stay two weeks, you will find the property spotless upon your arrival, but will not clean a second time at the end of First week). Of course, if necessary, it will perform the second cleaning for an extra charge of € 50.00 and in that second case we will change personally the bedding.

Use of swimming pool is included and it is open from April to October 30th.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin beds bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and dining area. Outside, it has its private patio with flowers, table and chairs. The apartment can be rented with the next Studio, to transform it into 1 big apartment for 6 people with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathoom, kitchen, dining area,1 private patio over looking the garden and 1 other private bigger patio with Gazebo, table ans chairs surrounded by green hedges of laurel. This is a fantastic solution for a big family which need privacy and space. The furniture is in classic style with exposed ceiling beams and terracotta floors. The thick walls of the holiday house allow you to enjoy the pleasant coolness of summer holidays and warmth during winter stays. The apartment can be equipped with cots for babies and each room has its own heating system on a pay-per-use basis. There is a weekly linen change and final cleaning included in the price. Outside: Outdoor private space with table and 6 chairs. Pool with views over the surrounding hills, a green area around the pool with flowers, rosemary laurel and roses hedges. In front of the apartment there is the patio with table and chairs and a green carpet with splendid cypresses. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Inlcuded in price:weekly change of towels and linen;final cleaning with exception of kitchen corner that must be left cleaned;baby cot;parking.

Gorgeous house, area, perfect hostess!

I cannot say enough good things about this rental property! Everything was clean, fresh, and well organized. The location in the rolling hills of Tuscany was unbelievable! Federica was the kindest, most helpful and gracious hostess. She even located a restaurant in the nearby village where our son could eat safely with his allergies, which was a huge relief on the night we arrived! The booking process was so easy with Federica, and she responded promptly to any questions we had. The house was quiet and the proximity to nearby sights was just perfect! You won't want to leave when you stay here!

Warm and beautifulTuscan villa

We stayed the first week of March . The place is clean and you have everything you need for cooking. It was so peaceful and quiet, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommended for everyone who wants to chill out. The owners are very kind and so welcoming. If I return to Tuscany I will stay there again!

Fantastic, charming hosts - suggested day trip itineraries that were well worthwhile, off the tourist routes. The recently built apartment is tastefully appointed with a bit of traditional and new. Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms.

Excellent place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at Podere Monti Mandorlo . Federicaa and her family could not have been more welcoming. We had three couples and did day trips to surrounding towns and Florence. There was a festival in town while we visited and so things were quite lively. The surrounding towns and wineries along with the good food at the various restaurants in Casole..

Would return in a heartbeat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Podere Monti! Federica & her Mom were warm and welcoming, and very helpful in guiding us through the area and offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The home is a charming mix of old world charm and modern comforts. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds had down comforters. Bathrooms were clean and modern, with good lighting. The location was nice and central, with easy access to popular Tuscan sites.

The farm is located only 1,2 km from Casole d'Elsa, a very lovely town. In Casole you can find shops, a little supermarket, very good restaurants and pizzerias, 1 bank, post office, post box a quiet big Church, 2 baker's shops, cafes and a night pub.

It is surrounded by hedges of laurel, a 300 years holm oak and by big cypresses. Beyond the garden there are 5 hectares of green fields and a woodpark.
