A stunning and very well equipped house

We have just spent a fabulous few days in this house. It is well maintained and really well equipped. It has everything that you probably have at home and a whole lot more - from a ping pong table to a book on how to play bridge in a week-end!! Plus, plus, plus. The master suite has got not ONE but TWO private terraces, so there are lots of different areas to either chill out or to socialise as you wish. The infinity pool is really fabulous and large enough for a PROPER swim - not just a cooling dabble. There are excellent sun loungers at either end (each with a pull out table attached for your drink, your book and your sun screen). There is a boat moored just below the house on a small private jetty and available to use so long as someone in your party is qualified to drive a rib. A really perfect way to cross Mahon harbour for a coffee, a tapas lunch or some gentle shopping. There are LOTS of restaurants and bars lining the harbour - too many to name individually - and it is fun to seek out your personal favourites. The house is on the best (and most exclusive!) side of the harbour and gets the best of the sun all day and the views are tremendous. Probably NOT the ideal property for very young children but a total DREAM once they can swim. The pictures on the ad perhaps don't do the house full justice (in our opinion). The owners have a charming couple who look after the house for them: nothing is too much trouble and they are a mine of information on the island having lived in Menorca for more than twenty years. One word of warning perhaps: There are some quite hungry mosquitoes to be found all over Menorca so don't forget the repellant! But once you manage to keep them at bay the Island is just a perfect place for a sunny holiday. it is just a lovely unspoilt island, quiet, laid back and the weather is fabulous. If you have never been - try it.

The nearest beach Sa Mesqueda is only 4.4 Kms away so within 8 minutes from the house by car.

Travel:

The villa is circa 13 minutes from Mahon airport and circa 9 minutes from the ferry terminal. Car hire or use of a car is recommended.

Distances:

All times are approximate and by car: 8 mins Sa Mesqueda beach. 5 mins Historic fortress at La Mola. 9 mins Mahon historic town. 15 mins Es Castell town and military museum. 20 mins Historic Fort Marlborough. 25 mins S'Algar diving and tennis. 27 mins Son Parc golf.

25% non-refundable booking deposit immediately with the 75% balance payable within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday. When paying the balance a separate Security Deposit will be required at the rate of £250 (House) and £750 (Boat) if needed. Assuming that there has been no breakages or damage the Security Deposit will be refunded within 21 days after the expiry of the rental period. Bookings made within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday will require the full amount to be paid immediately.

Outside: A mature private garden with a 100 cubic metre infinity pool and from the bottom of the garden less than 50 metres from the edge of the harbour.
