Mature apartment (new exterior decoration for 2010) in lovely private, secure and well maintained grounds. A comfortable, convenient 2 bedroom, (New large walk in shower installed and re-tiled Oct. 2014) 1st floor, air-conditioned (new system 2008) and heated apartment, (New kitchen Easter 2013), Satellite UK TV (new 2012). Fully double glazed 2015, with lift service. A swimming pool (re-tiled and new steps installed for 2012 season) is available for the use of apartment guests and a safe sheltered cove is yards away. A sprinkling of friendly restaurants and bars in the village square immediately behind the apartment are very reasonably priced most offering fantastic value menu del dia. The local supermarket and railway station are both close by (less than 5 mins walk). Trains from Alicante, El Campello, Benidorm, Altea and Denia run on a regular basis and 24 hours a day during the summer months, which is a very swift, economical way of traveling up and down this very scenic coast.

Nice spot for beach and bars.

Good location furniture needs updating and more up to date information on local area. Will probably revisit again made some nice friends.

Location

Coveta is a wonderful escape location for me. It is a friendly village which is tucked away from the busy centers but at the same time these are easily accesible. I don't like the intense heat of summer therefore I tend to use it myself for the cooler seasons to get away from the damp and cold of the British winter!

Coast/Beach:

Beach 50 yards from apartment grounds. A quiet sheltered cove, safe for swimming within the breakwater and with beach restaurants.

Travel:

Alicante airport is 25 minutes drive. You can hire a car or taxi at the airport or we can arrange for our local agent to meet you on arrival and transport you to the apartment.

Cars can also be hired at the supermarket in the village. A bus service to El Campello runs from the village square behind apartment as well as train services up and down coast from the station less than 5 mins. away. With such good transport links a car is not essential.

El Campello 5km. Alicante 20 km, Alicante Airport 25km. Benidorm 15km.

There is a Supermarket in the village less than 5 mins walk away. Directly behind the apartment on the village square are a selection of good restaurants as well as very friendly relaxed bars.

Banks and shopping at El Campello are 7 minutes on the train, where there is a huge choice of authentic Spanish restaurants and bars, serving delicious meals or tapas. The Paseo del Maritimo, or promenade which is almost 2 miles long, makes for a lovely evening stroll. The Marina and port sit at one end of the bay, offering a lively fish market as well as a wide selection of restaurants.

For those wanting some 'retail therapy' Alicante is definitely worth the train journey and if you crave an 'English' breakfast there is always Benidorm!

The surrounding countryside and mountains are spectacular and dotted with fascinating villages all with a history and a story to tell. Views from the lofty mountain fortress of Guadalest rival those from anywhere else in Spain, and it is said that you can see Ibiza on a clear day from the top of the mountains.

Winter: If you are looking for somewhere to forget the winter blues, then the Costa Blanca enjoys warm weather all year round and in fact the Who describes the climate of the Costa Blanca as one of the best and healthiest in the world. The weather in winter is very mild compared to northern Europe. Most winter days are clear and sunny with little rainfall and you can expect around six hours of sunshine each day. The average temperature is 16 degrees but can be unpredictable and varied so a ‘mixed’ wardrobe is essential! Of course the apartment has heating so you will be nice and cosy on any chilly nights. Being in Spain out of season gives you the opportunity to explore in comfort. If you are a passionate golfer there are many courses in the area and no snow to worry about! If it gets too quiet for you, Alicante being a city is ‘open’ and ‘parties’ all year only a short train ride away and ladies the shops are great!

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds for 3 or 4 guests staying, for only 2 guests there will be a discount.
In addition for every additional full week booked the extra weeks rates will be discounted by £30!
