This spacious 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is built on the exclusive development of Duquesa del Mar, situated in the heart of Golf del Sur, which lies to the south of the island of Tenerife, only 10 minutes from the airport. The apartment itself is ground level and furnished to a very high standard and comes with plenty of home-from-home comforts that you would expect from a 5 star resort. The apartment is ideally situated within close proximity to the newly developed marina. Golf del Sur is a little quieter and more refined, compared to the more well known resorts such as the popular Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos (10km away). There is an excellent choice of bars, shops and very nice restaurants to choose from, all within very short walk (200 yards), including several Italian restaurants, a Mexican and the Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant, which is one of the best in Tenerife, there is also a choice of 2 supermarkets, 1 of which is adjacent to the complex.

About the Owner
We are a married couple in our fifties and currently live in Nantwich, Cheshire. We came to this area of Tenerife on holiday back in 2005, we all loved Golf del Sur, so much and particularly the Duquesa del Mar complex, that we purchased this apartment. Initially we bought as a long term investment but also wanted somewhere to spend time and enjoy holidaying ourselves, at first we only started renting to close friends and family to help with costs, but after a while realised that because of our location we had a lot of interest from other people. We are very particular who we allow to use our apartment, after all it is our second home, so we personally speak to every guest and do not use agents like others on the complex.

Stayed for a week in mark and Lorraine's apartment, it was like home from home, everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weeks holiday. Will definitely return x

Beautiful complex,excellent apartment
We stayed in this apartment for two weeks during April. The complex is well maintained, clean, secure and in an excellent location with a variety of fine restaurants and bars, set overlooking the marina.
The apartment overlooks the heated pool, is clean, well equiped and we found the little extras like, the sun blinds over the patio, full sky tv and internet connection a nice bonus.
This was our third visit and we would highly recommend.

The complex is very clean and well maintained.
There are lots of supermarkets and excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

Probably the very best located apartment on the Duquesa Del Mar complex. A very relaxing two-week holiday. Both the apartment and the whole complex is exceptionally well kept. Swimming pool heated to a pleasant temperature. Restaurants and bars within a short walk, though the complex itself is quiet at night.
The owners are genuinely a pleasure to deal with.
We are regular visitors to Golf del Sur and this apartment is by far the best we have stayed in. Very well equipped, comfortable and in a good location. The complex is quiet and very well maintained. We are looking forward to our return.

“We have a number of people returning each year which we are very grateful for and all say how much they enjoyed it when they return. We have made a lot of friends on the complex too over the years and always meet up with someone when we go out there. Golf del Sur is quieter than other resorts in Tenerife, but there are still plenty of bars, restaurants and entertainment to choose from, all of which are within easy walking distance from the complex, there is also a lovely marina 3 min walk away with glass bottom boat and fishing trips. This complex is a lot more up market than others in the area, which is one of the reasons why we bought here, all apartments are finished to a very high standard and the committee ensure they are looked after all year round to maintain this standard.”
Activity and Interests
The apartment is only a few hundred yards away from the coast (approx 3 mins) and a small beach. Tenerife does have some of the most unspoilt private beaches, these are only 10 minutes away by car. More information can be found on our website below.
The nearest airport is Tenerife South (Rena Sofia) which is only a 10 mins drive away, car hire is not required as there is everything available within walking distance from the complex, for those people who prefer to hire a car, we have a secure underground parking space available.
Golf del Sur lies in the south of the island and is approx 5km from Rena Sofia airport, the busier resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are only 10 - 15 mins drive away.
For those people who want to take their laptop or tablet, we have fast Internet access available at NO extra cost, speeds are generally around 7 meg, so suitable for most internet functions including Skype and Facetime. We also have a large LED 46" Samsung TV so you can enjoy FULL HD Experience in Vibrant colours!

We can hold dates for a 24 hour period to enable flights to be secured, but once a booking has been confirmed by both parties we request your flight details and £100 booking and security deposit to secure dates.
We have no restrictions to changeover days providing we have availability, we appreciate this may help people when booking their flights and are more than happy to help where possible.

“The property has the benefit of lifts from street level to all three floors thus is good for people with mobility problems & wheelchair access. We also have a garage space, for those people who want to rent a car. There is also live music at various venues and for a great night visit Volare cabaret bar which has some excellent live tribute acts. The property is very spacious and has two bathrooms. Out of 82 Apts we are the closest apartment to the pool in the whole complex, just 4 paces away! So it enjoys one of the best locations on the complex, we get sun all day! We have recently added A/C and WiFi to the apartment, together with two large Remote controlled electric sun blinds for those who prefer shade. We have also recently installed FULL UK SKY+ TV with Sky Sports & Sky Movies.”

- Notes on accommodation: For those people who wish to hire a car during their visit, the property does have its own underground garage parking space, which is accessible by a remote controlled electric roller shutter, please ask if you require this facility. Outside: The apartment is south facing and has a large sun terrace to the front and both sides of the property, the terrace has the benefit of 2 large electrically operated remote controlled sun canopies, if shade is preferred and is surrounded by a small walled garden which provides extra privacy. Utility Room: We have a seperate large walk in store room, which is very useful for storing luggage, footwear, golf clubs etc.. and also handy drying laundry and towels. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We provide 2 hand towels per person per week and 1 bath towel per person per week. For longer lets we provide a change of linen at the beginning of your stay. There is no extra cost for cleaning, this is included in the rental price. Other: HD Media Player with over 100 of the latest HD Movies, an Xbox 360 with a selection a games and a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs, there is also an iPod docking station, Fast WiFi Internet access usually around 7meg and A/C is also available.
